Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I've been using this as an alternative to my retinol treatment, and it works just as well. It is a water-based formula, and it comes out clear. It is light on the skin and absorbs well. The niacinamide helps keep the pimples and acne at bay, and the bio-retinol smooths out imperfections and dark spots. As it's not a retinol it can be used day and night but I choose to use it only at night and another serum as a day serum. It's also great for anti-aging. A great product overall and it's also very affordable.

I normally are dark around my eye area, and I look like I don't get a lot of sleep, due to dry skin which brings out the fine lines. This is the first serum that makes me look less tired. The serum is a nice lightweight formula, that absorbs really well, but the more I use it, the less I have found I needed, because it has been hydrating my skin! It is also not sticky after applying, but I would wait for it to completely dry before applying anything else. This is a great base, as either a primer, or underneath moisturiser, because it is not heavy or oily on the skin, so it doesn't create a barrier

My understanding is that this is due, at least in part, to the presence of bakuchiol. There are no ghastly chemicals and, as I am allergic to artificial preservatives, I loved the fact it doesn't contain preservatives. As I like to support the domestic economy, the fact that this is made in Australia was also an attractive feature. I can certainly recommend it if, like me, you are looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

The skin feels so hydrated when you apply this serum and it stays hydrated throughout the night. You wake up with a dewy look on the face. I used it along with the night cream and polypeptide mask from the same range. The whole kit really made my skin more clean and hydrated. I would definitely recommend my close ones to include this product in their skin care regime.
