I find this product ok, checked the price so I think you are getting what you pay for it . Nothing special but does the job! I find it it takes quite long time to dry up comparing with other brands I was gifted this product to try and review

For me it is just too sticky after application, which is kind of OK on non make up days, but it is nearly impossible to apply make up over the top. Saying that when not needing any make up I really liked it.

The only problem I have is that I've noticed that the container is now plastic instead of glass. This was one of my number on buying points for the product as it is really hard to find good products not in plastic.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brighter skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This daily brightening face serum is really easy to use, its non-sticky formula was quickly absorbed into my skin. After using this product continually for a few weeks my dark sun spots have definitely faded in colour, giving my face a brighter look. My fine lines have also softened a little around my face. I think this product is effective but wish it had more of a luxurious feel. It has no scent and it took me a while to get used to using a no-frills face serum but I'm happy with its performance and the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unsure of results I started using the Swisse Vitamin C 10% Brightening Booster Serum after reading online about the benefits of serums, particularly vitamin C serums, for the skin. Unfortunately after using this product for a while I'm just not sure I see any results on my complexion! The product itself is nice, I like that it comes in a glass bottle so it has a more expensive feel, and the serum is very pleasant smelling. It smooths into the skin easily, although it does leave a very mild tackiness. I have been using this prior to my moisturiser morning and night. In terms of results, my skin looks relatively the same as it did before I started using it. I'm really not sure if this does anything, at least for my particular skin type. I'm going to finish the bottle but then go back to just using my moisturiser alone, as that seems to do the trick for keeping my skin happy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brighter Skin I enjoyed using this serum, it was easy to apply and my skin absorbed the ingredients easily giving me a hydrated smoother skin appearance over a period of time of use. A single pump is enough to cover my face, neck and hands easily. The consistency of the serum is light and milky with a very subtle clean natural scent that does not linger. I found my skin responded well to this product as I applied it in the morning allowing time to sink in then applied my usual face cream and sunblock. This serum has helped smooth out and brighten the appearance of my skin texture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really suitable for mornings [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent serum for the price. It’s something I would purchase again though. For some unknown reason, this serum did not agree with the moisturiser I use in the mornings (I’m not sure if it was the SPF 15 or another ingredient that it reacted with) or my primer/foundation. However it worked well with my evening moisturiser so I decided to only use it in the evenings. It has a unique smell that I can’t put my finger on how to describe it but I am definitely not a big fan of the scent of this serum. It’s just odd. Skincare products that are meant to be fragrance free always smell the worst in my opinion. I haven’t notice a huge difference in the appearance of my skin, if anything it looks slightly irritated. I tend not to use products with ingredients like citric acid for this reason. I really wish there were vitamin C skincare products made using strawberries rather than citruses. To sum it up, I don’t particularly like this product. While I’m sure other have great results, I certainly did not.

I would recommend following it with a moisturiser as it can leave skin feeing a little tight. I have not noticed an immediate change or amazing results but because of the way it feels I am prepared to continue with the product. It does not smell strong like some other serums. I think my skin looks a little brighter but like I said, it has not been overnight life changing results. For the price, I would recommend to others but just be prepared that results will not happen immediately and you should preserve.

It was easy to apply with no scent and a nice texture. I used it each day before sunscreen, moisturiser and make up and it definitely brightened my complexion. It never felt too thick or heavy. It was a nice addition to my skincare and I feel it contributed to the overall softness and brightness of my face. However, I don’t know if I would drastically miss it if I stopped using it but, for the reasonable price, I would use this product again and would recommend to others.

It made my skin feel really soft and smooth immediately after applying and I feel it is super affordable. The pump is great and I preferred this product to a thinner Vitamin C serum because it was easier to dispense and apply. It doesn't have a the traditional strong Vitamin C scent, but has a subtle scent that I liked better. I didn't notice a huge difference in terms of pigmentation but I did notice a difference in the overall look of my skin with less redness and post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation caused by spots. The one downside of this product for me was the pilling. I use roughly 4 products in my morning routine before my makeup and it didn't agree with at least one of them. I started trialling it at night which reduced this slightly. I would still recommend the product as it may have just mixed poorly with one of my other products!

The texture is quite light and absorbs well, but did make my skin feel a bit tight on application, so I wouldn't say that my skin found this particularly hydrating. This isn't really an issue for me, as I use a richer moisturiser and face oil in addition to serums. Was nice to see the product is formulated with niacinamide in addition to the Vit C. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the scent which has stopped me from reaching for this product as much as I'd like to. I haven't noticed a huge change in skin brightness and tone, compared to other Vit C products (mainly oils) where I noticed a more dramatic effect. In any event, this product is priced quite a bit lower than those products, and I would consider this an affordable and accessible product for newbies to Vit C.

I definitely felt that my skin looked brighter after a few weeks of using this both morning and evening. I did find that it did make my skin tingle for a little bit but then settled down. It did not cause any irritation but I suspect that is just the Vitamin C. My pigmentation seems to have reduced abit but not significantly enough, maybe I need to continue using it to see its true effects. So far people have commented on how fresh and glowy my skin looks. So i would keep using this just to see if it is my new HG. I would recommend it for dull skin. It definitely made my skin look healthier. I like that its on the natural scope as well. I would recommend this for anyone who does not have quite sensitive skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Has potential [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swisse Vitamin C 10% Brightening Booster Serum comes in the typical Swisse brand packaging that is nice size wise and has an effective pump with a good amount of product coming out. I always appreciate that Swisse is a carbon neutral company. I find the serum easy to apply, however it quickly gets sticky and I don't enjoy the feeling and also feel I need to wash my hands afterwards. Once it has absorbed it is dry on the face, however for this reason I didn't find it useful under makeup. It has a very faint natural fragrance that I don't particularly like, but it is nothing strong or off-putting, just not for me. I do feel my skin looks a bit brighter and more toned / even, unfortunately I just don't enjoy using the product and so wouldn't buy it again.

It did slightly reduce the rosacea in my face but not drastically. It was easy to apply and absorbed quickly so I could put my makeup on in the morning as per my rushed routine. I did notice though that I did experience product balling which was a big gross. I trialled it with different foundations just in case it was the makeup I was using but it did it with all of my foundations. I would recommend only using it at night if you’re rushing around in the morning and don’t have time to wait a long period of time before putting on your makeup. However, I’m thinking I may become a convert and finally join the skincare bandwagon.

I didn’t see great things in the first week but slowly I did start to see my skin look better. I started to see my skin brighten and feel soft. I am hoping I continue to see improvement in my skin. At the moment I am not 100% sold on this but I can’t say I don’t like it, I’ve just had serum that I see improvement in my skin quicker.

I will say however, I like the packaging and the feel of the serum. I am not sure if using this product for a longer period of time would change my view but I didn't see any improvement in my skins condition after having used the product for a month. I really like the brand though but sadly couldn't recommend this product to my friends or family due to the lack of results. I will continue to use this until the bottle is empty to see if my skin looks brighter but so far I haven't seen any results to rave about.

Although I was excited to try a product that seemed promising as it included active ingredients of both Vitamin C and Niacinamide, I didn’t really have the results from using this product that I desired. I didn’t feel like my skin absorbed the product well and I didn’t really like the texture of the serum. I have a few dark spots on my face but I don’t think it lightened them which is not completely unexpected after only a couple weeks of use. I didn’t see any results which would indicate that my complexion was brighter or my skin more hydrated or my pigmentation issues minimised. I prefer my usual vitamin C which costs slightly less than this product and feels better on application. I have seen positive results after using my other vitamin C product after using for over 2 months. I will continue trying this product to give it time to prove its effectiveness as I like the idea of it but unfortunately it has yet to prove itself to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging of this is simple and functional and 1 pump dispenses a good amount for a single application. The texture is smooth and lightweight, almost like a milky, runny gel with a mild scent that isn't offensive like some Vit C serums in the market. Upon application, it absorbs quickly into the skin and almost tightens, creating a thin dry film across the skin. This definitely wasn't my favourite feeling. Personally I prefer a lightweight serum that makes my skin feel hydrated, plump and juicy upon application- there are other vit C products on the market that achieve this. I have been using this serum for a few weeks now in the mornings only. Unfortunately I haven't yet noticed a difference on the pigmentation and melasma I acquired during pregnancy in this time, but perhaps with continued use this may change. Overall, with a naked eye, my skin looks much the same with no adverse effects. Vit c serums are generally rather expensive, so this has a great price point, but so far I don't think it's delivering against it's claims. I wouldn't repurchase as the feeling and results aren't for me, but perhaps I have more stubborn pigmentation than others might.
