Why is my Water Flosser leaking?
When used correctly Colgate Blast Water Flosser will not leak. Before you turn on your Water Flosser check the following:
1. The nozzle is fully inserted into the water flosser unit and sits flush against the top of your water flosser unit
2. The nozzle "clicked" when inserted.
3. The nozzle cannot be pulled out without the release button being pressed simultaneously.
4. Now you are ready to go - Happy Water Flossing!


How to Water Floss like a Pro
If you're new to using a water flosser here are some helpful tips. Place the nozzle tip in your mouth and purse your lips around it before you turn your water flosser on. Position yourself above the sink and lean forward so any extra water can flow out of your mouth and into the sink. If you prefer you can also use Colgate Blast in the shower as it is water resistant.


Can I put mouthwash in my Water Flosser?
Yes! You can fill the water tank with cold or warm water (up to 40C) or mouthwash. After use, drain and rinse out the water tank so your Colgate Blast Water Flosser is ready for its next use.


What pressure settings should I use?
Colgate Blast Water Flosser comes with 3 pressure settings: Gentle (low pressure mode), Regular (regular pressure mode for daily cleaning), Pulse (pulsation pattern for gum massaging). We recommend new users start with Gentle which is also the default setting. TIP: Colgate Blast Water Flosser will switch back on in the last pressure setting used.



How do I charge my Water Flosser?
Ensure power is turned OFF and the water tank is empty. Insert the USB charging cord into the charging port and attach the USB end to a power adaptor. Plug this into an outlet. When charging, the indicator light flashes green. The flashing stops once the device is fully charged. The indicator light will flash red when the battery is low.



Can I use my Water Flosser while it's charging?
No. Your Colgate Blast Water Flosser should be turned off and the water tank emptied while the device is charging.


How do I fill my Water Flosser?
Open the water tank, then pull the tank down to the marked line. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with either cold/lukewarm water or mouthwash. After filling the tank, close the cover firmly and dry off any excess water. TIP: Do not push the tank back into the water flosser body when it is filled.



How do I insert/remove the nozzle?
Remove the nozzle from the package and insert it into the nozzle jack at the top of your device until it clicks into place. A correctly inserted nozzle will sit flush against the top of the water flosser. To remove the nozzle, press and hold the eject button on the side of your device and gently pull the nozzle upwards. To store, place the nozzle in the storage compartment accessible at the top of your Colgate Blast Water Flosser.

Using the Water Flosser:
Place the nozzle into your mouth before turning the device on.
Align the nozzle against your teeth and gum line.
Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.
While flossing, open your mouth slightly to avoid water splashing.
Keep the flosser upright during use to prevent the tube in the tank from restricting water flow.
The water tank should allow for up to 60 seconds of flossing depending on the mode. Refill water tank as needed to floss between all teeth to complete your flossing session. Blast can be used with mouthwash or dentist's recommended solution (do not swallow), but after use, wash the device thoroughly.

Directions

Filling the Water Tank:
1. Open the water tank cover, then pull the tank down to the marked line

3. After filling the tank with water close the cover firmly, and dry off any excess liquid.
Note: ensure that the tank cover is open before extending the device to open the water tank.

3. Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.

It is a very sustainable way to floss your teeth given there is no byproduct. There is a learning curve required for how to properly use and maintain the flosser. There was no easy descriptive way besides having to read the manual completely, which then I did. When you start IT WILL be uncomfortable and you will end up with water all around. That's okay because the product does actually work. Just after the first try, you will know what you're doing like a pro. The battery life is amazing and the storage compartment is really helpful. I am happy with the product and will totally recommend it. It does its job very well, is a cute gadget to own, and motivates you to floss more often.

It is a nice lightweight small design, which fits perfectly into your hand, and doesn't take up too much space in the bathroom. I was surprised at the power of the water stream coming out of this small device, it is powerful enough to flush out all the nasties between you teeth. It comes with 3 different flossing settings. After an initial 5 or 10 minutes of familiarisation the product becomes easy to use, the water tank is big enough and in those situations where you are still flossing and the water runs out it is simply to run the tap and go again. I am someone who doesn't reguarly floss as much as I should and I am hoping this water flosser becomes something I use reguarly to improve my oral health.

Water gets everywhere so you must floss over the sink. Despite this, I think it’s a really good product as my teeth feel cleaner than when I use standard dental floss. Initially it took me a minute to get the technique right, but once I did it worked a dream and I was surprised the efficiency of it. I will say that despite reducing the pressure I still dribbled water constantly. It is definitely something to do over the sink and has a bit of cleanup required. I also had to refill the water a couple of times initially but as I am getting used to the process I am not wasting as much water so less refill required. Overall I think this is a great concept and I will definitely be continuing to use it and recommending to my family and friends!!

I just don’t feel like it gets as deep between teeth as normal flossing does. When I flossed with string floss for the first time in 2 weeks after using this product, my gums started bleeding - which is usually an indication for me that I haven’t been flossing enough! So id say it’s not as effective as string floss, but it’s way more fun and makes flossing less of chore.

Although it was quite hard to get used to as you'll get wet if you use it incorrectly. Some inprovements i would consider is make it a little bit slower Pressure(adjustable) as it will help people get used to the water spitting out at high pressures. Although those little imperfections it is a good product overall, it is a smart unique product and i would much rather use this than using string flossers.am happy to use this and thanks to Home tester club for choosing me.

My teeth and gums have never been healthier. The five modes of flossing worked well. The only downside is the interactive LED display. Could not read this and didn’t light up. Even when it did light up it was almost invisible and was not suited to it’s function.
