I liked that it matched my skin tone beautifully & made my complexion appear much more even while still looking natural. It really didn't look like I had foundation on at all. It felt nice & light to wear, not at all heavy or cakey. I recommend this product to anyone looking to achieve a natural finish

Rated 3 out of 5 by from CoverGirl Foundation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On first impression it looked impressive, I liked the packaging and the white swirl, although I'm not too sure what is was for. The colour looked good for me. However, then I tried it, the first application with the supplied pad was cold and wet and just felt icky. It improved as I went along and the pad warmed up but it still felt sloppy, the application seemed quite thick. I did try it again another day with less on the pad, but I don't think it made much difference. The coverage was good, but it still seemed a little thick, didn't look natural. I would not be purchasing this one again, however thank you for the opportunity to review it.

When it arrived I was immediately impressed with the packaging and functionality of the nifty little compact with sponge included. It's cute and handy, and the shade was a really close match to my skin which I was really pleased with as it is often hard to gauge a match online. The only drawback for me was I struggled to achieve good coverage, particularly over my rosy cheeks without applying quite a lot of layers. I was also pleased about the SPF factor though. Overall a good product which I can see as super useful when travelling or not wanting to take a full kit.

The lid opens up and has a compartment for your sponge and then the foundation itself unscrews from the lid. So the sponge does not make any contact with the product. Inside the lid has grooves in it so it looks like you can remove the lid and use the grooves as a scrub/sponge cleaner. The product itself is lightweight and easy to apply to the face. It’s not thick or dense on application so you don’t feel as though you have much on. However, I didn’t feel like it gave me the coverage that I need. Not sure if it was the right colour match. I have olive skin, I did the skin match test and was sent out the warm beige. I would think beige was my match however I felt like it was a pale finish on my skin. I wouldn’t be able to use this foundation on its own. The package was cute for me. I do have wrinkles around my eyes and felt like there was not much difference on me but I do feel it smoothed out my face and skin tone a little.

It had a medium coverage and covered marks and redness well. Unfortunatley this didn’t quite match my skin tone so it was a little too light. I think it’s an average foundation for a supermarket brand but I prefer something probably a bit more liquidy so it’s a bit more buildable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was ok, I used it a couple of times, I did half a face then a full face with it but I felt it did not cover my wrinkles instantly, it seemed to only enhance them even more which was a bit disappointing. I may need a shade or 2 darker as it made my face look a little ghostly. I do like the little compartment at the bottom with the little makeup sponge, that's very handy, although a few breathing holes in the lid part would be handy too prevent any bacteria from growing on the sponge. I could use this as a concealer arpund my my eyes and nose areas, It would be perfect for that but not for a full face. The coverage it gave was beautiful, just not good for me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to test it, I did enjoy it just didn't get the best results.

I'm not sure bout the anti wrinkle part... didn't seem to notice any improvement in the look of my fine lines. It also enhanced a patch of dry skin I had on my temple which was not great. I think this suits people whose skin is free from acne or alike already.

It is quick and easy to apply, light weight, hydrating and has light to medium coverage. The product has a sponge included which makes the makeup application super quick and easy. The foundation glides smoothly on the skin and leaves your skin feeling hydrated. Additionally, the foundation didn’t settle in any lines making your skin look dewy and younger!! I found the coverage was natural looking for a everyday look. The product lasted all day without my skin looking patchy in areas of my face. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a natural every day look!! 3.5/5 stars!!

It did not make me feel itchy at all. I usually feel quite itchy within 5min, but this product is very light on the skin. In terms of coverage,I wouldn't say it completely covers all blemishes as I was hoping. However, I would still need to use other products underneath before applying Cover Girl Foundation. If you don't have much blemishes then this product is for you.

It was a little tricky getting into the container with a flip section and screw section. There were no application instructions at all on it and I had to google to know how best to apply which was quite annoying. The product did blend quite well into my skin but then didn’t provide the coverage I was looking for over acne. If you had no acne scars or red patches it would probably do quite well. I think maybe it made my fine lines less noticeable

Applying the product was good it went on smooth and felt nice. After that it didn't seem so great. My skin was cakey, it showed every imperfection and highlighted any dry skin areas. It didn't blend well on my skin and in all honesty every time I tried it and I dis try it at least 5 times at different parts of the day, I couldn't want to get it off. It just did not give me the coverage I was hoping for.

It felt incredibly heavy and cakey on my skin. This is a no for me, would not consider repurchasing at all. The only positive note was that it was a reasonably close match for my skin tone. Back to the lab with this one Covergirl - the competition in the mature market is far superior.

Unfortunately it just did not meet my expectations. The packaging is wonderful, and contains a little sponge applicator. But upon applying the foundation, I quickly discovered that the colour of the foundation was way too light and did not match the shade I had picked out. I am assuming this is due to the large white swirls mixed through the actual skin coloured product. I'm not sure what the purpose of these white swirls are, but it totally changes the foundation to an unusable, unblendable pale white colour. Very disappointing.
