I had accidentally given myself some burn/irritation thanks to a liquid exfoliant and this moisturiser was not only hydrating and quickly absorbed it was so soothing on the areas that were irritated. I found my skin feels slightly tacky after I put it on but it doesn’t disrupt or settle any products I pop on top afterwards which I thought it might.

Love the idea of the pump packaging and how it protects the product. Only downside is the slightly chemically smell, although this seems to be consistent across the range.

This is a light weight moisturiser and suits well for my oily skin. I sometimes also mix this with half a pump of foundation and spf to have an even and natural effect.

It has mixed well with the other products I am using, which is great, because sometimes things can react with eachother and cause it to ball up. Its a nice everyday moisturiser. I like the airfree style pump.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Although not sensitive, my skin is quite acne prone so I do put some thought into what moisturiser I use. I found this to be really hydrating without causing any breakouts. I didn’t feel any sensitivity which is normal but also a good sign as some specialised moisturisers can have heavy duty ingredients. It sat quite well under makeup and I do think I will continue to use this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really enjoyed this day cream - it wasn't too heavy, and felt dreamy going on my combination skin. My skin felt calm, soothed, but not oily to bring on any breakouts. Loved the packaging/pump leaving no mess and no waste. Of course I had to pair it with a sunscreen, as this doesn't include - my only gripe with the product. Well worth giving a try - no matter what your skin type!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have a VERY sensitive skin so trying new products can always be a bit of hit or miss.\nUnfortunately I was very prone to allergies when using the product and while my skin is combination, some areas were very dehydrated.\nToleriane Ultra Light has a lovely texture that penetrates the skin easily, without giving you with a feeling that you have applied something too rich on your skin. However in saying that, in spite of using this every day in conjunction to the night cream, I am afraid it has not solved my dehydration issue.\nNot quite for me but definitely worth the try!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My skin has become sensitive and I have had peri-oral dermatitis, but is still combination to oily.  I had struggled to find a good daily moisturiser that wasn't irritating and didn't make my skin oily - until now.  This light weight moisturising fluid provided my skin the hydration it needed whilst keeping it calm.  I use an SPF every day so still needed to use one on top of this, meaning I needed to allow a little longer in my routine to have each product dry.  My skin did still get oily toward the end of the day, but I didn't find my make up separating like with most moisturisers.\nIf this contained SPF it would be brilliant, but I will keep using this along with and SPF until then.\n

I normally use a water-based gel moisturiser as I don't like the feeling of creams but this cream-based moisturiser was lovely to use and left my skin feeling hydrated all day. It soaked into my skin quickly and wasn't heavy. I have extremely sensitive skin and had no irritation from this product. I would definitely recommend this for people with sensitive skin.\n

I've got combination skin so some days my skin is more dry and other days its more oily, I have used a vast variety of different moisturisers in search of the best to suit my skin and I'd rate this a 4/5. The cream itself is very hydrating, keeps the skin supple and soft all day but the formula makes the cream to be very "tacky" and "sticky" on the face which makes it difficult in using this as any starting base for my make up. My powder foundation doesn't blend into the face as well and becomes separated and blotchy. I recommend only using these on make up free days

My skin is feeling nourished and hydrated, the smell is pleasant, product is no greasy on application.  I would recommend this product. Definitely has become a favourite product.

The Ultra light day cream is perfect to apply in the morning under makeup and absorbs quickly while still providing continued hydration throughout the day. The bottle size is perfect for travelling and a few pumps goes along way.

I used this with La Roche-Posay 50 SPF fluid and felt through the day it was not too oily. Overall I would recommend and continue to use this product.

The only downside is that after applying make up the skin does look a little shiny. Great packaging slimline bottle with dispenser that is easy to use. Would recommend this to anyone with sensitive easily irritated skin.\n

Despite being light it did seem to leave my face a little oily by the end of the day. I wasn’t so impressed that I would add it to my normal regime but it was a nice treat to try it for a few weeks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is soft and lightweight moisturiser. It is hydrating and I found after a few weeks use that my dry patches had virtually disappeared. I do wish it had SPF included so I didn't have wear sunscreen on top. The smell was fine. I didn't get any reaction or sensitivity which was great. I did find that my skin got quite oily in the afternoon - which hasn't happened previously with my other moisturisers. I'm not sure if I will purchase again but I would recommend for those have normal oil levels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Light is a minimalist light day time moisturiser for ultra-sensitive, combination, oily, acne prone or allergenic skin. I have oily skin and this moisturiser is lightweight, with afresh and non greasy finish. I like a non-fragrant moisturiser and this one ticks the box of being fragrance free with no irritation to my skin. Due to my acne scars, I have a few red spots on my face and after using the LaRoche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Light moisturiser, I noticed a reduction in redness in my scars and an overall even skin tone. My skin looks and feels healthier and the moisturiser is good for under make-up, it absorbs into the skin quickly due to the light weight texture of the cream and a little of the product goes along way. The lockable packaging pumps out the perfect amount. Overall, the LaRoche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Light moisturiser is a great cream but I would've liked it to have some sort of SPF incorporated in it. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle and Soothing I have normal to dry skin and don't suffer from any particular sensitivity issues but it's always nice to use something that is gentle on skin after using AHAs. It is packaged in a transparent airless pump so you can see how much product is left. The pump is a twist nozzle so you can twist it close for travelling. It is a slim 40ml tube and lightweight so makes it an even better travelling partner. The moisturiser is a lightweight thin consistency, however feels very moisturising on the skin when applied. 2 small pumps goes such a long way, it's amazing how little product you do use and is easily absorbed into the skin. It doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin which is a plus. There is no fragrance to the moisturiser either. It really is a great product for sensitive skin or those who like their moisturisers fragrance free and light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BH Beauty Degustation After a short skin consultation at the Degustation, I was given this product to try out for my sensitive combination skin. I pretty much can't use any facial moisturisers because I react to them so I found myself sceptical that this cream would be any different. I was impressed to find that it didn't make my skin burn at all and did a nice job of hydrating my skin. This is because it's specially designed for sensitive skin - it has a stripped down formula with no unnecessary or irritating ingredients like alcohol and fragrance, and is made with thermal spring water from the town of La Roche-Posay. The only problem I have with it is that it makes my face quite shiny, like I've just used sunscreen. I was also given the 'Toleriane Ultra Light' version to try (which hasn't yet come out in the Australian market) as it's more suited to combination and oily skin so eventually I'll give that a go to see if it has a more matte formula. I really enjoyed the skin consultation and explanation of La Roche-Posay products as the consultants were well-informed and knowledgeable about their products and dermatology. I highly recommend the brand if you have sensitive or allergic skin, or if you like your skincare to be simpler with a smaller ingredients list. I also highly recommend this product for sensitive skin especially if it's normal or slightly dry.

It obviously seeps up into the eye area. Such a shame because it's a lovely cream and I love the small, convenient bottle - great for travel.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This light-feeling moisturiser comes in a airless pump, formulated for sensitive skin. I found this lotion really hydrating for my dehydrated skin and could even some days just use this product and parts near my mouth didn't even feel tight, which is usually impossible for my oily-dehydrated skin! It is easy to apply, quick to absorb and dries with no shine or tackiness. It's great that this can also be used on the eye area as well.  However, prior and during this trial, my skin was extremely congested and I kept breaking out. I can't tell if this product was making things worse or not doing anything... I would recommend this product if you have dry or dehydrated skin, but may need to take care if your skin is already congested or breakout prone

But when using without makeup, it hydrated my skin perfectly and I had no problems. I love the fact it also has no fragrance which usually sets my allergies off.\n

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I do have oily skin which has almost constant hormonal acne in my chin and jaw area. Some moisturisers aren’t suited to acne and can indeed cause more inflammation or aggravation. So I need a light moisturiser that’s absorbs easily, doesn’t leave a residue, one that hydrates but doesn’t flare up my acne. I enjoyed using this moisturiser but it didn’t tick all the boxes. Creating something that hydrates the skin, without causing irritation in those with sensitive skin, all the while working in harmony with acne prone skin can be a big feat I understand. While the moisturiser provodeda good dose of moisturisation for my skin and didn’t flare aggravate my acne, I felt like it did leave my skin with a little more shine at the end of the day than what I like. It did feel slightly tacky after application which is usually something that gets on my nerves given my very oily skin. This moisturiser also doesn’t have SPF, I suspect due to targeting those with sensitive skin, but it does mean using an extra step in your morning routine to provide sun protection. I feel like this would be a good moisturiser for those with drier skin, and clear of acne.

The pump is easy to use, and keeps the product clean in the bottle. \n\nCON:  It does not have SPF, which is something I look for in daytime moisturisers. Because I have to use another sunscreen, using this moisturiser alone isn't very convenient, and doesn't suit my lifestyle.\n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I am pretty disappointed that I am giving this product 3 stores for this review. \n\nI have been lucky enough to review quite a few products now through Beauty Crew, but I was especially excited to try this and the Toleriane Ultra Overnight lotion and the cleanser from La Roche-Posay. I am a fan of the brand - the Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ sunscreen is in my top 3 facial sunscreens and their Thermal Water is a work desk staple. \n\nI haven't changed up my cleanser and moisturiser in my skincare routine (for day and night) for a while but I always like trying new products. I wasn't worried about trying these products as I understand that their ingredients are relatively gentle so I wasn't worried about introducing these new products into my routine. Unfortunately, one of these/a combination of/all of these products were not good to my skin. I started to get a couple of pimples on my chin and a few closed comedones started to pop up where my pores are on both sides of my nose. I wasn't happy. \n\nI stopped using them for a couple of days and got rid of the pimples and comedones with my normal treatment products. After my skin calmed down, I reintroduced one of the products back into the routine at a time to see if it was indeed those products and unfortunately, the same results occurred. \n\nI appreciated that there wasn't a strong scent with the product, the packaging was nice and it felt gentle on the skin but I won't continue to use them. \n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Having a background in Beauty Therapy helped me to quickly realise that I have super sensitive skin, there’s are many products that I simply cant use because my skin reacts (becomes reddened and hot to touch).  Saying all that I found this product very light and indeed hydrating whilst soothing my skin however wearing it under my makeup it made my foundation feel ‘tacky’ even with a powder over the top to set the foundation.  It is almost as if the product sits on the skin and doesn’t absorb.  On the days where I did not wear makeup, I discovered that at the end of the day my face was more so shiney and oily than my regular day moisturiser.  I did thoroughly enjoy being given the opportunity to review these products that I wouldn’t normally purchase however sadly I found that this moisturiser did not work for my skin type, and the fact that it does not contain a SPF+ upset me a little.\n

It was literally the only thing i could put on my rosacea, acne prone skin without irritation and breakouts. Within a day i had multiple large zits..i noticed the packaging looked different..i thought "what now?". How very truly disappointing. Why fix what was not broken!

I started feel this moisturiser doesn’t work on my skin anymore since few months ago. Its abit sticky and not sure if the new formula is very comedogenic? But i stop using it now since it doesn’t work like before anymore :( very sad becoz Its so hard for me to find suitable moisturiser for my rosacea
