Why is my Water Flosser leaking?
When used correctly Colgate Blast Water Flosser will not leak. Before you turn on your Water Flosser check the following:
1. The nozzle is fully inserted into the water flosser unit and sits flush against the top of your water flosser unit
2. The nozzle "clicked" when inserted.
3. The nozzle cannot be pulled out without the release button being pressed simultaneously.
4. Now you are ready to go - Happy Water Flossing!


How to Water Floss like a Pro
If you're new to using a water flosser here are some helpful tips. Place the nozzle tip in your mouth and purse your lips around it before you turn your water flosser on. Position yourself above the sink and lean forward so any extra water can flow out of your mouth and into the sink. If you prefer you can also use Colgate Blast in the shower as it is water resistant.


Can I put mouthwash in my Water Flosser?
Yes! You can fill the water tank with cold or warm water (up to 40C) or mouthwash. After use, drain and rinse out the water tank so your Colgate Blast Water Flosser is ready for its next use.


What pressure settings should I use?
Colgate Blast Water Flosser comes with 3 pressure settings: Gentle (low pressure mode), Regular (regular pressure mode for daily cleaning), Pulse (pulsation pattern for gum massaging). We recommend new users start with Gentle which is also the default setting. TIP: Colgate Blast Water Flosser will switch back on in the last pressure setting used.



How do I charge my Water Flosser?
Ensure power is turned OFF and the water tank is empty. Insert the USB charging cord into the charging port and attach the USB end to a power adaptor. Plug this into an outlet. When charging, the indicator light flashes green. The flashing stops once the device is fully charged. The indicator light will flash red when the battery is low.



Can I use my Water Flosser while it's charging?
No. Your Colgate Blast Water Flosser should be turned off and the water tank emptied while the device is charging.


How do I fill my Water Flosser?
Open the water tank, then pull the tank down to the marked line. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with either cold/lukewarm water or mouthwash. After filling the tank, close the cover firmly and dry off any excess water. TIP: Do not push the tank back into the water flosser body when it is filled.



How do I insert/remove the nozzle?
Remove the nozzle from the package and insert it into the nozzle jack at the top of your device until it clicks into place. A correctly inserted nozzle will sit flush against the top of the water flosser. To remove the nozzle, press and hold the eject button on the side of your device and gently pull the nozzle upwards. To store, place the nozzle in the storage compartment accessible at the top of your Colgate Blast Water Flosser.

Using the Water Flosser:
Place the nozzle into your mouth before turning the device on.
Align the nozzle against your teeth and gum line.
Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.
While flossing, open your mouth slightly to avoid water splashing.
Keep the flosser upright during use to prevent the tube in the tank from restricting water flow.
The water tank should allow for up to 60 seconds of flossing depending on the mode. Refill water tank as needed to floss between all teeth to complete your flossing session. Blast can be used with mouthwash or dentist's recommended solution (do not swallow), but after use, wash the device thoroughly.

Directions

Filling the Water Tank:
1. Open the water tank cover, then pull the tank down to the marked line
2. Lay the flosser flat, face the opening towards the faucet and fill with cold or warm water or with mouthwash. You may use warm water up to 40C/104F.
3. After filling the tank with water close the cover firmly, and dry off any excess liquid.
Note: ensure that the tank cover is open before extending the device to open the water tank.

2. Align the nozzle against your teeth and gum line.
3. Work the nozzle along the gumline, paying special attention to the area between teeth and around braces.
4. While flossing, open your mouth slightly to avoid water splashing.

6. The water tank should allow for at least 50 seconds of flossing depending on the mode. Refill water tank as needed to floss between all teeth to complete your flossing session.

I preferred to use warm water because the cold water was a shock to my sensitive teeth. I've been using it for a whole week and still have not had to recharge it. It is so much better for the environment than the plastic disposable flossing sticks and works better too. Really can't say enough good things about this awesome little machine.

I’ve been using this Flosser and the results are unbelievable with the three pressure modes it really gets in between my teeth and gentle on my gums and removes all the plaque and food that gets stuck in my teeth. I love how compact it is, and how I can floss my teeth in the shower. Its easy to charge with its charging cable. It has a water tank and Built in nozzle which is really cool as well. The pressure blasts away all the plaque stuck in my teeth and I’m very surprised how strong the pressure is too. The only thing I could fault is that the device is aqua and it was so hard to see the charging light if it was on, but other than that it really works well on my teeth.

I read the instructions & did not find it messy at all & the tank lasts long enough to do a full floss. It certainly does the job better than string floss or piksters. I have narrow gaps between my teeth and can't believe I waited so long to get one. Great product & definitely travel friendly.

It is user friendly and the fact that it has a USB charger makes it 10 times easier to charge. It is a compact waterflosser so you don't need much storage plus very quiet and doesn't create a high noise next to your ears.Definitely recommended.

With normal floss I never have the patience to floss between every tooth let alone doing it every day. This water flosser makes flossing so easy. It took a little bit of getting used to, but now I have the hang of it, it's super easy. My gums feel really clean after use, it's really satisfying.
