Directions

Step 1: Wiggle the mascara wand through your lashes from base to tip, lifting lashes as you go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great natural mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this mascara to be quite natural looking and light weight. The brush was nice and thin and the product had a neutral smell which was good. It didn’t smudge or move and it’s a great mascara if you wanted a more light makeup look. I didn’t find it that volumising although it wasn’t clumpy at all and didn’t give the look of spiders legs to the lashes. Would I purchase this mascara? Probably not as I prefer thicker lashes. I would recommend this mascara to someone who likes a no makeup look or for teens to wear to school.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Natural look Mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that Rimmel London has made a cruelty-free mascara. I love their product range due to its variety and affordability. The mascara is black and is made from Shea butter and Biotin which does not irritate the eyes. I love this because my eyes are sensitive. The mascara also goes on smooth and does not clump. It is lightweight and provides the right amount of coverage I need to enhance my lashes for a natural day time look. If you are after a mascara that will provide length and volume then this is not the mascara for you as I did not get any even after a several coats. The brush has a slighly curved design which makes it easy to apply and coat all your lashes. Basically this mascara is great if you want a natural look that will last you all day and comes off easily.

The brush size is perfect and it allows for each lash to be coated. The brush is slightly curved so there fore lifts and curls lashes as well. It makes them appear even longer and eye popping. The mascara itself feels very smooth and not to heavy. My only fault is that when the brush is removed from the bottle, it is quite clumpy. However once applied and spread through, lashes do not appear to pick and heavy. Instead the look is quite light and airy. Very beautiful and natural look!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wouldn't buy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't a fan of this mascara. The packaging is quite plain. When I opened the tube the smell of chemicals was very strong. It applied to the lashes ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to use it again. It wasn't hard to get off when taking my makeup off, but it did stay black under my eyes for a while. I did however really like that it was vegan and I did really like the application wand. I think I was use the wand just with a different mascara. I wouldn't recommend Rimmel London Kind & Free Mascara to any of my family or friends, which is disappointing as I love so many of their products for my daily makeup routine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Natural no nonsense mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who short, sparse lashes, this mascara did nothing for me. The tube is nice and sleek but the writing is a bit overwhelming. The brush is a nice standard long natural bristle wand with a tapered end that does a nice job coating all the lashes and getting into the inner corner. The formula is light and wet, but dries quickly and I haven’t had any issues with flaking or smudging. It provides a little length and definition but there is no drama. The formulation isn’t clumpy but doesn’t build up much either. I recommend this for anyone who wants a natural mascara that will tint the lashes but don’t expect much more than that!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A very natural and subtle mascara [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the packaging does like a bit cheap to me. In terms of the design of the packaging, there's quite a lot of wording. I think it would look better and less cluttered if some of the wording could be removed. It does appear to have an excess amount of text on the tube. In terms of the product, the brush is straight with the bristles on the shorter side. It did give a very subtle and natural finish, more of a 'pop to the shops' look as another reviewer mentioned. It wasn't very volumising unfortunately. I do think this mascara is better suited to shorter lashes, as I struggled to swipe the mascara wand the entire length of my lashes. I do really like that this product is vegan and cruelty free, and I didn't notice any smudging either. All in all, it's a good starting point in this range, but I do think a different style of brush would really improve this product. It's always great to see larger brands taking a cruelty free approach to beauty!
