For the trial period, I switched out my regular expensive serum and replaced it with this and I was so pleasantly surprised. My skin maintained its gooey clear complexion on this serum. It’s a light serum and completely odour free. This serum didn’t have that typical bacony smell that most vitamin c serums have which made it thoroughly pleasant to use! It’s light and easily and quickly absorbed. This is a great product for those starting out with a vitamin c or those hating the typical smell of a traditional vitamin c serum.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly does what it promises [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had the opportunity to trial this product, I found it to be a nice change from other vitamin c serums. The Swisse Brightening Booster Serum is a thicker consistency than other serums and applies to the skin well. It feels refreshing and moisturising when applied. I used this in conjunction with a vitamin c micellar water. And I think the combination has left my skin looking brighter. I’ve noticed my face looks smoother and more even toned. My dark spots are not as noticeable as before. In my opinion the Swisse Brightening Booster Serum does what it says on the label. I am pleased that this serum doesn’t have a strong fragrance. It applies well under my moisturiser and makeup. Though I did find that it needs to set for a few minutes before applying anything over it. Having used other vitamin c serums, the Swisse Brightening Booster Serum has been the best for me thus far. I’ve had no redness or tingling unlike when I’ve used other vitamin c serums. When applied at night, I find that in the next morning my skin looks well rested and not oily. Especially around my t zone. The Swisse Brightening Booster Serum Is packaged in a glass bottle with a pump applicator and is 30ml. The serum itself is a thicker consistency- not really runny. Don’t let the murky appearance put you off. It doesn’t have a strong citrus scent which is surprising but a scent I compare to something more earthy and natural. I am happy with the Swisse Brightening Booster Serum and would recommended it to friends and family. It’s reasonably priced at around $25 but can be found cheaper with sales. It’s also readily available at supermarkets and pharmacies.

The packaging appears to be pretty standard and the pump is easy and clean to use. I found that I needed about 2 pumps’ worth to get sufficient coverage and it left my skin feeling hydrated without a super heavy or oily feeling. The scent was ok as well, and it formed a nice base for my moisturiser and other skincare products. After a week or so, I noticed a small difference in brightness and hope to continue seeing positive results. Worth a try at this price point if you’re looking for something new but not looking to spend too much

I used it after washing my face in the mornings and after applying a toner, once a day, which I found to give the best results. The serum has a nice, appealing smell and feels soothing on the skin, while also not feeling too oily or greasy. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and instead makes my face look brighter and fresher. The serum also helped with minimising acne and redness. I think the item is great value at its price and would highly recommend if you have slight acne or wish to have a brighter look.

It is suitable for daily use and absorbs nicely into the skin. I used 1-2 pumps after cleansing and applying an essence, then followed with moisturiser. As I only used it for 3 weeks, it is hard to comment on whether it's made a difference as it's not long enough for a full cell turnover (which is about a month). You would need to use it for a few months I think (before you could see visible differences). It's a nice serum but for me, not quite strong enough to see any results so I probably wouldn't purchase. However, if you're starting your actives journey, this might be a really nice first step as it doesn't irritate and feels nice on the skin.

Whilst this serum is fairly light, it made my makeup feel a bit oily when I put it on. I have naturally oily skin so this isn’t ideal to feel dewy and oily at the start of the day. I would recommend using the serum on a day when you’re not wearing makeup. On the days when I wasn’t wearing makeup and used the serum, I did feel like my skin was a bit smoother and glowy. I also used the serum on my neck and décolletage, which I did notice felt a bit smoother after using it for a few weeks. I wouldn’t recommend this serum if you have oily skin and wear makeup every day for work, but if you wear minimal makeup then this serum would be a great one to use everyday.

I suffer from a lack of vitamin C and it is evident in my face as it looks quite dull and lifeless a lot of the time. Since using this product I have seen a tremendous change and will definitely be repurchasing this product for future use. The packaging is great and easy to use as well as a good consistency in the product. The scent is nice and not too overpowering which is what you want in a face cream. If you are looking for a vital C serum I would not look past this product and would 100% give it a try as it can transform your everyday skincare routine.

It has a slightly unusual fragrance which seems to be typical for Vitamin C serums but it is quite light and seems to disappear on application. It has a slightly cloudy appearance and thin texture which completely absorbs into the skin. I use it morning and night and my skin is looking quite good. It is very gentle and has not caused any irritation at all. It has been a few weeks and there is still quite a lot left in the 30ml bottle so I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of results I achieve by the time I’m finished using it.

During the day I don’t like to layer too many products because it moves my makeup so I’ve been applying this serum under my moisturiser before bed. Works well overnight and absorbs nicely on fresh clean skin. Definitely great value for money, especially if you are new to serums as part of your skin care regime. Texture is smooth and not sticky on the skin, dries well. Product does the trick smoothing out lines for a more plumper and fresh faced look without the price tag of a high end serum.

The packaging was a nice little box and inside there is a small bottle of the serum with a pump lid. The pump lid on mine wasnt working it didnt draw serum up so iv had to just pour it out which is midly inconvenient but didnt affect the product at all. The serum feels light weight with a very mild smell which suits me fine as i dont like highly scented things. I have sensitive skin. The serum glides on quite smoothly and doesnt sit on the skin it soaks in quite well and makes an excellent base for foundation under a moisturiser. As far as the products claims go i do feel that my skin has become a little less pigmented and it is looking a bit brighter. It didnt blow me away for a serum but im making unfair comparison from different price points. I would recommend if you are looking to add a little brightness to your skin with a nice light weight serum.

No irritating reaction from it as well. But, I have used this product at night for the last week and have not seen major results. My face feels moisturised but I haven’t seen any discernible brightening effects. I’ll continue using the product because results, especially with products that include vitamin C, might just take some time. The scent is not offensive and I do like how it sits on the skin. The formula also appears stable and hasn’t oxidised on me yet.

I have used more potent vitamin C formulations in the past and can be quite picky. I found this formulation was light, refreshing and would instantly sink into my skin. I didn't experience any irritation whatsoever and my skin also felt immediately hydrated. There was pleasingly no discernible fragrance as well. The packaging was also practical and the pump dispenser accurately dispenses the right amount (approx. 1-2 pumps) each time. While the bottle is fairly small and fits into the palm of my hand, I think the content quantity is fairly generous. Overall, my face appears brighter from consistent use. This is not a bad inexpensive vitamin C to consider purchasing on a budget.

It sits well under makeup, no sticky feeling afterwards like some vitamin c serums and I like the pump style bottle - it doesn’t let the serum go bad so quickly. It is quite thin and runny so you don’t need much product at all. The price is reasonable too. There is no strong scent to the product which is good. So far I have received some compliments that my skin looks a bit more glowy and my skin does feel a bit more plump. I do sometimes have a reaction to products (usually a rash or redness) but so far I haven’t had any reactions to this product. So overall I would consider using this product again.

I was a thicker serum which was easy to apply and wasn't strong smelling. found it to be non greasy or sticky and easy to apply. My skin felt really soft after applying and I did notice a nice glow. I did not notice however a reduction in pigment and fine lines but I suppose you can't have everything in one product. For the price too I think it is a really good purchase. I have tried more up market Vitamin C creams in the past but I would purchase this one over those any day. I haven't used a Swisse product in the past but after trying this serum I would definitely consider purchasing other Swisse products. Would definitely recommend!

I did notice my skin felt tight after and did require moisturiser right away. The pump application is great, one pump is enough to cover whole face - if you were to put it on neck you’d need more. As someone who has redness haven’t noticed a massive change in tone, but some texture has improved - particular on cheeks, it feels a bit smoother however haven’t noticed this on anywhere else. personally I wouldn’t purchase this despite the low price point. A nice addition to your skin care routine but not a game changer.

My skin is looking much brighter and feeling super hydrated. I’ve also noticed that my dark spots have reduced. It hasn’t irritated my skin aswell, so that’s also a bonus! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that is concerned about uneven skin tone, dark spots and pigmentation (to name a few). This has become a staple product in my skincare routine and I look forward to the other beauty products the Swisse brand releases!

It has a very faint scent that reminds me of honey. I really like the pump applicator - one pump is generous enough to easily cover the entire face as well as décolletage, absorbs quickly and feels nourishing. It seems to not like either my SPF and/or foundation because whenever I applied it in the morning followed by sunscreen and foundation I noticed my skin would pill for the rest of the day. This is disappointing because I would want to use this product morning and night. For this reason I personally wouldn't purchase again.

But I believe I have to keep using it much longer for a clear skin. Same on my teen daughter skin as well. It didn't had any side effects but needs more time to see the results. I have a few dark spots that have recently appeared and I had high hopes that this serum would help lighten the pigmentation. Unfortunately it's not the case yet. Maybe after further continued use this may change, I guess I have to be patient. It's easy to apply the correct amount due to the simple pump method, and the scent is quite pleasant. However I did not like that this serum gave my skin a sticky feeling after application. But I did begin to see my skin brighten a little and feel smoother. So I am hoping with continued use, I'll see greater improvement in my skin, as I didn't notice much difference in pigmentation. Also its great that this 10% Vitamin C serum is affordable.

I think if I had more time to use the product, my results would be different. I liked that the product didn’t have a strong scent to it and that it did just glide with ease onto the skin. I would however like to see the jar it comes in changed as I did find it difficult to open at times and sometimes the pump didn’t always work; otherwise great product for the price. I also love that you are regularly able to get this on half price at chemist in Australia

I love the combination of the Vitamin C and Niacinamide but I had a few breakouts on my chin during pms and I think the formula with the squalene didn't help at all. Anyway I am still applying on my checks to help with the dark spots too and a noticed a glow and more hydrated appearance of my skin.

I tend to be sensitive to niacinamide so I did experience some break outs when introducing this serum to my routine but unsure if this is just an initial purge.
