[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this lovely L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum for the BeautyHeaven Trial Team to try. And boy do I love it!! Thank you Beautyheaven for letting me trial it! Firstly, it comes in nice cardboard packaging that when you open it, you are greeted with a beautiful black/brown bottle, it looks so luxurious and very unique looking, I’ve never seen a skincare product that looks like this, very sophisticated and stylish, kind of like an old gin bottle you see in movies. And it also has a dropper inside. The serum itself is yellow in colour and nicely scented as well. The midnight serum has a thick consistency but is also very lightweight and goes on so well that it just glides on your skin. You only need around 3 or 4 drops for your whole face as well, so a little goes a long way, which is great because it should last a long time. After using this amazing serum my skin feels very smooth and super hydrated too! It give my face a nice skin texture and seems to help soften my fine lines. Overall I really liked using this serum and will continue to buy it when this one runs out.

Preference based on which serum left skin feeling more: moisturised, smooth, silky, fresh, comfortable, radiant, plump." *First impressions:* An expensive paperweight?! My first impressions of the packaging: heavy, pretty and I hope it’s worth it. I wasn’t 100% sure, to be honest. An extreme amount of effort is put into the presentation and I question the value for money. This product is no exception. The packaging is sealed in plastic, prettily boxed, all for a very simplistic toned (heavy) glass bottle with a dropper. You get 30ml of product for the RRP $59.95. Yikes. *With use:* Instructions for this serum dictate suitability for AM and PM routines, thank goodness, and to be used on clean, dry skin. Straight off the bat, this serum is easy to use, easily absorbed, does not compete or conflict with my existing skincare, does not have a scent that annoys or cloys, and does not cause makeup to drag. In other words: it’s a dream to use. Suggested use is three to four drops for the face and neck. The serum consistency comes out rather thickly (it does not ‘drop’ out of the dropper) but it glides on so smoothly. The consistency really is dreamy, almost silky. It’s rather delicious how it goes on, and it improved the performance of my daytime moisturiser (which I’ve now decided to pass along to a friend). *Final impressions:* I was surprisingly impressed by the performance of this serum that I continued to use it past the two week trial period. I’ve been using this serum consistently every morning and evening, without irritation, and I am loving it. While I can’t say my wrinkles are improved (dare I say I’m looking fab for 43?) my skin texture is slowly improving without the added use of the extra few things I would normally reach for (which I opted to not use for the purposes of this trial). To give you an idea, this serum took out an extra three products every second day, from my standard routine. And it worked. Insert gasp. I would buy this serum again, but not at full price. To say it’s a Midnight serum is really not right as you can use it both day and night. But saying that it makes your face look likes it been rested and plumped like you had some treatment sinking into your face over night but at all times. This miracle of a serum comes in a Liz looking bottle with a dropper. The milkiness of the serum goes a long way so this will last for ages. The sent is a little bit strong for my liking but it’s goes away pretty quickly. Since I’ve been using this serum, my face is smoother, plumper and clear. I love it. I’m 49 and I don’t have the advantage of having time on my side so I can experiment with a variety of products and hope they work, I have to purchase things that I know work. I never would have considered L’Oréal if I hadn’t been given it to use in a trial. It’s been amazing, so amazing that my husband has me putting it on him nightly too! He’s is definitely not one that cares about skincare, he washes his face, body and hair with the same thing! After only two weeks of use in the morning and night with my regular skincare routine I noticed softer, smoother, glowing skin. It was easy to apply with the dropper applicator and it only took a little to cover my face. The smell of this serum is amazing and I looked forward to using it daily. It comes in a beautiful bottle which looks good on my vanity which is a plus. I highly recommend you give this a try!

I love this Midnight Serum - what a find! I tend to use serum both morning and evening and this gave my skin a lovely base for moisturiser and makeup. On its own I noticed that little bit of extra glow too. This is one product that I'll definitely keep on using. If you're not convinced, try rubbing a little on the back of your hand then compare that spot to the rest of your hand after a minute. Smooth and soft!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, thank you Beauty Heaven for allowing me to test this awesome product, the Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum from Loreal. When the product arrived I was pleasantly surprised to how elegant it looked, high class, beautiful bottle that was unusually unique. Misty tones half see through. I applied this serum by following the instructions which was three to four drops morning and night. The serum was easy to apply and smooth over my face and neck although I wanted to use more but after I got used to applying it it was fine. After a week I noticeable had more hydrated skin, the brightness had come back and it felt smoother. Then after four weeks, wow, what a result, even better, fine lines are disappearing before my eyes. I can't wait for the next results in time. I'd totally recommend this product, just awesome.

I have been using this for about a month now and I just love it. I really dislike anything greasy on my skin and this is so good it melts into your skin as you apply it and leaves nothing behind. Your skin feels fresh and looks amazing after only a few days of use. Since using it I find my skin looks soft and fresh and some of the fine lines seem to have gone. As I am in my 70’s that is amazing and hard to believe ,but very true. It comes in a gold and dark brown box containing 30 ml of the serum and inside is a glass container in dark brown but you can see inside if you lift it to the light. Its very stylish and looks good on your dressing table The Serum is a lovely orange colour and you only need a few drops ,I use 2 drops and that does both my face and my neck and as I mentioned before it disappears into your skin immediately without leaving any greasy feelings Just your skin .I have used other serums but nothing like this one ,just about every others I have ever tried have left my skin greasy and I have had to wash my face as I hate that feeling. I Know people have told me that it is expensive but I DO NOT CARE I am going to buy some once this bottle is finished.

It was easy to use and doesn’t break the bank to purchase. The dropper makes it easy to apply, the formula is easy to apply yet it dries quickly. I found this very light weight so it Didn’t have the heavy feeling on the face. It is very useable with your fave makeup products. This product made my lines fade. I was surprised. It made me look less washed out, I look so much brighter and much more confident. I can definitely recommend this product. It surprised me on how well it actually did. Some more pricey product wouldn’t do that. Buy this now! Its definitely worth it and you won’t regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been lucky to have the privilege to trial the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. And here I am with smoother, younger, fresher looking and thirst quenched skin (not in an oily way!). The serum bottle comes in a box and once you get past that, the bottle is a gorgeous luxurious ‘quilted glass’ effect dark bottle. It feels like quite a high end beauty product. The tip of the bottle is a squeeze pipette dropper, easy to dispense the right amount. The serum is a light pink lotion and I generally required about 5 drops to spread across my face and neck. A little does go a fair way. It spreads very lightly and my skin soaks it up beautifully. The scent is gorgeous, really pretty, I do wish it lasted longer, but it fades fast, so it doesn’t interfere with other products which is also a good thing. I used the serum before my night moisturiser and have noticed my skin is visibly smoother and clearer looking. I live in a humid climate but it hasn’t made my skin oily, just smooth and awakened, definitely younger looking! My make-up looks much much better, in fact I’ve just been using a bb cream in the day. Being mid-40’s, this is an affordable serum, feels like luxury and takes a few years off my face, my skin looks fresher and vibrant and hydrated, I visibly have less fine lines, I’m really happy with the results.

The serum is presented in a beautiful gold and very dark brown box, couldn't mistake it on the shelf. With the benefit of new skin cells, improving skin radiance and firmness, I thought this sounded wonderful, and just what I needed. What a beautiful classy looking bottle. Lovely dark glass, with a gold looking screw lid with a dropper. The serum is a lovely smooth silky light color. Has a nice gentle fragrance, which fades fairly quickly. Only needing 3 or 4 drops to cover your face and neck. The serum spreads so nicely, leaves your skin instantly feeling lovely and smooth. Absorbs really well into your skin, no greasy feeling which is fantastic. Pretty much instantly leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. I'm not a fan on the dropper, most of the time, it would only pick up enough for 1 or 2 drops. After using the serum, which is nice and light, for several weeks, could notice a nice difference happening. Skin was looking refreshed and well nourished. Noticed that my skin looks firmer, which is fantastic. I love the idea of this cream, Midnight Serum, with L'Oreal letting us know that the optimal time for our skin to replenish is around midnight. It’s supposed to be a dupe for *that* high end, OG night serum….but having tried both, I definitely prefer this. Which is fortunate as I really can’t afford the high end one! Me, 41, combination/dry skin with some texture and hyperpigmentation. My skin routine is focused on nourishment and sun protection and this beautiful product slipped right in as star serum, and it’s now the serum I reach for the most. While it is named the Midnight serum you can use this morning and night and I can’t get enough of it. I love the cool, modern bottle, and the dropper is perfect, but it’s the golden goo inside that counts. I always end up throwing away the exterior box and then being annoyed with myself because the ingredients are only listed on the packaging and not on the product bottle, so maybe learn from my on that one. And count it does. It’s not a miracle product, nothing is, but my skin is hydrated, and it’s tighter, plumper. My chin and neck area looks visibly firmer to me. I just generally look better, even on days i slept badly, cried, feel crummy, this serum has me looking at my skin and feeling good about how it looks. I look rested. I look like I might do a lot of yoga, maybe even drink green smoothies, definitely like I sleep for 10 hours at a time. The serum does feel slightly oily to touch but it sinks straight into my skin and doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on my skin. All my favourite creams layer well over it, but I think I’ve worn it alone a few times as it’s so hydrating I probably forgot to moisturise after. There’s definitely some fragrance in this, the light scent that’s in most of the age perfect line, but I haven’t had any issues with that. This is a little pricier than a typical L’Oréal product but my 30ml bottle is going strong after a month of use even with using every night and most days, too. I think I’ll get close to three months use perhaps which seems reasonable to me for such a great all-rounder serum. If you’re 35 plus this could be a great first serum, or anyone who is seeing those first signs of crepey, sagging skin and wants to add some extra support to their routine. Anti-aging skincare can be so confusing and having one product be able to do so much for my skin really impressed me.

I used it daily by itself, not with any other moisturiser or products, and it really had a great effect on my skin. The wrinkles across my forehead and around my eyes were visibly reduced, and the hydration and tone of my skin were greatly improved. What an excellent serum! The dark glass bottle is luxurious looking, with quilting-like impressions in the glass reminding me of a Chanel handbag. The eyedropper dispenses nicely sized drops of the serum. The serum has a soft, lovely fragrance, which I liked, and a warm golden colour. Impressive effect on my skin - I definitely recommend this serum!

I put it on every night after cleansing my skin and before my moisturiser. My skin felt smoother, softer and plumper. I go for a facial every month and even my beautician said she could notice the difference with my skin. Every morning I would wake up and my skin looked radiant and I felt refreshed. I felt like my lines on my face were not as visible as before. I made sure I applied it to my neck area. A great product that I would definitely buy and continue to use.

It’s housed in a pretty bottle which makes me want to buy it too. It smells divine, sinks into your skin & doesn’t leave any shine or residue. Testing it for over 4 weeks I feel like my skin is revived & moisturised. I would also say I feel like my fine lines have been reduced. The absorption rate of this product is amazing and I can wear it under makeup, it makes a great primer! I’m in love with this product & will buy again when I finally run out. It’s light weight and I really feel it does what it says! I love it!

The creamy pale peach serum is packaged in a heavy, beautifully shaped, brown glass bottle. The serum is dispensed via a glass dropper which I’ve found to be not very effective. More times than not the dropper doesn’t draw up any or enough serum so it is difficult to squeeze out the 3-4 recommended drops to apply to my face and neck. The serum has a beautiful subtle fragrance which doesn’t linger for long. The serum smooths effortlessly over my skin and absorbs quite quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. When I apply the serum my skin looks instantly refreshed and radiant. I can use any of my night moisturisers over this serum and wake up to glowing plumped skin. For day time use this is the perfect serum for under my moisturisers, BB cream, mineral powder or foundation. I haven’t found one product that doesn’t work well with this serum. After five weeks’ of use my skin is definitely looking smoother and firmer. My main concern were the fine lines around my lips which I’m pleased to see have softened, plus my neck is feeling the smoothest it has felt in years. I think this is a beautiful serum which I’ll have no hesitation in purchasing in the future.

After the fist use my skin felt more hydrated. After one week of use my skin felt softer. After two weeks of use my skin felt noticeably smoother. After three weeks of use my skin looked radiant. My skin is glowing and looks so healthy, it's great! This is a really gorgeous serum that I'll definitely repurchase. At $59.95 it's a little pricey, however it's regularly on sale for 50% off, that's the time to purchase. It seems very similar to a much more expensive serum, however I get better results from Midnight Serum than I do from it's more expensive dupe.

Thank you Beauty Heaven for this opportunity and I have really enjoyed using this product over the last 5-6 weeks. The serum comes boxed with a picture of the product on the outside of the box as well as information about the product and directions for use. The serum comes in an amber coloured bottle with an eye dropper applicator. I found it easy to use. I needed about 4-5 drops each time I used it. The bottle is made from glass and you do need to be careful about not dropping it. Although I did love the design of the bottle, it is hard to see how much of the product remains in the bottle unless you hold it up to strong light. The serum is a pale orange in colour with a lovely fragrance of oranges. It also has a nice consistency. I would put a few drops on my fingertips and apply it to my face and neck. It is quickly absorbed into my skin and is not sticky. I would follow up with my day/night moisturiser. Although I have not noticed any reduction in wrinkles over the time of using this product, my skin does feel hydrated and feels smooth. Also I do feel that it has faded an age spot I have on my face as well as brightening my complexion. I would have no hesitation in purchasing this product.

I found this serum to be easy to apply to the skin although the first hurdle was the built-in dropper. As the serum is a little thick the dropper doesn't fully disperse all the product but this is just a minor annoyance. The dropper also doesnt reach the base of the bottle so its difficult to get the last of the serum from the bottle. The serum has a pleasant scent that dissipates once my moisturiser is applied over the top. I applied the serum twice a day as per the instructions on the packaging. It worked perfectly well under my makeup and was lovely to apply at night time before bed. I found that when I would wake in the mornings my skin looked lovely and smooth with even skin tone. I feel like my skin is certainly looking younger and healthier. Fine lines have been smoothed. The bottle is quite pretty but it's the contents that I really love. I am very happy with how this serum works with my skin especially as my skin can be sensitive at times but it was super happy with this product and acted positively. This is certainly a product to add to your must try list. I will happily repurchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was how lovely and attractive the product packaging and the glass bottle.It gives us a clue of this is a high quality and expensive serum. I have now been using L'Oreal's Age Perfect Midnight Serum for over a month and can actually see the difference in my complexion.It is plumper, smoother and lines look less noticeable. I am really impressed with the improvement of my skin hydration and radiance.Although it says midnight serum I have been using this to a freshly cleansed face & neck every morning and night before bed as per directions on the package. This serum comes in gold and black coloured glass bottle.The dropper gives good control of serum i use each time.I needed the full 2 drops to get proper coverage.The fragrance from this serum nice,calming smell and it isn’t over powering.The texture is thick but not too heavy or sticky and is easily absorbed in to the skin leaving a lovely soft healthy glow.The colour of serum is nice creamy orange colour. It is almost like my skin colour. This is perfect addition to my regular skin care routine.So far I am extremely impressed and would definitely consider repurchasing this serum.I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants younger and brighter looking skin.

I love the L'OREAL bottle it's a nice glass textured bottle made of glass. The dropper is a nice added touch, makes for easy application. After I shower of night I have been applying the midnight serum to my face. I apply to my forehead, cheeks, chin and neck and pat in. The serum sinks into the skin easily and is not sticky. It has a light citrus fragrance that I found pleasant. Great for all skin types as I do suffer from some sensitivity around my eyes and this did not worry me at all. In the morning my skin feels soft and hydrated. It gives it a really nice soft feeling. After using for 6 weeks I can see that my skin seems brighter, plump and some of the lines less pronounced. Definitely recommend, and will be repurchasing as my new favourite night-time serum.

I am very happy with how it’s performed. For me the clearest benefit has been increased moisturisation, but I also feel that my skin looks rather smoother than before I started using this. It took about two weeks for me to really start seeing a difference – a little slower than promised on the package, but in my view not very long at all. The product is easy to apply – a couple of drops was plenty; it spreads well and absorbs well and has a light citrus smell. I did have a little trouble with the dropper not “pulling up” occasionally. It’s hard to know whether that was me or a slightly dodgy dropper, but it wasn’t a big issue in either case. The serum fit into my existing routine easily. The bottle isn’t finished yet – my guess is that it’ll last a little over two months. That’s pretty good value. Overall I found this an effective product, which showed results in a relatively short time, and which was easy to use. I liked it, and will probably re-purchase it.

It is very hydrating and not greasy at all. There was a small improvement on the lines from my mouth to my nose (that is really my only area of concern) and I am sure my skin will get even smoother once I use this product for another few weeks. I like that it absorbs immediately without leaving a greasy film and the skin looks firmer the next morning. I also like that this product is affordable so everyone can try this serum.

It came in a pretty luxe gold box and inside was a glass brown jar. The only thing that annoyed me was the applicator dropper. It was super hard to grab the product, you would need at least two goes to press the product. The serum is this ugly yellow ish colour however my skin absorbs it all up! I have been using 3 drops of this day and night after cleansing. My skin looks super smooth and hydrated. I love the feeling that the product will work as I sleep. By morning I can see how plump and smooth my skin is.

Comes boxed with the product in a dark coloured thick frosted glass bottle with gold trim. The dark container made it impossible to gauge how much serum was left and there seems to be quite a bit left – maybe keep the next bottle ready so you don’t get caught out. Serum is dispensed using the screw cap dropper and I used the recommended 3-4 drops (3 in the morning and 4 at night) applying it to my face and neck and massaging in gently. Thick yet lightweight serum and absorbs readily into the skin leaving no residue. It does contain parfum/fragrance and a fresh orange aroma which isn’t overpowering and short lasting. Noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin after only a few days. And a week into using, I purchased the L’Oreal accompanying Cell Renewal Day and Regenerating Night Cream (which I had used before but this was a New Formula) along with another Midnight Serum (all at ½ price) and results were even better over the next 3 weeks. I have a rough dry scaly patch of skin (sun/age damage) near my jaw line and using this serum has softened it better than other products I’ve used on it. To the point where it’s barely noticeable. It’s smoothed my skin texture, hydrated my skin and given it a silky fresh look the next morning. I’m loving this serum and will continue using it (have a second bottle ready to go) and will keep a look out for any specials!

I loved it and my skin did too.It is an “anti-aging face serum with antioxidants for visibly younger looking skin." The Serum comes in a 30ml dark brown, squarish bottle with indented squares. Not quite sure how to accurately describe it but it is a very pretty, elegant looking bottle. It is easy to hold in your hand and I think the shape and style is gorgeous! It has a dropper for accurate measuring but unfortunately, this dropper was faulty on my bottle as it only pulled air. I will still give 5 stars for the Serum as I am rating the serum and not the container. Already after the first application I noticed how silky and smooth my face felt. The serum has a clear peachy colour and is very easily applied and distributed. You only need a tiny amount for face and neck. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin. After cleansing and toning in the mornings and at night I took a small amount from the bottle onto my fingers (remember my dropper didn’t work) and applied it to my face and neck, tapping it into my skin for a few moments. After about a minute or so, I applied my day or night cream. I did this for the first three days as my skin is fairly dry. After that, I only used the serum at night, as per instructions. I wouldn’t say my face looked younger or that any lines disappeared but I woke up each morning with smooth, healthy, juicy looking skin. I am very grateful I had an opportunity to trial this product.

This serum has a lovely, light consistency and you only need a small amount to adequately cover the entire face and neck area. It absorbs very quickly and doesn't leave any heavy or oily feeling behind on my face which I love. I have oily skin prone to breakouts so anything that feels too heavy on my skin is unpleasant to me but this feels really nice when it is applied. It has a lovely, light scent that doesn't overpower the senses and my skin definitely feels noticeably smoother and softer since using it. I haven't noticed any difference in the fine lines on my face, but the difference in the texture of my skin is still a great bonus.

This honey looked like serum is very quickly obsorbed,even though it is creamy texture. only need a couple dops for face and a drop for neck and upper chest as this is one of srtong serum I have come across. I have used this from received it until empty the bottle about 4weeks plus. I used this after usual skin cleaning twice a day. What I have noticed is that my spots are not as dark they used to be and my skin is very hydrated. overall a great serum, the only annoying waste is that the squeeze tube is not long enough about 10% has to be bottle upside down to get them out.
