Directions

Coat the lashes from root to tip using a slight wiggle motion to separate, add volume and definition. Repeat as desired.

It is a great addition to the Nude by Nature line. It gives great length and volume after two coats, and doesn't give that fake clumpy spidery look that so many others do. I love that it didn't flake or clump the lashes, but I did notice some smudging by the end of the day (which is not uncommon for my hooded and oily lids.) I love how accessible this mascara is. I can pick one up when I buy my supplements at chemist warehouse. I now want to try more of the Nude by Nature range.

Feels like a more high end style of wand , very fluffy and big brush. The black colour is deep dark and very opaque. Feels nice and nourishing when applying and builds well on natural lashes. Wouldn't recommend if wearing eyelash extensions, the oils will eat away at the glue. Wears well if you set around your eyes with setting powder. I do however have eyelids on the more oily side and it does transfer if not set correctly. Other than that gives great volume and would differently use again and again. New fav.

Although it's nothing amazing, it's great for the price and definitely compares to other drug store mascaras that I've used in the past. The packaging is extremely high-end, it opens up smoothly, the bristles on the applicator deliver for easy application and allow me to get super close to my lash line. Although it doesn't advertise to do so, it doesn't add much length to my lashes, so I need to apply a few coats to get to my desired length. I love how dark this mascara is and it coats my blond lashes perfectly. It's long-lasting and doesn't come off easly.

Very similar to the too faced better than sexy except it added more length. After two weeks the consistency went a bit too thick and created lumps on the lashes but that is expected with a mascara which adds so much fullness. The mascara applicator seemed like it was designed in a poor way that led to more clumps. It helps my lashes look amazing on a night out without false lashes. I would recommend this mascara to those who like a full glam look and are able to repurchase mascara every few weeks. I would prefer this mascara if I could purchase it in a mini size hence making more sense when I have to buy it more frequently.

It lifts your lashes and gives so much volume, but doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes. The product lasts all day. My job requires me to do a lot of running around and I have no issues of smudging. I generally only apply two coats for a full lash effect, anymore and your lashes will start to clump together. The only downside of this product is the brush size is quite large which can make for a messy application.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Leonie C. from Not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love mascara and I particularly like trying new formulas so I was eager to try the Nude by Nature Absolute Volumising Mascara which I recently received to trial. I received 01 Black and this also comes in 02 Brown. I’ve been buying brown mascara whenever possible so it was a shame I didn’t have a choice of shade. Everything about this mascara is big. The lovely rose gold casing is huge compared to the dozens of other mascara I’ve used, the wand is very long and the brush is big without too much variation in the bristles. To be honest, I struggled to get this mascara to apply to my satisfaction. The formula is very wet so I can’t get an even coating and my lashes stick together. I like a mascara to evenly coat and separate my lashes in one or two swipes but this just does not happen for me. I’ve tried to work out a good application method but I think the formula is too wet and takes too long to dry and the brush is just too big to control properly. When I hold up the brush I can see lumps of mascara on it and these tend to stick to my lashes and won’t wipe away. I can get away with the mascara applied to my top lashes even though they don’t look clean and fresh but it’s impossible to do my bottom lashes. I end up with a spidery mess which flakes and leaves dark smudges. I have to use a different mascara altogether on my bottom lashes which are quite long and fine. So, for me, this mascara is disappointing to say the least. I’ll persevere to find a way to get the application right but in the meantime I use it on the days when I’m at home. I recommend that you try it for yourself to form your own opinion.

To me, Nude by Nature is one of the high end feel with (mostly) affordable price tags kind of brand. For reference, my holy grail mascara is the Urban Decay Lash Freak mascara so this had some really high standards to live up to in order to get 5 stars from me. Unfortunately, it didn't quite get there, however, I don't dislike this mascara. There are some specific aspects that makes a good mascara for me, this being the look of the lashes (is it clumpy/barely there/spidery etc.) and the fallout or smudge. I found that this mascara results in quite a bit of smudging around my bottom lashes (I only had it on my top lashes) and some fallout. I loved the way that the mascara looked, and it definitely provided volume, however, does not come close to the Lash Freak mascara from Urban Decay. I would definitely wear this one on a day where I'm going for a more no-makeup look.

I am not much of a mascara wearer as I hate getting panda eyes and I don’t like rubbing my eyes so much to remove makeup. So I have worn this mascara I think about 10 times since I received it and I was pleasantly surprised will it. It came off very easy but stayed out all day. The wand it quite big and fluffy and separated and coated my lashes beautifully without leaving them clumpy which I absolutely hate with any mascara. The formula is thick and the amount of product you get is very impressive. I would definitely highly recommend it is definitely a great product!

The mascara applies so smoothly, with no lumps or clumps on your top or bottom lash line. It gives a very flattering look to the eye line, and can be adapted to fit a dramatic look or a more natural look. The packaging is sleek and attractive and it comes in a large size to last. This mascara beats out any other equivalent on price point by a mile. It’s an impressive product which I will be continuing to buy in future. Highly recommend for anyone who has thin, light lashes, particularly if you’re used to getting extensions. This is the more cost efficient last extension!

So I was very excited to try their mascara. The packaging is very eye catching. It makes it look expensive without the high price tag. The mascara was easy to apply. I do like a quiet full lash so I applied a few coats. As I was doing the second coat it did become a little clumpy. I kept it on and throughout the day it left a dark residue around my eyes by the end of the day. It was a little smudged. I tried the mascara the next day with just 1 layer. This was significantly better but I was slight disappointed as it says you can build it up as you desire. If you like a light cover mascara then this is definitely for you.

The product itself looks great on a surface level. The packaging is luxe and gives the impression of an expensive mascara however the mascara itself was not fantastic. I will admit, it does volumise the lashes however I was not a fan of the brush style or the texture of the mascara itself. It was quite matte and I found it hard to apply without it clumping my lashes together. As a red head, my eyelashes are naturally very pale and I have a hard time finding mascaras that apply cleanly to my bottom lashes in particular without them looking heavy, clumpy and over the top. I found it impossible to achieve the look I was after on my bottom lashes using this product and could only really use it on my top lashes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I found out this new Nude By Nature mascara promised to be a clean, non-irritating, natural formula that provides intense volume, I was immediately intrigued! A lot of the volumising mascaras on the market can easily flake off in clumps throughout the day, irritating the eyes with their synthetic pigments and ingredients. This one promises the volume sans the nasties, but does it really live up to the claims? Hmm... In short, I'm 50-50 on this mascara. Upon initial application, I was really impressed by the lift and dark colour it gave my lashes, however once I began building the layers (which I normally like to do with my go-to mascaras), it clumped my lashes together terribly. Also the formula is quite wet and no matter how I apply it, it transfers onto my eyelids and lash line when I work the brush into the roots of my lashes. The brush itself is a nice shape and size though (packaged in a very luxe container, might I add) and with one swipe, it does coat the lashes well. In terms of volume...it adds some thickness but not the fluffy, wispy volume I personally go for. I like to have a lot of lashes and volume, but this one sticks lashes together due to the wetter formula, giving a bit of a sparse look in areas. Although the application and look the mascara gives my lashes are not my personal preference, I will say that the wear time is great (no flaking to report!) and the removal of the product was fantastic. My usual volumising mascaras are difficult to remove so I appreciated the ease with this one. And of course, it's 100% non-irritating which is a big selling point for this mascara. Overall this mascara just didn't work for me based on my personal preferences, however if you're looking for a clean, non-irritating formula that's also vegan and cruelty-free, this could be a good one to try out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rem55 from Smudges and clumps Smudgy and clumpy. Smudged all over my eyelids and looked really clumpy after a second coat. Doesn’t volumise either they are the same length just clumpy. Really disappointed as this was an attempt to boost self confidence postpartum.
