Rated 4 out of 5 by from The power of vitamin c [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really joined using this moisturiser,I enjoyed the packaging of the product it was easy to open and a generous amount of product. I prefer jar products as you can use the whole amount of product and you can wash out reuse the jar one the product is finished. The one thing I feel could be improved upon on packaging was having a spatula included to dispense product hygienically. The cream itself has a lovely light citrusy fragrance, it wasn't annoying and disappeared quickly after application. I love the consistency of this product it's gel cream was a thicker cream but when applied on skin it didn't feel thick at all. It has a lovely cooling feeling when applied to the skin, is non greasy and has a slip to it which makes application easy and you don't need to use heaps. It absorbs quickly into the skin and it feels hydrated without the heavy feeling. I love vitamin c and niacinamide and was so pleased this power duo was in one product, it was non irritating to my rosacea and didn't cause any redness. I felt my skin became instantly more hydrated using the moisturiser. Over the course of a couple of weeks I felt my skin looked brighter and more even in tone. Fabulous product highly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hydrating , gentle [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very basic face cream. Scent of orange candy, I personally liked it and enjoyed (love sweets). Faint and did not linger too long. Texture of the cream is very light. I used it for about a month. Do not notice difference in my skin after I wash the face and have no skincare on. Do like that it hydrates the skin and keeps it healthy. Did not notice any brightening (too short period of time to see this, needs few months for pigmentation to start fading). My skin is combo to oily prone to dehydration and found this cream very suitable. Skin feels soft and smooth to touch. Did not notice worsening in texture after stopping usage of my regular skincare that exfoliates and smooths the skin. So this is a good sign. Usually my skin would get rough with clogged pores and whiteheads . This cream kept skin smooth and hydrated. Safe and great to use on the eye area too, all close to lash line as well. I need it there the most to keep the thin eye area plumped and hydrated. This product is gentle and works well for that purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lush evening moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this moisturiser daily for a few weeks and have noticed an improvement in my skin. I started off using it morning and night, but found it too heavy to use in the morning for my oily skin. It's been a lovely product for the evening though and feels super moisturising. The cream itself is light and absorbs into the skin quickly. It plays well with other products in my routine and leaves my skin looking glowy and plump. Over time, I think it has made my skin look overall brighter, with some fading of acne scars. While I would just stick to it as an evening moisturiser in summer, come winter it could also be a good choice for morning use as well. I'd recommend this as an effective moisturiser and accessible way to incorporate vitamin C into your daily routine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would recommend [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have enjoyed using the Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Vitamin C Moisturiser, found the texture very hydrating and left my skin feeling soft. I really like that it has the Niacinamide in the moisturiser as previously I've been having to use 2 separate products so makes it one less step in my skin care regime. I can see my skin is appearing slightly brighter, I think with continued use it will be able to show more. I don't tend to use products with fragrance however found the smell pleasant and not overbearing. If I was using this product as a day and night moisturiser it would be great to have had some SPF in it but not a deal breaker as I apply an SPF separately anyway.

Having had some major hormonal breakouts lately, I have a fair bit of redness around my chin and jaw. This moisturiser has really helped eliminate the redness fairly quickly and while some pigment still remains, it’s definitely headed in the right direction. I love that this cream makes my skin look bright, glowy and healthy. I do find my skin quite slick to the touch for pretty much the whole day after I’ve applied, so I like to wear this on days that I’m at home, not wearing any makeup. The texture of this moisturiser is like a gel cream. The smell is pleasant (kind of fruity) and it’s a good value for money moisturiser with two fantastic skincare must-have ingredients.

The moisturiser is a really light texture and it absorbs really quickly. It is fragranced and smells absolutely delicious, but I did find the smell a bit too strong when I applied it at night time before bed because it seemed to linger. I used this moisturiser for a few weeks, and can see the difference in my skin. My skin is smoother, looks brighter and is FAR more hydrated. Really, its a great product, and the only thing I can fault is the fragrance being a little strong which is a personal preference. I will definitely continue to use this one as a daytime moisturiser though, because it was great to see results.

I love the fragrance and it left my face looking dewy. A little goes a long way. It’s a good all-purpose moisturiser, however I felt it’s not heavy enough for a night cream and lacks the SPF I usually seek in a day cream. I felt that it left my face too slippery when applied over my evening serum, and adding SPF on top during the day made me fee like I was just pushing the creams around my face rather than them being absorbed. It’s a great moisturiser to have in my arsenal for days when I’m going to be inside, or if I need something more lightweight for sleeping. It did also leave my skin brighter after the two weeks. I may try mixing it with SPF prior to application to see if that works better

Firstly the fragrance is a bit too strong for my liking, strong smell of citrus fruits which I usually like. This fragrance is too strong. The cream itself made my skin feel oily and heaving at first, I started to use alot less on each application. My skin felt slightly better however still slightly oily, unfortunately I wouldn’t use on days I wear make up however would use at night. My skin definitely feels more hydrated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great entry level product I enjoyed using the Olay Luminous Niacinamide + Vitamin C moisturiser. The packaging, though beautiful, could have been more hygienic. Whilst I enjoyed the ingredients in this moisturiser, I found it too left me with too much shine. I generally have combination/oily skin depending on the day and I just didn’t find myself reaching for this product too often because of that reason. I think it would be best suited to someone who is starting out in skincare and who has dry/normal skin. The product was also fragranced, which could be sensitising to some users, and is something to bear in mind for those with sensitive skin or who are otherwise averse to fragrance in skincare.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OLAY LUMINOUS [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to receive the Olay Luminous Niacinimide and Vitamin C moisturiser in the mail a few weeks ago. I quickly Incorporated the new moisturiser into my skin routine. I Applied in the morning after cleansing my face and using my serums. The Play Moisturiser is a thin consistency which is white in colour. It's light weight and non greasy. It rubs in well and I am able to apply makeup afterwards without it looking shiny or greasy. It does Feels nice on my face. However there are a few things I have noticed while trialling this moisturiser, I do feel as if my makeup doesn't stay on as long as it would with my normal moisturiser. I have also experienced a small breakout after using for a couple of days. I am still trying to control the breakout a few weeks later. Unfortunately I Haven't seen much of a difference yet but have only used it for 3 weeks. I Will keep using and hope to see a difference to my skin tone. Bit expensive for a normal moisturiser. I would recommend if you are looking for a change in your skincare. I wouldn't go out of my way to incorporate it in, if you already have a well established skincare routine that works for you

The cream is more of a gel-hybrid type feeling with a coconut smell and tacky texture. I was hoping for the typical creamy moisturiser feel. After applying a pea size amount to my face then one to my neck/dec, it rubs in quite well but then is sticky for a while. I found the best results next morning was to apply a serum before the cream and my skin felt very bouncy and soft!! Unlike the niacinamide + vit c serum, I have not seen results with this in the last 2-3 weeks - no reduction in pigmentation, no increased glow and no increase in hydration.

It is a citrus scented , silky light weight cream which melts into my skin and leaves no greasy residue and even non- clogging. Instantly it gives a refreshing feeling and it is indeed a good hydrating moisturiser which can be easily added to one's skincare routine. Love its beautiful scent and creamy texture and best way to Pamper oneself at home on daily basis. Though price wise as it is just a moisturiser I found it pricey.. Highly recommended

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Facial moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging of this moisturiser. It comes in a shiny, silver box and it looks very luxe. It is very eye catching. The jar of the cream itself is also very shiny. The jar gives me the impression that the moisturiser is whipped or lightly beaten so I am expecting the cream to be fluffy and airy in texture. The cream does feel light in texture, however, when I do apply it on my skin, it does feel really hydrating and moisturising on my skin. I love the fragrance of the moisturiser, it is really lovely and it is not at all too strong. After applying it on my skin, I find my skin feels brighter, moisturised and better. I look less tired and dull which is great because I also look a bit younger. I feel the size of the jar is quite big for the product so I am assuming the bigger jar size is to protect the cream itself. I find the moisturiser not quite moisturising enough and I definitely need to use a facial oil or a facial serum beforehand so that my skin is comfortable afterwards.

The packaging is nice and sturdy, however I wonder if this packaging is appropriate for a Vitamin C product, as the Vitamin C can degrade quicker in jar type packaging. Additionally, the percentage of Vitamin C is not listed which makes me believe it’s minimal. The jar size is generous and I imagine this product would last a long while as only a small amount is required with each use. The cream is nice to the touch, not too thick or thin. It spreads nicely over the skin and dries down quickly, however my skin was left with a slight tacky, heavy feeling afterwards which I found hot and slightly uncomfortable. This may work as a base for foundation. After using for a number of weeks, I did not see any of the Vitamin C benefits. It’s a product suited for someone new to skin care who wants a simple, fuss free cream.

The lightweight texture is a big win, the moisturiser sinks into your skin and does not leave a greasy layer on top. Great on hot/muggy summer days. I also will definitely recommend to double down on the sunscreen (making sure to reapply!) after use as my skin was a lot more sensitive compared to when I used my vitamin C serums. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the fragrance in the cream it was a bit too strong for me and so I avoided using it at night time. I did notice that my skin was brighter and overall smoother after consistently using this product!

To date, I haven't noticed any difference in my skin. I use retinol serum at night, so I incorporated the Olay Niacinamide + Vitamin C moisturiser into my morning routine with SPF for the last three weeks. The consistency is gel-like, which is great for summer weather. It's light, spreads on easily and it doesn't leave any feeling of greasiness. However, I did experience pilling and I had to change my regular sunscreen with SPF 50 to ones that are compatible with the moisturiser. The moisturiser is also heavily fragrant, which is not my preference. Overall, I prefer Olay's other range

So when I read on the back of the packet that this was "non-greasy" and "fast-absorbing" I thought it would be perfect as I love other Olay products. Turns out these were a bold faced lie. This is possibly the greasiest and slowest absorbing product in the Olay range. Olay's night creams are less greasy and faster absorbing than this. Huge waste of money for me to buy this. I have no idea why they lie on the packaging when it's so obvious.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sickly sweet silicone [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for about a month and put my usual products aside to give this a proper test run. The biggest claim of this product is that it "brightens skin for a radiant glow from within". The "radiant glow" is just simply due to the fact that the actual product is itself visibly iridescent. The first time it is applied on the skin it creates an immediate shiny layer to your skin. I found that I had to tread *very* lightly with this moisturiser. Using the tiniest amount was enough and it was very easy to over-do it. Even when applying a small amount, I was always left with a "layer" on top of my skin as the product has silicone in it. Which is something I was not a big fan of at all. My skin never felt simply hydrated, it just felt as though I had a stubborn veneer of product on my face. I definitely would only recommend this product to those with dry skin. I have normal skin with a slightly oily T-Zone and this product was a nightmare to wear as soon as the temperature hit 20 degrees! My whole face just felt greasy and as though I was wearing a mask. The scent of this product is much too sickly sweet. It smells exactly like apricot nectar! I think they really miscalculated with the scent here. It is especially difficult to deal with when applying at night before bed. On the whole I noticed no improvement or changes to my skin at all. Let alone in reduction to "the look of dark spots".
