Directions

Retinol may cause initial redness, tingling or dryness. Your skin will need time to get used to this powerful ingredient. It is recommended to introduce it gradually.
WEEK 1: Apply one pea-sized pump 2 nights per week to face, avoiding the eyelids. Use an additional pea-sized pump for the neck and decolletage. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 the morning after to protect skin.
WEEK 2: Apply every other night.
WEEK 3: Apply nightly as tolerated.
Avoid intentional exposure to sun and artificial UV, as skin may be more sensitive. It is normal to experience some initial redness, tingling or dryness while using Retinol. If this happens, stop using it for a few days, then use less frequently. If severe irritation develops and lasts, discontinue use and talk to your doctor. Do not use on broken/irritated skin or on eyelids or lips. Do not use in conjunction with other Retinol products.

As it has retinol as one of its active ingredients, I was apprehensive about the effectiveness and also the strength- in particular if it was overly stripping on the skin. I followed the instructions closely, a three week guide of usage, and I saw results! The creamed gel comes out very hydrating and a little goes a long way. The cream dries quite quickly on the skin yet doesn’t feel tightening in a bad way. I honestly didn’t expect to see any. After using it for a bit over a week I noticed that my skin staring peeling, it wasn’t overly obvious, but I was aware of it. After a day or two, really smooth skin emerged and I felt like it was tightened and more lined free. People at work commented on my skin - saying it looked refreshed and asked what I was using. Sunscreen is definitely needed after use and it can cause your skin to be more sensitive to UV rays, but it wasn’t onerous as it was already part of my skincare routine. After the great feedback from people as well as the results I’ve seen, I can definitely recommend it and I see it as part of my beauty routine now.

It look very prestigious. I especially love the press pump - it is a simple and clean way of pumping out the right amount for each use. No more accidentally dropping the lid and cracking it! The cream has a beautiful light floral fragrance. The cream initially looks a bit thick for me, and I was worried it would be too thick or sticky. In fact, I found one pump was sufficient for my entire face (sometimes I use another half pump for the neck). The skin absorbed the cream very quickly and there was no sticky residue, which I love. After using it every night for 2 weeks, I feel my skin is smoother and softer. I haven't seen a change in firmness, I guess that would require a few more weeks of use. Overall, I love this product and would recommend it.

I have sensitive skin and was hoping when i put it on that it would not cause a reaction. This cream is so silky and smooth and i had no reaction at all. You wake up feeling so hydrated and smooth. The bottle has a single use pump which means you press down on the top and the right amount is dispensed for use. It is such a fantastic idea and stops wastage. It is not oily and does not leave a residue. The cream is very nice smelling and not too over powering. I found that this cream made my skin hydrated, the wrinkles finer and my skin more plump. I will be buying this again and defintely using as part of my skin care routine. It seems expensive at first but for the results you get it is well worth the money. I didnt think that a product like this would actually work. I have used similar products in the past and have reacted and they have not done anything to the skin that they should have as the packaging had said.

I really enjoy the measured pump dispenser. It dispenses the exact amount needed for application and takes the guess work out of it. The cream itself is rich and silky and glides on beautifully. My skin absorbs this nicely and it leaves skin hydrated all through the night. I enjoy that this includes niacinamide which helps to reduce irritation and helps to brighten the skin and eliminates the need to use two separate retinol and niacinamide products. I didn't experience any irritation whatsoever however I did notice the plumping and smoothing effects come into effect, especially in the third week of consistent nightly use. I use this cream on my face, neck and the backs of my hands and I noticed quite a dramatic effect especially in my rather neglected neck area. This is an excellent beginner level retinol cream that has gentle but effective ingredients and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! It's the perfect "One and done" anti aging night cream.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only been trialling this for almost two weeks, but I love it so far! Even though I’ve been using a retinol product nightly for some time (and my skin has tolerated it well), I’ve still been mindful to follow the instructions for this product, which is to gradually build up to nightly use. This is SO IMPORTANT! This is a much more potent product than what I’d been using and I could feel it after first use. For the first week it’s recommended to use this product twice a week, then the following week use every other night and by the third week use nightly (if it’s well tolerated). I’m almost through week two, so currently using it every second night. Week one I could see that my skin was looking brighter, thanks to the retinol/niacinamide duo. By week two I felt my skin was less congested than it was prior to this trial. I had a couple of hormonal acne spots that were on the mend but could still be felt below the surface. I no longer feel those spots at all. My skin has begun peeling this week, which I noticed after my second application this week, but now it appears the peeling is subsiding. Next week is my week to increase to nightly use and I feel on track for that. I’m looking forward to seeing how much more improvement this will bring to my skin. I’ve tried the L’Oreal Revitalift Laser retinol serum and I did like that, but this pressed cream is far superior, in my opinion. It has been so much more effective for me (thanks to the addition of niacinamide, surely) and I absolutely love the packaging on this cream! It easy to use and I really like that I get the perfect amount each time. This has been by far the best L’Oreal product I have ever used and I would say if you’re not a L’Oreal user and want to know which product would be the best one to try, this is it. I can see myself replacing this product once it’s empty. It’s really fantastic.

Specially at the mid price point. Smell is fine and feels right in the skin. It got quickly absorbed which for me is always a win and my skin seems to tolerate it really well. I can already see the skin in my face is starting to look younger and plump. I do like the feeling of slightly yet "I can feel it" firmer skin being now at mid 40s. I read that retinol should be worn year after year and I do think that in the long term, this cream could present substantial anti ageing signs improvement if worn consistently which I plan to do based on the experience I have had for the last 2 weeks. I did experience some peeling and purging when I first stared using it but it was only very mild and only lasted a few days I just used a very gentle moisturiser in the day. Once I got past that stage my skin looks and feel so much better than it did before. Some of my fine lines are a lot less noticeable than before and my overall skin texture and feel is 10x better. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who feels like their skin is aging it’s just as good as the more expensive brands I have tried and costs a lot less.

It offers anti-ageing benefits of retinol and barrier protection from Niacinamide all in a hygienic jar that dispenses the right dose each time to help you control the use of retinol in your skincare routine. It's at a pretty great price point for retinol, offers a competitive product compared to a lot of higher end retinols and from a brand known for its clinical efficacy and testing. To minimise irritation and sensitivity, I followed the instructions and used a pea sized amount twice every week and gradually built up from there. I also reduced my use of exfoliating acids before introducing this to my routine. Im happy to say I have experienced no burning or sensitivity and was pleasantly surprised at how hydrating and moisturising the night cream is. It's easy to forget its a retinol product. It feels comfortable, I wake up with moisturised skin and I love knowing I'm getting the benefits of retinol and Niacinamide plus hyaluronic acid. So far with consistent use I'm noticing no irritation(!) and a generalised even skin tone, however I'm most excited to see the benefits from continued use of retinol. Im so impressed with this product and I'm so glad I didn't get any of the adverse reactions that can come with retinol use. This is my most exciting skincare find for the year so far and my top pharmacy pick for retinol. I hope more brands follow suit with this packaging too - I'm not a fan of the dropper type serums.

Made in Germany. The cream comes in a beautiful and large 50ml, round dark blue jar with a clear cover. It is a bit different from other creams in that you press the top and the cream comes out from the middle in a single dose. As a result you have no wastage (only need a pea sized amount) and this system keeps the cream clean and hygienic. Due to the dark colouring of the bottle It is difficult to see how much cream is left. My skin looks more even toned and firmer after only a few weeks. Week one you only use this two nights per week but be sure to use a cream with SPF to protect the skin from burning as you will have more sun sensitive skin. Week two every other night week three every night as tolerated. Worth a try. Don't use on lips, eyelids or on broken/irritated skin.

I've been using this product for close to 3 weeks. I do have skin that's sensitive to certain ingredients (ie can't tolerate AHA's), so made sure I cautiously added the product to my skincare routine. The box instructs to start twice a week, moving onto bi-nightly, before, if your skin can tolerate it, a nightly routine. My skin tolerated the cream quite well, by following this recommended progress. I found moving to using it every 2nd night worked best for me, as nightly Retinol may have been too much for my sensitive skin. My skin feels soft, smooth, and very well hydrated. The cream has a luscious texture, and sinks in beautifully. The jar design is genius! I love being able to push down on the lid twice, and get the exact amount of product I need for my face and neck areas. While keeping the rest of the jar product pure and sealed off. I wish all face creams had this innovative design! Overall, this is a really good product. I'm very pleased that my sensitive skin can tolerate it readily and I can benefit from the cream on a regular basis minus any irritation. The jar design should be mandatory for all face creams - it's genius!

The cream has a beautiful consistency and pleasant odour. It glides easily onto my skin. I was surprised with instructions on how to introduce this to your beauty routine and skin. My first thoughts were that I LOVE the packaging, pushing the top down is a new and innovative design that gives you the exact amount of product required with no wastage and less air gets to the product compared to a usual jar. I've been using this product for around 2 weeks now and while I haven't seen any huge differences in my skin, I would say that it is slightly improving my skin tone and I am looking forward to continuing to use the product to see if I have any other benefits. Aside from that, it is great as just a night moisturizer, it is quite a thick texture and tingles just a little upon application. It has left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated and it looks great in the morning. The fragrance smells "perfumey" but it is subtle and pleasant and not overpowering. Overall, I haven't seen any drastic changes to my skin but I will keep using the product even if it's just as a moisturizer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Teneal K. from Great all in one product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great entry to retinol for those who haven't used it before, and an easy to use product for those who don't want multiple steps. The guidance to start with twice a week and work up is spot on, I got some slight irritation in the second week when I went up to 4 nights a week too early. The texture and scent are both lovely, it smooths on easily and absorbs well, with no need for a seperate moisturiser. Which is great if you don't want to do multiple steps in an evening routine. The pump pack ensures you only dispense the right amount, and keeps the product fresh. I could see some reduction in recent pigmentation although longer term pigment will need more time to trial, and may require a stronger product. I couldn't see a reduction in fine lines but I will continue to use it as my skin is liking it and as a fan of L'Oréal products I think this will work well.

It took a while for my parcel to arrive before I was able to use it properly and so have not had time to experience the full benefits before my review was due for submission. What I did enjoy about the product was the easy to use container which consistently dispenses an appropriate amount of cream each time. The cream applies with a smooth, creamy consistency and feels soft on the skin. Although it is a little thick, applying it as a night cream helps to give a more mask type feeling which seems to lock in the hydration. I was concerned about the fragrances in the product, as my skin often reacts to perfumed skincare, however I had no immediate reactions to the product. There was no increased redness or tingling which is often a side effect for me when using new products, which means I would more than likely choose to use this product more frequently.

Being an older lady I find some products very greasy on my skin even though my skin has become drier over time. It's hard to comment on the effectiveness of this product due to the short time frame. Though I can see a difference in my skin, seems healthier. I love the press dispenser idea as it gives you the right amount without contaminating the rest of the jar and the lid is easy to remove which is good for older hands. Using this product has made me realise the importance of sunscreen especially living in Queensland and spending most of my time outdoors.

What I have tried so far I have really enjoyed. The dispenser is quite fun and I managed to use the once press for both face and neck. the cream smells really nice and has a really lovely texture when you’re smoothing it onto your skin. It left my skin feeling really soft and lovely afterwards. I found that my skin did get a little sensitive to it once I was up to the using it every other/ every night but I think it might ease off after further use and there was no redness or other indicators to say my skin didn’t like it. I will definitely continue with the product.

I have only tried this product for a couple of weeks so no true results obvious as yet. As recommended on the directions, it is best to start off with this product slowly ie a couple of nights per week to ensure your skin gets used to the product. I love the press down measured dose container which makes it very easy to use and keeps it hygienic. The cream feels lovely on the skin and I am looking forward to seeing improved results as I continue to use it over the coming weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alana S. from A little bit fancy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I haven't used it for long, this is a great all-round night cream that I'm also using during the day; the formula is a gel-cream and spreads very easily on the skin and absorbs easily, too. It's a light yellow colour, which reminds me of lemon tart (in a good way), and and it's just really lovely to use. To be honest, it's too early to say whether this moisteriser has made a particular change to my skin, but I'lm going to continue to use it (I'm using it during the day, too, as it's light enough for day use).

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kim H. from Another high quality product from L'Oreal [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recommend the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream for people who like to use products that have retinol or niacinimide as an ingredient. The cream comes in a lovely little tub that is a deep blue with the red 'Revitalift' branding on it. It has a clip on lid and instead of being a pump bottle, it is a jar with a function that lets you press the top to push a small amount of cream out. I only used this product for 2 weeks of an evening, but can see a small improvement in my skin tone and fine lines so I am eager to see any visible difference after I continue to use it. The night cream is light and absorbed into my skin well - it felt really lovely on my skin at bedtime. At $59.95 it is good value as a little goes a long way with this product and I only needed 2 small pumps to cover my face and neck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BEAUTY/Crew Staff Review: BC's Tamara C I was lucky enough to try the L’Oreal Revitalift Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream and I have to say that I did see some improvement after 3-4 weeks of usage. This pressed cream contains Retinol + Niacinamide, and as I can often have sensitive skin I wanted to be sure that I wouldn't have any issues, so I conditioned my skin to be able to tolerate the product by using it a couple of times in the first week, every 2-3 days in the second and then about 4 nights a week after that; which worked really well. The cream comes in a pressed cream tub, where you simply press down around the rim, causing the cream to eject from the top - this is great product packaging because not only is it more hygienic (I can live without stick in my dirty fingers into my cream) but it also dispenses the perfect amount of cream. My skin looks more nourished, and my skin tone is more even.

I also like the easy use of accessing the product through a pump because it gives me a better idea of how much product to use. I have a sensitive dry and oily skin combination and I wasn’t sure how my skin will react to this product. The product was really gentle on my skin and had a pleasant smell. The product is light and was smooth and easy to apply on my face and neck. I woke up with hydrated, smooth, and tight skin, however I found a couple of spots on my face that looked a bit dry. In saying that, I still want to continue to use it because I feel like it really helped with the tightening of my skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Adrianna S. from So far so good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Retinol + Niacinamide Pressed Night Cream is one of the first retinols I have ever tried. I did exactly as was instructed on the box about using it slowly at the start and building your tolerance to it after a couple of weeks. Small amount of fragrance can be noticed but does disappear within the first minute of applying. I have noticed that my skin is reasonably more plump in the morning, though I think to notice any difference to fine lines, dark spots, and scarring will have to be used over a longer period of time. I have sensitive dry skin, and I have not noticed any reactive symptoms using the cream, which is a wonderful sign. I look forward to seeing if there's any noticeable differences after a longer time using the cream. Shout out to the packaging! I don't have to stick my fingers and nails in the cream and unhygienically contaminate the whole pot!
