It reduces skin reactivity to external environmental factors and provides protection by helping to restore the hydrolipidic barrier. The gel lotion texture adapted for all skin types, leaves the skin feeling clean and comfortable, without any tightness. Avène Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser is rich in Avène Thermal Spring Water, which softens and soothes dry skin. Further it also contains D-SensinoseTM (a patented postbiotic ingredient derived from Avène Thermal Spring Water) to help soothe and ultra-calm hypersensitive skin. Directions

Apply morning and/or night to the face, eyes and lips with a cotton pad or directly with the fingertips. Tissue off gently without rubbing. If required use Avène Thermal Spring Water to rinse off. Suitable for use in children (aged 2 years and up) and adults.

Most gentle cleansers aren’t great at getting makeup off but this worked fine, even on heavier makeup days. My skins become more sensitive with summer approaching, so it was very welcome to find something gentle enough to work into my daily routine! I can see myself repurchasing for sure.

The Avene Tolerance Gentle Cleanser is gentle enough to use on the most sensitive of skin. I absolutely love using this product as my morning cleanse. It instantly refreshes and leaves my skin feeling clean but hydrated and nourished. It also isn't irritating on my eyes. This cleanser is a non rinse formula which is great if you are travelling to an area with 'hard' or impure water. All you need is a makeup wipe to gently wipe away the excess. If your skin is feeling sensitive or dry this cleanser would be a great option.

It takes everything right off and leaves my skin feeling and looking clean and so smooth. While I have acne, my skin isn't considered sensitive, but this cleanser doesn't aggravate my acne at all. i especially don't like cleansers that sting my acne, and this one doesn't do that at all which I appreciate! (I received this product in exchange for review. All opinions are my own)

An absolute must for anyone with sensitive skin. I had no irritation like a get from some cleansers. I will definitely buy again.

This saves me so much time in the morning! My skin is also very sensitive and it’s so incredibly gentle, I have experienced no burning or redness since using this product! After application I expected this product to feel sticky but it’s drys perfectly on my face and my skin feels so soft! I highly recommend giving it a try!

It's amazing to find something that is incredibly gentle, but still feels like a luxury product. I combine this product with the soothing skin recovery balm from Avène, and the combination is so moisturising.

I like my cleansers to be extremely gentle on the skin and this Avene cleanser lives up to its name. Its texture is liquid but not to runny, and its fragrance free! It doesn’t need to be rinsed off so I just use a makeup pad or my fingertips to apply it and wipe over my skin. But it also works well still if you want to use water to rinse it off. If you wear heavier makeup, you may need to do a second cleanse to remove everything. I like how its gentle on my skin , and doesn’t leave my feel feeling stripped. I use an Avene balm after using the cleanser sand together it leaves my skin clean, soft and nourished.

It left my skin feeling so soft, nourished and clean - and I love that there are no perfumes or nasties in there. My skin can get a little dehydrated (especially when it's windy or during winter) but this cleanser was really replenishing and it's quite noticeable the next morning as I don't wake up with dry skin.

I have sensitive, fair skin and this is by far the gentlest cleanser (that still contains active ingredients) I've ever used. It cleans the skin beautifully, without stripping it dry. It's a gel formula, which I love, great for removing all the dead skin cells revealing brighter, fresher skin. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for simple, active, skin care.

I enjoy not having to rub repetitively to remove powder based makeup. There is no unpleasant stinging around my eyes when removing oil based Mascara with this cleanser. Some cleansers leave an oily residue or dry the skin excessively, however this one does neither and leaves the skin feeling soft and clean

It doesn't leave a film and applies well with cotton wool pads. Unscented as well which is nice for sensitive skin. Only thing is it may need two applications for heavier make up or a quick initial pass with some baby wipes before then using the cleanser. No breakouts from using this either.

My skin doesn’t feel stripped and tight after use, as it does with many other cleansers. I have noticed improved smoothness on my forehead, a reduction of redness and a complete elimination of dry skin patches on my chin. This is the perfect cleanser for those with very sensitive and dry skin like my own.

I love how it doesn’t make your skin feel dry like some cleansers can. I have very sensitive skin and I have to be very careful when choosing products, however I am so glad I have found this cleanser. I had no reaction causing redness or tightness which I have had from other products. I am so glad I have found Avenue Tolerance Extremely Gentle Cleanser I will be purchasing you again.
