Rated 4 out of 5 by Lucy N. from Fantastic oil but don't love the sprayer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have dry and sensitive skin and the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist has been great, especially in winter! It is a lightweight oil that absorbs into the skin quickly and doesn't feel greasy. My skin feels softer and smoother after using it. I understand why a spray applicator would be convenient but I found it messy and ended up spraying the oil into my hand before applying to my body. The sprayer was stiff and was especially hard to push down with oily hands. I would love to see a pump on this product instead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Julie A. from Beautifully fragranced nourishing body oil [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Aveeno Daily Nourishing Oil Mist daily for a week and absolutely loved the effects of this product. My skin felt nourished, hydrated and dry skin was non-existent. My favourite thing about this product was the fragrance. I felt I was in a pampering spa session. It left my skin delicately scented and I also felt like I was on a summer tropical holiday. The oil mist absorbed into my skin straight away too. It was slightly thicker than what I was expecting out of a body oil. I found the spray nozzle a little hard to use and I think this could be due to the thickness of the oil. I also loved that this product is formulated without the harsh parabens, silicones and synthetic dyes. My usual sensitive skin is grateful for this. Another great product from the Aveeno range!

I have been enjoying this moisturizing oil mist for a while.. It is very Easy to use .Just spray the dry oil mist close to the skin and massage in. It Smell so divine. It Absorbs quickly and is definitely non-greasy. My skin feels soft and smooth after its use. Enjoy smoother, more even skin with this moisturizing oil mist. One thing I would love to share... better to use it in shower room as while spraying it on skin while standing on tile floor leaves stains on it which left me very angry..

If not, you’ll probably want to stick with a fast absorbing moisturising lotion. The fragrance is mild, but lovely. It is subtle enough that it won’t clash with your perfume by day, but lingers if you put it on before bed. The spray nozzle emits a good, controlled amount so that it sprays where you want it, not all over the bathroom floor. You can choose how much (how many pumps) you put on. Skin is immediately moisturised, as you’d expect if oil is applied. But the soft, smooth feeling lasts till morning, or until you shower again. I find this far more effective than any moisturising lotion or cream. The only thing that is slightly disappointing is the claim that it’s fast drying. I’m not sure what I expected, but on me it takes a good 5-10 minutes until I feel comfortable enough to get dressed. I was already a fan of body oil so this is now my new favourite. I love the scent, the non greasy feel and how long it makes your skin feel smooth and soft, You just need the time to let it dry down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hannah S. from Nice oil but too much fragrance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this product, I have such dry skin and use Aveeno moisturiser every day, so an easy to apply oil is exactly what I needed. The application was interesting, I ended up spraying it on my hands and then spreading it over because I feel like spaying it would create a bit of a mess. The oil was beautiful made my skin soooo soft even the next morning. It was nice and didn’t cause my sensitive skin to react. The only thing I could not get over was the overwhelming fragrance! I was so disappointed to find that it was so heavily fragranced considering all the other Aveeno products I have used are usually fragrance free. I couldn’t quite work out what the scent was until I had flashbacks to my high school days covering ourselves in Impulse body spray. It was so strong I just couldn’t continue using it. I don’t think I could recommend this product to others, purely for the fact that they will end up smelling like an early 2000s teenager. If it wasn’t fragranced I would have loved it.

I have really dry skin, especially on my legs and around my elbows and I was hoping this would be able to help. I didn't mind the scent, it wasn't too overpowering and it did seem to work on even the dry patches of skin around my elbows. I did find that it left my legs feeling greasy and I'm just not a fan of oils. My skin did feel a lot softer and if I wasn't left with an oily residue, I would use this religiously. If you are not like me and adore your oils, then this would probably be a good one for you as it seems to do as it says. I think this is a really good product, it's just not for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shannon L. from Great for dry skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist, as I use quite a lot of oil products. I am currently 9 months pregnant, with only a few weeks to go until the baby arrives, and often use an oil product on my belly to keep it soft and supple. The Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist comes in a generous bottle however, being a plastic bottle, I found the spray nozzle difficult to hold onto after a few uses as as it became slippery. I used it a few times on my belly and found that it did nourish my skin as desired. The oil itself feels lovely, and sprays on as a light mist, which is great - not too overbearing. I found the fragrance to be too strong and a little sickly sweet for my liking though, and would probably not use the product once the baby is born because of this. I had a lot of trust in this product when it arrived and, apart from the fragrance, it hasn't disappointed. Be mindful when using though that you place a towel on the ground underneath your feet. I used this product in the bathroom, and the tiles became very slippery quite quickly. It may not be the best product to use around children. I will continue to use the product as the weather heats up, mostly on my arms and legs, but only sparingly due to the fragrance. If this was toned down, I would be more inclined to use it more frequently and on my body overall.

I used this oil after having a shower and it was very easily absorbed into my skin and very moisturising. I did have trouble with the spray and it was a bit hard to navigate at times. I found the best way was to spray it into my hand and then apply it. Being an oil it was a bit messy as the bottle did get very oily after using it. The plastic packaging was suitable and it was nice to be able to see how much product was left in the bottle. I found the oil did not spread that well and I had to use quite a bit to moisturise. Overall the oil was nice to use, it had a pleasant fragrance and was a good moisturiser that made my skin soft for 24 hours.

However, 2 points down because of the scent and the packaging. It smells like a typical body oil which i am not fond of. I am not a fan of the scent and received it feeling oily and slippy. It leaked on transit. The mist is also not a mist, it spits product. Hopefully they improve the "mister". Overall it is a great product but would not buy it because of the packaging, much product is wasted because of the spillage when the spray is used.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Beauty Crew and Aveeno for the opportunity to trial the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Oil Mist. I love Aveeno products and have used the Active Naturals Daily Moisturising Body Lotion, the Intense Relief Hand Cream and Active Naturals Daily Moisturising Wash with good results. I have dry, sensitive skin which becomes an itchy mess in winter, covered with scab marks from scratching. Without a good moisturizer, I’m in trouble. So I was really looking forward to trialing the oil mist. As with their other products, this Aveeno oil mist is predominantly a natural product. The main ingredients are oat oil, jojoba oil, soybean oil, and lecithin. It is 98% naturally derived and formulated without parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, and so on. In other words, you can feel confident putting it on your skin. The product comes in a generous 200 ml plastic spray bottle. It’s nothing fancy, but very practical. I’d hate to use anything but plastic in the bathroom when I’m dealing with oil. The sprayer had me worried the first time I used it as I kept pressing down on the nozzle and nothing happened. It took quite a few sprays to prime the sprayer, but it did eventually work. For the first few applications, I had to depress the nozzle very firmly for the oil to spray, but as the bottle began to empty, the nozzle became easier to operate. For small areas of application, the sprayer allows an adequate amount of oil to atomise with each depression, but not so much that you would end up with a mess. The inner tube reaches to the bottom of the bottle which means less wastage at the end. My only concern about the packaging was regarding longevity. Given that the container allows for 1000 pumps, I was uncertain how quickly the oil would deteriorate in a clear, plastic bottle. The directions on the bottle were simple. Spray close to the skin and massage in. Do not spray near eyes or face. In the instructions from Beauty Crew, it added that the spray is best to use after a shower while your skin is damp. I tested it on both dry and damp skin. The oil had a sweet, fruity and nutty scent. When applied to smaller areas, the scent lingered for a while and then dissipated. It wasn’t overpowering and you could easily wear perfume over it. However, when applied to the full body, the scent became overpowering and, to my taste, off-putting. It also tended to be more long-lasting. I decided to only apply the oil at night, as I didn’t want to smell like this throughout the day. I first tested the oil on my dry, sanitizer-raw hands – a challenge for any moisturizer. After rubbing it in, the oil mist left my hands very shiny, but some of this faded a short while later. Initially, my dry patches were unaffected. They felt as raw as ever. Nor was there any immediate change to the appearance of these dry patches. A second application a bit later made my skin smoother. As I continued to apply the oil, the skin on my hands healed and became softer and smoother. I was definitely happy with the result. I also tested the oil over my whole body after showering. I found the oil was absorbed quickly into my skin and there was no shininess. The amount dispensed by the sprayer for the larger areas (torso, back, legs) was too little, and I was only able to apply the oil a small area at a time. While this meant there was no mess, it was a bit frustrating. After the first application, my skin felt softer and a bit sticky, but it was still itchy. If I applied it very lightly, the oil was absorbed quite fast, but I found that for the moisturizing effect, I had to apply it more thickly, and then some stickiness remained. I didn’t mind this as it provided a layer of protection from the cold. I continued to use the oil after each shower daily. At the end of a week, my skin was definitely softer but I still felt itchy. The oil did not irritate my skin, but it didn’t fully get rid of the itchiness. Overall, I do still prefer the cream moisturizers to the oils, as I find they are more effective at getting rid of the itchiness. But this oil performed much better than others I have tried in getting rid of the dryness. I would certainly recommend this oil spray to others for combating dry winter skin, but I would be warning them about the scent. That said, scent is up to individual taste, and others might like the oil’s fragrance.

I applied it in the bathroom straight after my shower and I found it sprays on quite thick and messy not like a mist at all so it needed to be wiped over the skin which made it more difficult to use the bottle as my hands were oily and was hard to pump. When I entered my bathroom later in the day I almost slipped over as the oil had sprayed on the floor aswell which could be quite a hazard for some people. For me i wouldn’t purchase again as I find it too awkward and messy although it feels great on the skin and dries quickly. It may be better to stand back in the shower to apply the oil so you are able to wash away the residue but I would find this too time consuming and would prefer to use a moisturiser than do this. I really wanted to love this product as I do get very dry skin but it’s just not for me. Thank you for letting me try it.

I don't mind the smell of it ,but after the oil is applied it smells more like Olive Oil. A unscented version would be better. The spray bottle was very hard to pump as when you get it on your hands it's a struggle to apply to the rest of my body. I wouldn't have called this product a spray mist as it comes out rather thick. A little goes a long way which is good. On the good side it left my skin feeling soft and soothing maybe because of the oat oil and Jojoba. It's a great moisturiser for your legs and arms. Overall I injoyed using this Aveeno moisturising oil mist as my skin is rough and dry. Thankyou for the chance to try this product I will purchase in the future and I recommend this product.
