Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Pantene Pro-V Nutrient Blends Sulphate-free Glossing Rescue shots alongside the shampoo and conditioner from this range for past few weeks. I was not impressed with the Shampoo and Conditioner however the glossing shot was a bit better. It does smell amazing and packaging is beautiful, I like that it comes in a pack. My hair started off feeling dry after using the shampoo and conditioner but this saved it a bit and left it feeling more hydrated. I would definitely recommend that you need to use this if you are purchasing this range because without it my hair would still feel straw like.

I am pretty diligent about the products I use on my hair because certain products can leave my hair dry or simply be ineffective. At the moment my hair is currently in "fair/good"condition. I like the packaging of this product because it is very easy to apply and can be brought away. You only need a small amount of this product to apply to your hair. However, I was expecting better results. It left my hair feeling okay. It was not noticeably more revived, just a little bit softer. For some reason I also felt like it didn't rinse well? I would recommend this product if you are purchasing hair oil from a supermarket, however I did not notice a difference in thelong term affects on my hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensive for amount of product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I paired the Glossing Rescue shots with the matching shampoo and conditioner, and also with the products I had been previously using. I found when used with the same name products it felt lovely to apply and left my hair feeling super soft. As my hair dried it went straw like, so I tested it with my previous shampoo and conditioner and found it worked much better. It smells lovely and has beautiful packaging. I found that one gloss shot lasted me 3 washes, which makes the value for money better considering the packed only come with three shots. I think this product works very similar to a leave sun hair mask as far as the results go, and would probably not re-purchase due to the fact that this expense would add up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Booster shot if your hair needs some lovin! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A good quick little treatment boost to do for your hair in the shower. I remember using Pantene shots years ago so it is nice to try the new range of Illuminating Colour Care products. You simply put the product in your hair after using the shampoo and conditioner, wait for a minute or so and wash the product out. While it smelt very nice and fruity/floral and hair felt soft and shiny I think it was a little heavy for my fine hair. Perhaps I don't need to use the whole shot and can use a little as needed and make it last longer. It's a good idea if you're into a bit of pampering or your hair needs some love but probably an unnecessary step plus the small bottles going to landfill. I Something I think I would get better results is using a leave in treatment/heat protectant etc when I have gotten out of the shower. I think there is only so much a conditioner/treatment on wet hair can do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the entire set together (shampoo, conditioner and treatment) and honestly this didn't do wonders for my hair but I think that's more an issue of compatibility with my hair type more than the actual product! The mix of oil/other ingredients was not my favourite but if you have thicker individual strands of hair I think it will work much better than with my hair (lots of thin strands). The scent was a lot in comparison to my regular products, but I think other people would like this a lot more if they like their hair products to be fragranced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rescue shots were a product that i have not tried before, even in other brands however I really liked them! They come in a three pack and you are to use one shot per use, however even with quite long hair I found I didn’t need to use the whole shot and could get two uses out of each one. So in terms of that, great value for money. In terms of the product itself and it’s purpose my hair did feel much smoother and nicer to touch, and was more manageable to style. I didn’t notice too much difference in terms of the vibrancy of colour but overall it appeared much healthier and silkier!

My hair has blonde streaks in it and can turn brassy if I don't use the right products for my hair. Prior to using it, I noticed this was happening and after using this product for a few washes I found my blonde was getting vibrant again. Pretty happy with the results and would try it again as it was easy to implement into my haircare routine even though it was one extra step to just shampoo and conditioner.

I was intrigued to try out the product due to its sulfate-free claim. The product has a florally smell, the same as the shampoo and the conditioner. I allowed the rescue shot to sit in my hair for a couple of minutes before rinsing out which left it feeling super soft. I would recommend the product especially for people who regularly colour their hair but am unsure if I will purchase this product for myself.

I did find this excellent for smoothing out the hair, and getting rid of any knots, after a rinse my hair was extremely easy to run my fingers through which is excellent when you have curly hair. It does add hydration but it's difficult to tell whether or not it does so any more than an average hydrating conditioner. It was difficult to ascertain and overall affect on brightness of my hair colour, despite having blond highlights - it probably didn't do much in that regard because you don't leave it on for very long (according to directions). I don't know if I'd see this as a necessary addition to my routine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product, wastefull packaging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really noticed a huge difference when using the Glossing Rescue Shot. My hair felt softer, smoother and a lot shinier - almost as if my blonde highlights had a sparkle to them. I am really impressed with the product - seems like a reasonable price for 3 treatments, but I would prefer just one big bottle so I could use everytime I washed my hair. I was really disappointed with the wastefulness of the packaging. Why have such substantial packaging for a one use product?! It is incredibly wastefull and contributing to unnecessary landfill (because often these things don't get recycled properly). If you must portion the product, why not in a much more eco friendly and economical sachet? I don't think people would think it was less premium if it was done tastefully and still came in a box. Or better yet, why not multiple uses in one container for consumers to portion themselves? In this day, all companies need to do better on being more sustainable and considerate of environmental impacts. For this reason, I will not buy this product again, even though what's inside the packaging works well.

I was definitely sceptical about trying this because I was worried what it will do to my hair. After using it I honestly found no difference, I guess maybe it felt a little bit softer but I don't really find it worth it to be honest. You get 3 tubes and I believe 1 per week so you would have to constantly keep buying and it's just not worth it for me. My hair is more oily than dry even though I have dyed hair, so maybe it suits hair that is more prone to dryness.

Initial thoughts were that the packaging is pretty and the product smells good. The rescue shot did not leave my hair glossy, instead making it look more dull than normal. It did not hydrate my hair at all or make it shinier. It gave a red-brown tint to my blonde balayaged hair and made it look one-dimensional. Personally, I would not purchase this product. It left my hair looking and feeling dull and dehydrated. On top of that, the price is ridiculous for the amount of product that you're getting.

I used the matching Pantene shampoo and conditioner prior to using these shots and whilst my hair felt soft I’m not sure these treatment shots actually did anything. They have a nice fresh scent, but my hair felt no different in using them or not, I would not purchase them in the future, and will stick to treatments that I have used before which I know benefit my hair!

However I didn't have very good results at all. I have long blonde highlighted hair that can be prone to frizz if products are not good for my hair. Unfortunately this range shampoo,conditioner and mask didn't do much for hair and actually made it worse. It left my hair hard to manage and style. When styling curls would no longer staying in my hair, normally that would stay in for days. When washing my hair did feel soft however upon drying it just was dry,straw like, constantly full of knots. I did get my hair done by my hair dresser of 5 years and she even mentioned something has change with my hair as it would normally be soft and shiny - my hair dresser described my hair like if I had been in chlorine every day. So Unfortunately this is not for my hair and it didn't work well for me.
