[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for a few weeks now and find this highly effective at a great price. I only use this twice a week to help hydrate my hair which has been damaged over the years through bleaching my hair blonde. I love that it's made from natural ingredients as I have a sensitive scalp and have found this to be soft on my head. I regularly use Argan Oil as a leave in treatment and now have replaced this with this mask instead and have found my hair becoming much stronger and hydrated. I leave this in overnight for better results. Great product and affordable!

It smells fantastic and is a good consistency to evenly distribute it through my hair. I wasn't a fan of the tun it came in as I found it difficult to removed the product from the tub without getting water in the tub or spilling product from my hand. I found it quite difficult to wash out of my hair also. It did a great job smoothing my damaged hair though so I would still highly recommend it for anyone with dry damaged hair.

I used this once a week and left on for the recommended 3 minutes. My hair definitely felt softer and silkier after using the mask, and I loved the smell too. This is definitely a great affordable mask to help repair the hair and I would recommend to anyone whose hair is in need of a bit of love. I feel along with the new shampoo and conditioner collections, herbal essences has really upped its hair care game.

I love that it only requires 5 minutes in your hair as opposed to other masks that can require up to 15. After using this hair mask my hair was left feeling extra smooth, silky and detangled, and soft to touch after drying my hair with a hair dryer. This usually lasts a day or 2 before going back to my usual frizzy texture. I used this mask in combination with the aloe shampoo and conditioner from the same range and unfortunately my hair got oilier faster than usual, requiring me to wash more often. However, I would still recommend this mask for someone looking for a quick, affordable option to hydrate and nourish their hair.

The great plus that I look for is a natural deep conditions - tick gently nourishes and cleanses hair - tick and not an crazy expensive deep conditioner - tick. It easily detangled my hard and the packaging is perfect for deep conditioners. Definitely recommended this for an everyday washing type of person - ie the wider family. This will defiantly become a stable in the grocery shop

I use it just after I've conditioned my hair or if I have the time I leave it on when I'm at home for a few hours and it leaves my hair feeling silky soft and hydrated! I'm super impressed by Herbal Essences new range and will continue to purchase their products in the future! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nourishing hair mask as it keeps your hair feeling light and bouncy and isn't going to break the bank!

I have tried a number of hair masks which has done nothing for it or if it’s made my hair soft it’s only been for one day! The herbal essences biorenew Argan oil hair mask has been a game changer, it has kept my hair soft for days! Now I’m not saying that it has magically repaired my damaged hair but it does feel like it keeps a level of protection on my hair to prevent further breakage! Really liking this product and will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a keen user of Herbal Essences products and hair masks for a while now, however I’ve never actually tried a Herbal Essences hair mask! I’ve been using this once or twice a week in replacement for my conditioner, rinsing it out each time. I found the scent to be lovely and the product was easy to use with simple instructions, making it convenient for someone who is time-poor and doesn’t want the mess of a leave-in hair treatment. I would suggest maybe including a spatula to make it easier to dispense the product - I felt a bit uneasy trying to scoop it with my fingers whilst in the shower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More of a conditioner than a mask I like to try new things especially when they are on sale so that if I don't like it I don't feel as bad about the price. I got this on sale for $9 from Chemist Warehouse. Half price. It's a hair mask that you apply after shampooing and I like to leave it on for around 5 or so minutes before rinsing. I find this to work more like a conditioner than a hair mask. It's not really repairing like it says it is but having said that I do find that it works to soften my hair and leaves my hair manageable. It has a nice smell to it which doesn't overly linger. And I also use about the same amount of it as I would with a conditioner. The tub is a bit awkward to use especially in the shower when my hands are wet and slippery and it's a bit bulky to store in my shower. Would much prefer if it came in a squeeze tube. Overall I do like it but it's not a mask. It's a conditioner in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice but textures weird [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i liked the smell alot, like alot alot. i tried using this mask for my curling plop and while it didn't do as good a job as the professional products - for those on a budget, it works well enough at setting curls. while it smelt AMAZING and felt great on i got a little bit hesitant to use it due to 1) the container feeling very cheap and definitely not what you'd expect for this price area and 2) the actual texture of the product itself was strange, not entirely sure how to describe it, but it felt a bit like the pasty glue you'd get in primary school that was semi solid and just felt kinda gross. other than that it was a good mask

I have been struggling with dry damaged and unmanageable hair and have absolutely loved trying this hair mask! It was super easy to use and apply. Just apply to mids and ends and comb through. You don’t need a large amount, a small dollop goes a long way which makes the product even more enticing, because it’s affordable. I have been using this as a trial product a few times a week for a couple of weeks and have been happy with the results so far. It also smells incredible.

I decided to have a pamper night at work do the full hair care routine, you know treat myself. I left the product on for around 5 mins whilst I continued to shower. Once I washed it off I did feel like my hair felt softer but I felt like I could have achieved the same results with just the shampoo and conditioner. I will use it when I feel like a pamper night but it won’t be a regular use

It is good value for money, however there were some negatives which is why I couldn't rate it any higher than a 3 stars. I found the texture a little strange and it really felt like it slipped off my hair rather that really absorbed into my hair. It also took a bit of time to really rinse it out and get the water clear. I found it sat quite heavy on my hair and weighed it down, so it would not be anything I recommend to anyone who had fine hair or was looking for more volume as I felt like it took a bit of volume away compared to my normal routine. Overall ok if on a budget but I believe there are better buys out there, even in this price range

I found this mask to be too heavy for my fine hair, although I did like the scent of the product. The PETA endorsement is fantastic but overall, I would prefer a lighter mask for my thin hair, as it often ends up looking weighed down with heavier products of this nature. I wouldn't recommend this product for people with fine or oily hair, but it could be more suitable for someone with thicker hair. I liked the scent the most out of this product - a somewhat caramel scent.

I’ve used it about three times along with the Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Shampoo and for Herbal Essences bio:renew Potent Aloe & Avocado Oil Nourishing Conditioner and they made my hair feel and smell lovely. These products work together very well. I love the packaging as well, it looks so fresh. I love that this range if free from silicones, and other nasties. I’ve tried one other shampoo & conditioner in their bio-renew range and I liked that as well, so I am keen to see what they come out with next.

Feels like there is some kind of artificial thickeners and it smells like an intensely sweet dessert. Not my type of scent but others might like it. The smell did stay in my hair for days and it wasn't very strong the next day. In terms of function I liked the conditioner better I don't feel this mask had much of a detangling effect. It worked like a normal conditioner and I didn't feel like it nourished my hair in any extraordinary way. My biggest put off was the artificial thickness masks do feel luxurious when they are thick but this one felt unnatural - and it clogged up my drain/didn't dissolve. I much prefer other drug store masks over this one. I usually mask my hair after a scrub but given how it didn't seem to nourish my hair more than a normal conditioner, I didn't want to risk it after a scrub for a second trial.

I’m unclear what it was meant to be, but it had vague coconut tones, but with that real chemical smell to it. Just awful. I loved the PETA endorsement, but questioned why they would. Upon closer inspection the ingredients there is nothing natural about it. I loved the idea that this is meant to be beautiful botanicals, like you’d find at the Botanical Gardens straight to your hair, but the execution left way too much to be desired. It was just awful!!! The mask was so gloopy and didn’t go on smooth. My hair felt so weighted down and blah afterwards I actually rinsed it off!!! It didn’t do anything to nourish my hair and repair it at all. I wouldn’t recommend this at all.
