Rated 3 out of 5 by from This eyeliner is quite nice and good for doing a winged eyeliner look and also for drawing thin lines, however I found that it died out quite quickly and the orginal dark black colour that came out originally quickly turned to a charcoal colour instead, it also is not fully smudge proof as it smudged after a few hours of wear so I probably wouldn't suggest it for those with oily eyelids, however overall it is still an okay product for the price.

The color is really black, the tip is extremely fine so it is easy to draw a fine fine line, easy to reach the roots of the lashes for a subtle thin line too. For me the tip is too soft, too flexible, I prefer firmer ones, but I am sure there are those who like them softer. The eyeliner is pretty long lasting, doesn’t smudge ( at east on my eyes), and is easy to remove with a regular make up remover. \n

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Changed the formula now its terrible I've used this specific eyeliner for years and repurchase every time but i noticed a while ago when i went to buy it the packaging seemed different and the label on the actual pen is now on the cap instead of the pen. Ever since then the eyeliner has been terrible. It's clumpy, it doesn't drag a clean line and removes product when you go back to fill in the gaps. The old formula did not do this. The only positive change is that it doesn't seem to rub off as easily now. But the product is garbage and hard to use. And the whole reason i used this product was because it was a felt tip and not a brush, which is hard to find. And as others pointed out, the cap falls off all the time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not as good as the old Master Precise It looks like this product has replaced the previous Master Precise Liquid Liner and it just isn't working for me. This 'all day' version is sticky and glues my eyelid together, transferring itself in the process onto my upper lid. Not a great look! The felt tip pen delivery is also less precise and accurate than the previous brush tip delivery system. I've tried a bunch of other products now and unfortunately nothing seems to come up to scratch with the old product. Definitely a case of if it ain't broke don't fix it - the old pen was the best thing on the market. This isn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When I first bought this eyeliner I was in love with it because the application was amazing due to the light 'texta' pen and I got a perfect thin winged eyeliner every time. \nNow when comparing it to the Stila black Stay all day liquid eyeliner I now know that there is a way better product out there worth the money. \nThis would last me about 2 months, maybe 3 months tops before the tip dried out and there was no product left. Also, it is not long wearing at all, do not even consider wearing it to a festival or on a humid day because it will end up smudged to the outer of your face or in the lower corners of your eyes. \nNot joking, the Stila liner has lasted me a good 8 months and is perfection. \n

It also has terrible lasting power, I always need to bring it out with me and reapply every hour because it just fades away.

This eyeliner is dry and no product comes out of the end of the pen.I have tried everything to get the liquid to the end of the pen in order for it to actually work with no success. This is the biggest waste of money. I am so disappointed as I needed this for an event tonight and now am left with nothing.

I used it on top of eyeshadow like anyone would do and straight away stopped working, didn’t paint anymore and is all ruined. Not even on top of powdered face would work. I’m so disappointed and will definitely invest the extra money on other eyeliner

Rated 1 out of 5 by from patchy, rough, unpigmented, dried out. the pen was black for about 2 uses, and then became a kind of light grey - absolutely no pigment. it then became super patchy and almost clumpy and totally unusable. you really should be able to use an eyeliner for more than 2 weeks before it becomes useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from wont apply over eyeshadow looking for a brown eyeliner I thought you can't go wrong with Maybelline but apparently you can. I used this product fresh from the packaging with very poor results. It would not apply over eyeshadow and the more you try to work with it the clumpier it gets. I would try to fill in gaps only for it to remove the eyeliner already laid down. took me 20 minutes to salvage my makeup, no good when you're on deadline for work. This works perfectly on clean skin on the back of my hand. but if its competing with other products it's just a no. I have a feeling if it had a brush tip and not a felt one it would be better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No liquid comes out of the tip I bought this product today and when I tried it on no liner would come out of the tip and it was very dry. The only way it would come out is when you pressed it really hard or stamped it on your face, which would case it to smudge and look messy. It was very inconsistent and it would come out every now and then but it would either come out with very small product or way to much which would cause it to smudge. I am so disappointed because it is such a nice shape and I thought it would be so nice. This product is unusable and was a waist of money.

The tip is awarded and does not realise much product the lid does not snap on so it is hard to tell if it is closed or opened. Overall very disappointed.

I have purchased this item before with the same experience, somehow forgotten about it. Hopefully will never accidentally purchase this item again. Maybelline should never sell an item that can't even be used at all.

But the new formula smudges everywhere and the new felt-tip is so much harder to apply! I'm so upset. Pleaaaasssse go back to how it was!

The ink is different and the pen is more stiff. Smudges straight away. Not sure why they went to change the whole thing when the original one work so good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from New design is awful I was a huge fan of this product, very easy to apply, great brush tip. The new design is AWFUL. It now has a conical sponge tip instead of a brush and the tip dries out so you have to lay the tip on it's side to get any pigment out of it - defeating the purpose of it being "precise". Will never buy this again and will be throwing out new pens that i stocked up on.
