[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Featherlight Smoothing Crème for a few weeks now and haven't felt much need to use any of my other hair products which I'd normally use. I mainly use it after washing using the weighless Wonder shampoo and conditioner and left my hair air dry. I would concentrate on applying most of the product to the mid-length to the end of my hair. It definitely helped with controlling frizz but as promised didn't weigh down my hair. I feel as though this would work best in straight hair as it didn't promote/define my waves as much as I like.

The overall experience of using this was great and I saw the benefits of using the product. I like that there is flexibility in using it on dry or wet hair to achieve a particular look/style. The texture is smooth and nice but not overly heavy or thick which some other products that are similar can be. Really great to use to achieve a straight look with no flyaways. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend it to those with wavier or curlier hair - this is probably more for those who have already straight ish hair.

I didn't like the shampoo, the conditioner was good but this creme was so fantastic. My hair is bleached and I am in desperate need of a cut. So my fine hair is currently like straw and super frizzy and gets knotted just by looking at it. If I run my hands through my hair, there's always a knot. ALWAYS. So let me just say that I will repurchase this in a heartbeat. It made my hair sleeker and tangle free before styling and you can also use it to touch up when its hot and humid outside and your starting to look like a frizz ball with legs. I am so happy with this product as my hair now looks a lot more professional at work, is easier to style and has given me some wiggle room time before I get back to the hairdresser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The whole range for this product line smells great and the packaging is convenient in design in the form of a shallow pump for the Creme which is great for dispensing the right amount of product which you can add more to if needed. The feel of the product while using is great, it’s light and thin and really easy to distribute over the hair even while dry which I was concerned about. I don’t necessarily think it reduces frizz, though it is quite weightless whether used on wet or dry hair and leaves the hair feeling moisturised and soft which lasts longer than expected. I’m not sure whether I would repurchase, but I’m enjoying it while the bottle lasts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Smoothing creme [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this as a 3 part system with the shampoo and conditioner. My results were quite impressive as it takes a lot to tame my unruly, fine , thin , wavy hair ! But tame this did ! I used a small amount in my palm and spread it over the ends and mids of my damp hair. Then followed with drying and a straighter- which is my usual routine. My end result was beautifully soft and manageable hair . I will say that one time I used a bit too much and that left my hair feeling like it had product in it and not as nice as it previously had. So , I just ensure I use the smallest amount and I continue to get the beautiful hair that I have always wanted. I would definitely recommend trying this alongside the shampoo and conditioner.

I tried using the creme alongside with the shampoo and conditioner and did notice good structure and bounce to my hair after a few washes. I do not usually use any smoothing creme unless I remember too so I did have to make an effort to apply it for the past few weeks. So far I think it's doing its job really well except for the effort it takes to apply the smoothing creme of course. Hence the 4 star instead of 5. I am going to give it a few more weeks to see if without the constant application of the smoothing creme, if it would result in similar outcome. Fingers crossed!

It leaves my hair with soft frizz free hair. I used one pump of this (less is definitely more, not need a lot of product. If you use too much your hair will look oily and greasy only use a small amount. I rubbed it in my hands and applied with my fingers through my damp hair before blow drying. It feels nice when applying, The sent is not over powering. After blow-drying, I my hair felt smoother. Packaging is nice and simple

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing weightless frizz easing creme [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John Frieda frizz ease weightless wonder featherlight smoothing creme has exceeding my expectations. Having fine frizzy hair I am sceptical to use any additional wet products in my hair as most make my hair look oily and greasy. Generally after washing to reduce my frizz I would need to straighten my which of course causes it to break! In combination with using the John Frieda frizz ease shampoo and condition I am able to wash my hair and allow it dry naturally without needing to apply heat. I use this product while wet to ensure even coverage when brushing through.

But the Smoothing Creme might have me thinking otherwise. This creme is actually quite thin and watery in texture. And even though I feel like I have to use quite a bit of it, it doesn't make my hair feel heavy or sticky. It almost absorbs straight into the strands and it gives it an instant boost of moisture. I especially love it in dry hair because I can smooth it in, style my hair and be on with my day. If you have super fine hair that is prone to buildup, I would get my mitts on this for sure!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely product but nothing new [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] John freida has some amazing products, this is pretty average compared. I have very fine, bleached hair which can look greasy and weighed down pretty easily, this smooths my frizzy ends without building up too much product. It has a lovely smooth texture and a little goes a long way. My favourite way to use it is after dry shampoo to re moisturise without washing my hair. The scent is very similar to most of there other products, kind of an average clean scent which fades pretty quickly, It’s a shame it doesn’t have a nicer fragrance if you gravitate towards something different. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a light weight product to smooth damaged hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from recommended for thick frizzy hair [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The John Frieda Frizz Ease Featherlight Smoothing Creme was not my favourite smoothing/anti frizz product i've ever used but i can see how it would be a wonderful product for a different hair type to mine (i have thin, damaged and slightly oil prone hair). The directions are easy enough to follow and similar to other products of the same nature: Apply to wet or dry hair, one pump should be enough, rub into palms and run through your hair evenly, avoiding the roots (definitely avoid the roots if oily). No rinse required. The scent was a refreshing citrus which i did enjoy and one pump definitely was enough, so value for money/quantity is there. I found it did stick down my frizzy little baby hairs rather well but i did not love the thick heavy feeling that it left in my hair. Whether i applied it to wet or dry hair, i always felt too aware of the product and almost crunchy but this may be due to my thin hair. However, after a few hours it seems the product is still holding down majority of the frizz which is a massive plus. The directions do also state you can reapply and touch up as needed but i never felt the need to. Overall i am on the fence about this product, there are both pros and cons so i think it just depends on your personal style and hair type. I do recommend this to very unruly, frizzy, thick and dry hair.

I didn't find that it did a great job though at easing my frizzy sections. I thin it was a little too weightless so I had to also use hairspray. I found that this product was very watery - like watered down cream. The smell was lovely and packing bright and vibrant. I enjoyed using this product on dry hair rather than wet hair - I feel that it had a little more of an effect. I'm not sure whether I would purchase this product again, I think I need something a little thicker that really helps with frizz.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not my favourite [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn’t used any John Frieda products for years, so I was excited to be able to trial the new Frizz Ease Weightless Wonder range. Firstly, I have shoulder length fine hair that is prone to frizzing and struggle to find hair products that don’t weigh my hair down while controlling frizz. After enjoying the shampoo and conditioner from the same range, I had high hopes for the smoothing crème. The range has a beautiful fruity/floral scent that wasn’t overpowering and the smoothing crème comes in a sleek pump top bottle. I used a small amount of this product on both wet and dry hair, but sadly I didn’t love it as much as the shampoo and conditioner. Even though it’s designed for fine hair, I found it a little too heavy for me and my hair ended up looking quite flat.

I have very fine and dry hair and have hair extensions in at the moment too. I found this hasn’t helped with my frizz much at all, it also left my hair feeling quite oily and heavy meaning I had to rewash it sooner, I try to wash once or twice a week. I had paired it with the shampoo and the conditioner too on the occasions I used it. The product feels and smells amazing, it doesn’t have a ‘chemically’ smell to it which was really nice. The product is really lightweight and soft in your hands, but the packaging is deceiving. It states you need 1 pump to cover your hair. I felt like 1 pump barely covered 1/3 of my mid lengths and ends even when applying sparingly. It unfortunately did not make my hair any less frizzy, it actually made my ends quite dry. I will not re-purchase this product, I’m going to give the remaining to my mum for her to try as she has the same hair type as me. The packaging was aesthetically pleasing to look at with shimmery features and matte sections with glossy text.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did nothing to my hair, I wouldn’t recommend it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair is naturally frizzy and this did nothing to my hair. After using the shampoo and conditioner that is from the same range, I was hoping this would have done a better job at conditioning my hair and making it feel smooth and soft again, I was left very, very disappointed. It did nothing to my hair. My hair was left feeling rough which was the result from using the other products from this range and it didn’t help with the frizziness at all. I did not like it and had to use other products to fix my hair. I do not recommend this product, especially if you are like me and have very frizzy hair.
