We had tried so many products since she was a baby but I had no idea many were actually contributing to the problem rather than helping it. This has been the best by far with great results & no stinging. The texture does take a bit to get used to but it’s worth it.

He dislikes creams, but found this goes on smoothly without leaving a heavy or shiny residue. So far so good. Improvements already showing. Be great to have it as a 2 in 1 with SPF for summer, as also photosensitive. No smell is a big tick from him.

My hands get sore, red and flaky from washing them in winter so I put this on after washing them and at night right before I go to sleep. I've found it is helping them and they look less agitated and flaky so that's a win in my book! I'll use it at night on my feet as well and they feel smooth and soft in the morning. Also love that there is no fragrance and it's a sting free formula. A little seems to go a long way so it should last a while.

This cream has really helped fix this! I haven’t been able to find anything to fix this issue up until now. I found after one use my dry cracked skin was repaired. I will continue to use this cream on my hands and any other dry spots. I wouldn’t use this as an all over moisturiser just as a dry spot moisturiser. Great hand cream because it absorbs quickly and doesn’t wash off when you wash your hands throughout the day. I would highly recommend this to friends and family.

As the name suggest, the product is an ointment that is very thick paste which requires a bit of effort to squeeze out. After getting the product, I start massaging the ointment onto my hands and the product melts into oil form which I was able apply dry parts of my body such as my elbow. The ointment is extremely moisturizing on my dry skin. Also the product is fragrance free which is my preference. As this is an ointment, the later of oil does remain on the skin so I would just it in the evening as overnight mask.

After warming it up in my hands I was able to use it on all dry skin patches - elbows, feet, hands and an added bonus was the way it leaves your cuticles so soft. The ointment is very thick and soothing. I found that my cracked winter hands improved dramatically within just a few days. My only negative was I found it extremely difficult to squeeze out of the tube. The tub would probably be easier to use if you were elderly or had difficulty with hand mobility. I would 100% purchase this product again, I would try the 200gm tub instead of the tube for ease of use and I would also purchase the daily wash as suggested on the product for extra hydration and soothing.

Whether it was from the conditions at work or a reaction to knew washing powder, it cleared it up. Before it was dry, red and itchy like a bad rash. Also great on dry cracked heels. I received the tube and the cream was hard and firm, so a bit difficult to squeeze out. Then I used too much force and a blob spurted out a metre - it could have been due to the environment in the post etc! I will keep trying it on my dry elbows and heels to see how it goes.

This is neither of those things! This QV ointment has been a real joy to use on my hands that flare up in winter. I have used a pea sized amount after every hand wash session and have found it to be light, non greasy, sits beautifully on my skin so I can get on with the day without having to wipe the rest off my palms and risk getting it on anything I touch. What a beautiful product from QV. I’m definitely buying the tub now. I will also get the whole family to use this. Great for eczema on the neck too and it won’t stain your clothes.

I have sensitive, dry, and eczema prone skin and this product helped me start my journey to better skin! I also used this product when I was having a flare up with eczema, I would put it in places that started getting worse and this formula took the irritating feeling away and protected it for hours! In about a week of using this product I noticed a difference to my skin, it felt more hydrated in dry areas which I am so happy to see! My family and friends noticed a difference in my skin as well which is an added bonus! I just also want to mention the formula is very thick and sometimes takes some effort to get out of the bottle, but once it’s applied it works wonders for me! This is a product I cannot recommend enough if you have skin like me! This is a product I’m never going to stop buying, it ticks all my boxes!

It was good it came in a tube making it handy to have in your bag at all times. I did find it hard to get the cream out as it was so thick but I found after holding the tube in my hand for awhile made it softer and came out easier I applied it after I had been in the shower on the cracks on my fingers and on my feet. I found in 2 days I was getting relief on my hands and my cracked feet were starting to heal. I loved that there was no stinging as the cracks always stung when I applied anything on them. I would definitely have a permanent tube in the bathroom as well

I apply it after showering to retain moisture. However, I have recently starting using it as my 'slugging' cream at night on face, eyes and neck after my nighttime skin care routine (including tretinoin). I do tissue off any excess before putting my head on the pillow. I have also been using it on my face if I have a reaction to too many active ingredients to calm any redness or rashes. It is excellent for these uses.

It has a solid texture but quickly warms up on skin and melts into an oil consistency that is nourishing and replenishing on skin. It easily soothes and relieves any dry patches. I see noticeable improvements from even one use. The only issue I had was the ointment was extremely difficult to get out of the tube and most times required me to squeeze the tube with both hands with quite a bit of pressure. That is not an issue that will be encountered with the larger tub version of this ointment but it is definitely a downfall of the tube version. This could be because of the current cold climate at this time which has hardened the oil ingredients in the formulation which have taken on a more solid consistency. I am hoping in warmer weather it takes on a more fluid form making it easier to extract from the tube.

I have tried so many products and simply gave up because I don't like the sticky feeling on my feet. QV Dermcare ointment pleasantly surprised me with its thick but quick absorbing ointment. The product absorbs very quickly on my heel without any tacky feeling and my heels were visibly more moisturised without cracks within a week of using this product. I got the tube version which was a tad difficult to squeeze as the ointment is quite thick but a little ointment goes a long way and I am willing to overlook this packaging flaw as the product is very effective! I would highly recommend this to anyone with cracked skin. It's not stinging and very soothing on your skin with a mild buttery fragrance.

The QV Dermcare Sting Free Ointment has been a great gentle product to use. It comes in a tube with a twist cap. Just dispense and apply to the skin. It’s got a balm like texture so as you rub it melts into the skin. Like the name says, this ointment doesn’t sting. It’s just so great and gentle to use on my skin. I have been using on my face and body. I hadn’t originally planned on using on my face all the time, but it is just so nice and gentle on my skin especially after a shower so now I am using this ointment as a face moisturiser. Love it and would recommend to others.

I found it soothing and moisturising and especially effective for the very dry cracked skin between my fingers, which has really been suffering from the extreme cold and windy winter weather we've been experiencing over the past month. The packaging states QV Dermcare ointment is sting-free and this really is true, even on sensitive skin and sensitive areas. When applied after epilating (including on armpits and around the bikini area), there was no sting, unlike I sometimes experience with other moisturisers. My only criticism is the packaging itself. The ointment is thick and in cold weather, it is extremely difficult and takes a very long time to squeeze even a small amount of ointment out of the tube. If the ointment came in a tub rather than a tube, it would make accessing and applying the ointment so much quicker and easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a super dry winter here where I live and this Sting-free Ointment with Ceramides has been literally fantastic for soothing my skin from my lips, hands, fore-arms to my scaly-prone legs, elbows, knees and any dry areas on my feet. I love the way my colour of my skin is enhanced straight after putting this on - my skin gets a golden glow after application. Straight after application my skin feels comfortable and soothed. It's like a big chap-stick for my body - but the formula is in a tube. My natural skin barrier is boosted and protected again as soon as I put this on. My skin looks so much healthier and also feels and looks hydrated. The scales on my lower legs disappear when I've used this on the skin there. It's beautiful to apply after a warm shower onto warm skin, locking in any moisture offered to the skin by my shower and then it continues to keep my skin hydrated the whole day long. I'm loving the multi-tasking attitude of this product! It really can be used in so many places on the body - hence being super versatile. I don't have eczema but I do have skin that tends to be extremely dry - especially at the moment with the winter winds picking up a lot lately. It's dermatologist tested and while it's not officially an eczema tonic, it does claim to be suitable for use with eczema-prone skin. My eldest daughter, who does have terribly eczema-prone skin liked this because it's not water-based and it doesn't dry out after application. In fact, it kept on working to keep a layer of protection on the skin to prevent her skin from worsening. This is a 100g tube but you can also get it in a pot with screw-top lid. My husband went and bought the pot because his skin is slightly eczema prone and he suffers generally very dry skin especially at the moment in our current dry winter. It claims to be sting-free and it truly is. No matter where I put this, there was no stinging whatsoever. There is no fragrance or taste (I can tell when I put it on my lips). I love using this on my lips - it has the feel of a luxury lip balm and makes my lips feel smooth, protected and plumped with hydration restored.

This ointment is great for dry skin on the face and body, particularly eyelids, lips, elbows, knees and feet. It has a similar texture to Vaseline and it instantly relieves the dry cracked feeling that I experience. I love the tube, it fits in my handbag easily and it's great to carry on the go. I didn't experience any issues using this product. Suitable for all skin types, I will definitely purchase QV Dermcare Sting-Free Ointment again and I have been recommending it to all my family and friends.

When I applied QV Dermacare Sting Free Ointment with Ceramides, I was quite surprised that it is not greasy. I tried few different brands ointment for my son as he has dry skin. Most of them are quite greasy and it is not easy to use it. QV Dermacare Sting Free Ointment with Ceramides soothes dry all day. I used it for elbow, hands, foot and body. My son also used it and it is very effective. I strongly recommend it!

Although I don't have eczema, I do develop patches of dry skin on my upper arm and usually have to top up moisturising them multiple times a day to keep them from turning into scaly, flaky skin. This ointment saves me a lot of effort as I apply it straight after I take a shower and dry off. It locks in all the moisture from the shower and doesn't require constant reapplication. Rather, it lasts a whole day (24 hours) and my skin feels smooth and hydrated.
