Common Uses

Bondi Sands Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser is non-ghosting and is enriched with Vitamin E, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Fruit Extract and Zinc Oxide to provide up to 72 hours of hydration,whilst protecting the skin.

Ingredients

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: ZINC OXIDE 25.0% W/W. CONTAINS: PHENOXYETHANOL, BENZYL ALCOHOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN.

Directions

Step 1 Shake well before use.

Step 2 Apply cream liberally and evenly to the face 15 to 20 minutes before exposure to the sun.

Step 3 Re-apply every 2 hours or more often when sweating and after swimming, exercise or towel drying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really like this sunscreen I really like this sunscreen it feels moisturising and plumping but it dries down and soaks in so it's not greasy like many other face sunscreens are. I really like that it has a slight tint so it's not ghostly white on my face and it is really easy application. I think the packaging is really unique and cute and suits Bondi sands but in a more fun lively way. The only think I would improve on is that the bottle would be better if it had a pump but tighter than that I love this sunscreen and my face feels hydrated and smooth after using

My only issue with this product is that the tint does oxidise a bit and you have to make sure to really blend it out to minimise any orange patches!! Still love the product though!

The packaging is super cute – it comes in a plastic squeeze tube that’s white with a yellow cap. It’s a handy size to carry in your bag daily, so you can reapply as needed. The moisturiser itself has a slight tint to it, so it works well to provide a little blemish coverage to my skin. While initially it takes a while to work into/absorb into the skin, once applied it sits nicely all day. I was gifted this product to trial and review.

I have been using the Bondi Sands Everyday Skincare Sunny Daze SPF 50 Moisturiser for a few weeks and it combines all of my favourite skincare items - SPF, slight coverage and non greasy. Exceptionally priced, easy to apply, no overpowering scent, non-sticky and lightweight. Works well both when I do and don’t wear makeup. My skin is brighter and more glowy. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brightening Factor 50 moisturiser Surprisingly delighted with this product, I mean I’ve tried many SPF products and most of the time it’s greasy or heavy on my skin, Sunny Daze felt like a paste but went on really nice and smoothly, w no residue feeling like previous products and it has a brightening vibe to it which is epic for my pale and interesting skin. Being able to apply my make up over it was good but a note wait 5 mins for Sunny Daze to dry otherwise it doesn’t let your make sit and peels. Great feel good product! It absorbs very quickly and has a mild citric smell that is pleasant. It also has a very slight shimmer which brightens the face. I would recommend

I LOVE that this is a combo moisturiser and SPF. I live in Sunny Queensland so we get hit with the sun and UV rays worse than any other state in the country. Sunscreen is a MUST! I've found other sunscreen leave my skin dry and flaky, but this one is amazing! so light, great to use under makeup (its like you're wearing nothing at all.. nothing at all :P). Very easy to apply and would be the #1 product i could maintain daily.

It has an ever-so-slight tint to it too which gives a little bit of coverage to make your skin look really even. Best of all it didn't irritate my highly sensitive skin and worked well even on a scorching hot day. *I was gifted this product to trial and review.

It was gross. I would recommend using this product ON ITS OWN in order to achieve its desired effects of brightening and moisturising the skin. I was gifted this product to trial and review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from High SPF I have to be completely honest and say this isn’t my FAVOURITE product. The novelty of having a moisturiser and SPF wrapped in one doesn’t outweigh the extra time it takes to layer them for me personally. I think being a combined product I worry about the efficacy on either side, am I really hydrating my skin and am I really protected from sun (yes, I an, but I do worry). When used alone, the product sits nicely and had a beautiful, dewy finish, but when layered with anything else it pulls terribly and comes straight off in little rolls. If you want to use it under makeup you have to wait a considerable amount of time for absorption at which point any time you saved using a combined product is lost. Straight out of the tube there is a flesh tint but this isn’t a substitute for foundation, it is the zinc in the product making it opaque. I do like that it is 50+, I think that is amazing and necessary for the Australian sun. The sunscreen doesn’t leave a white cast and isn’t greasy I think this product is best suited for a young person who is new to skincare or somebody who wants something really easy to apply at the beach or pool that covers both bases for moisturise and sun protection. It definitely has its place, but I don’t think it’s for me in my morning routine. I was gifted this product to trial and review.

It goes on well but for some reason it ends up sitting on the skin and then forms into small blobs (for lack of a better word!). It’s not really an issue if putting on in the evening but it’s not a good product for under makeup.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great on its own This product is so great on its own but unfortunately does not layer well with other products such as serums or makeup over the top. I found it pilled terribly when layered and I attribute that to its very matte formula. With that being said, on its own it is great. It is a very mattifying formula but not drying on the skin and applies very easily with no white cast as it has a slight pigment to it (not enough to colour correct however). It’s incredible in the way that it is so matte it does not feel like you’re wearing sunscreen which is unlike any other formula I have ever tried. If you’re used to wearing pure sunscreen on its own – this is the one. If you layer products and often wear makeup afterwards, I would skip this and use for beach days only.
