Why is my Water Flosser leaking?
When used correctly Colgate Blast Water Flosser will not leak. Before you turn on your Water Flosser check the following:
1. The nozzle is fully inserted into the water flosser unit and sits flush against the top of your water flosser unit
2. The nozzle "clicked" when inserted.
3. The nozzle cannot be pulled out without the release button being pressed simultaneously.
4. Now you are ready to go - Happy Water Flossing!


How to Water Floss like a Pro
If you're new to using a water flosser here are some helpful tips. Place the nozzle tip in your mouth and purse your lips around it before you turn your water flosser on. Position yourself above the sink and lean forward so any extra water can flow out of your mouth and into the sink. If you prefer you can also use Colgate Blast in the shower as it is water resistant.


Can I put mouthwash in my Water Flosser?
Yes! You can fill the water tank with cold or warm water (up to 40C) or mouthwash. After use, drain and rinse out the water tank so your Colgate Blast Water Flosser is ready for its next use.


What pressure settings should I use?
Colgate Blast Water Flosser comes with 3 pressure settings: Gentle (low pressure mode), Regular (regular pressure mode for daily cleaning), Pulse (pulsation pattern for gum massaging). We recommend new users start with Gentle which is also the default setting. TIP: Colgate Blast Water Flosser will switch back on in the last pressure setting used.



How do I charge my Water Flosser?
Ensure power is turned OFF and the water tank is empty. Insert the USB charging cord into the charging port and attach the USB end to a power adaptor. Plug this into an outlet. When charging, the indicator light flashes green. The flashing stops once the device is fully charged. The indicator light will flash red when the battery is low.



Can I use my Water Flosser while it's charging?
No. Your Colgate Blast Water Flosser should be turned off and the water tank emptied while the device is charging.


How do I fill my Water Flosser?
Open the water tank, then pull the tank down to the marked line. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with either cold/lukewarm water or mouthwash. After filling the tank, close the cover firmly and dry off any excess water. TIP: Do not push the tank back into the water flosser body when it is filled.



How do I insert/remove the nozzle?
Remove the nozzle from the package and insert it into the nozzle jack at the top of your device until it clicks into place. A correctly inserted nozzle will sit flush against the top of the water flosser. To remove the nozzle, press and hold the eject button on the side of your device and gently pull the nozzle upwards. To store, place the nozzle in the storage compartment accessible at the top of your Colgate Blast Water Flosser.

Using the Water Flosser:
Place the nozzle into your mouth before turning the device on.
Align the nozzle against your teeth and gum line.
Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.
While flossing, open your mouth slightly to avoid water splashing.
Keep the flosser upright during use to prevent the tube in the tank from restricting water flow.
The water tank should allow for up to 60 seconds of flossing depending on the mode. Refill water tank as needed to floss between all teeth to complete your flossing session. Directions

Filling the Water Tank:
1. Open the water tank cover, then pull the tank down to the marked line
2. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with cold or warm water or with mouthwash. You may use warm water up to 40C/104F.
3. After filling the tank with water close the cover firmly, and dry off any excess liquid.
Note: ensure that the tank cover is open before extending the device to open the water tank.

Using the Water Flosser:
1. Place the nozzle into your mouth before turning the device on.
2. Align the nozzle against your teeth and gum line.
3. Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.
4. While flossing, open your mouth slightly to avoid water splashing.

6. The water tank should allow for at least 50 seconds of flossing depending on the mode. Refill water tank as needed to floss between all teeth to complete your flossing session.

The default mode for the water flosser is gentle, it is recommended to start on the gentle mode and gradually increase modes if desired.

It comes with the cordless flosser, 3 different nozzles plus a storage case for them and a USB charging cord in the box. The flosser has 5 different cleaning modes depending on what pressure is best for you and what cleaning need you are trying to accommodate. The first charge took about 2 hours to complete and lasted less than a week with twice daily usage, however I am sure it might have something to do with user error, having to turn it on and off quite a bit in learning the correct techniques. The flosser cleans quite well and I was left with a dentist clean feeling after the first use which was quite a surprise for me. If you do not use the full tank of water, it is difficult to fully empty to dry as the tank is attached to the flosser. I found I had to leave the filling hole open to try to dry it out. The nozzle also will not dry fully as it is quite narrow and hard to air out.

I think it makes a great addition to flossing teeth however I don’t think it should replace completely flossing your teeth. I found that I still needed to floss my teeth with tape to really get rid of the plaque. However, I found the water flosser great for removing debris from my teeth. I’m also not great at flossing every single day, so the water floss are can be a great when I just don’t feel like using the tape. But I definitely don’t recommend it replacing the tape. It did take me a few goes to get used to it and the different type of water pressure . It was definitely more pressure than I was expecting. But it’s pretty easy, friendly and easy to navigate

I used it straight after brushing my teeth at night, over the sink, and the water splashed EVERYWHERE! If you want to clean your bathroom mirrors every night, then keep using it this way, but after that experience, I read some reviews and realised the best time to use it was in the shower. After about the fourth day, I finally got the hang of it with the right settings for me and technique, so got to see some proper results. The water flosser did remove some of that fuzziness that accumulates over the day, so it did leave my teeth feeling a bit cleaner, but it certainly doesn't replace a good manual toothbrush and string floss, particularly for between the back teeth where it (or my technique) seemed to struggle to get a good clean. It's a cool device, and probably useful for those with braces, but it's not a necessity. I wouldn't be buying this product at full RRP.

I didn’t initially read the instructions because it looked pretty straight forward! But then I made a huge mess and watered down the whole bathroom sink and mirror! Haha. It’s quite strong and the settings are adjustable ranging from gentle to normal to deep clean and even massage. You have to keep your mouth somewhat slightly closed to keep the water from going everywhere - this can be a little bit of a downfall of the product for those who like to ‘see what they’re doing’. Then again, the product bigger than your electric toothbrush and holds a decent amount of water so I guess this is expected. The size of it means you need to make space for it especially if you want to keep storing it in its packaging. I’d say it’s like going to the dentist but without the help of the dental assistant to keep water at bay! I also love that you can fill it with mouthwash too! “blast” is literally the perfect word

I fully charged up the flosser until the charging light stopped blinking and filled it with water before my first use. The buttons are quite simple to understand but it took me a bit to get my head around them! I trialled all the different flosser attachments and speeds and ended up preferring the regular attachment on the regular setting. I was surprised that I was able to get the jet to reach all the way to the back of my mouth and clean thoroughly. Only things that I'd note is that the battery life was less than it advertises and I would need to fill the water chamber twice to thoroughly floss on the regular setting. I'm looking forward to my dentist being happy with me!

Only downfall, the base closes back up sometimes during use, as the water is drained, and blocks the power off button, doesnt always do this so not sure if its a problem with mine or not, only problem is that blocks the power off button and you have to drain the water to turn it off.

Extremely easy to use, and clean. Packaging is wonderful, and instructions very easy to use and understand. Product felt very gentle on my gums, and i loved that it had a waterproof design so could be used in the shower on the go. Fantastic to have multiple pressure modes, depending on gum sensitivity. So easy to use- and my teeth definetely appear whiter after use. I also love that the rechargeable battery means no worrying about cables with babies in the house. Only downfall is that unit is so compact that it doesn't hold a lot of water- multiple refills needed. Definetely a fantastic alternative to regular dental floss and i'd consider buying it for family members in the future. Well done Colgate!!

Whilst I would have liked to have the option to have a bit more of a powerful blast, it still does the job. The main thing is to make sure that you have your finger on the power button at all times, so you don’t accidentally change it to pulse instead of off. Then when you take it out of your mouth, it becomes a water pistol. It’s certainly a lot more gentle than regular dental floss, although occasionally you do still need to reach for it if you have something tough stuck. But for day to day, after brushing clean, it certainly does the trick. Being able to compact it down for travelling also helps too and the battery lasts a lot longer than anticipated.

This flosser just literally blasts any food particles out from in between your teeth just like the dentist does with their water flosser. I would definitely recommend this water flosser.

The charger is a standard micro-USB, which is also fantastic. The unit is easy to use, with three modes to select. You are able to select the mode before turning the unit on, which is a nice feature. The full mode is a little too powerful for my gums, but the gentle seemed fine. The one/off button could be a little more tactile, which would make it easier to turn off without pulling the unit out of your mouth and spraying water everywhere. My only real concern is that the internal water reservoir never seems to dry out completely. Even after leaving it popped out for a full day, there was still water inside the chamber. I'm concerned that this will eventually lead to mould grow, which is the last thing you want to shoot into your gums.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient and easy to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great product, easy to use and can help one get into the habit of flossing regularly. Being cordless makes it very convenient for someone who doesn't have space on their bathroom sink for a bulky unit. It comes with a USB charging cable that takes around 4 hours to charge and then it's good to go for a long time. The water tank is on the smaller side and last for 60 seconds before one has to stop for a refill. A timer that alerts one at 30 seconds would have been handy to ensure full coverage within the recommended 60 seconds water flossing. The water pressure is strong enough to get plaque out from around teeth without cuts or swollen gums that a standard dental floss causes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great alternative to traditional floss. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Colgate blast cordless water flosser is pretty good! It makes flossing the back molars much easier than traditional floss. At first it was a bit tricky and messy to use, however it only took 1 - 2 days to work out the best way for me. I really like the convenience of not needing to buy traditional floss and that I can use water or mouth wash for an extra clean. Its great that it is rechargeable and doesn't require any batteries. I do find that I am always using 2 - 3 tanks per flossing session as I really like to get in between all my teeth so a bigger water reservoir would be good, but I'm not sure how that would be achieved and still make it easy to use/hold. The only other thing I found a little fiddly was the power button is not easy to find whilst in use, unless you keep your finger on it. But all in all, I will certainly continue to use this water flosser daily and am pretty happy with the results it gives.

I would still prefer to use floss, however for my wife it was a better option. She struggles with flossing as her teeth are really close and finds it hard to get the floss between her teeth. Water flossing helped improve her oral hygiene
