Directions

Remove Micellar Reusable Eco Pads from box and wash thoroughly with soap & water before first use. Saturate the Reusable Eco Pad with Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and gently swipe eye, face and lip areas. Continue until make-up is removed and skin is cleansed. To clean your Micellar Reusable Eco Pads: Hand wash with soap and water after each use. For a deeper clean, toss into the washing machine with your laundry once a week (do not use fabric softener). Lay flat to dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a user of Garnier's Micellar Water since 2016 and absolutely swear by it - so when I heard about this release I was very excited to give it a try! Firstly, it's very soft on the skin. I try to avoid makeup wipes as it not only tugs on the skin, by also dries out my skin at the end. However, these pads made the experience a lot easier as it was gentle on the skin whilst still removing everything it needed to. As I have sensitive skin - this didn't cause any form of reaction. Also, I love how it's usable up to 1000 times - makes it so much more worth the price and reduces waste!

The pack consists of three reusable pads aimed at repacking disposable cotton pads. I found the Garnier pads very soft and absorbed the Micellar water well but didn’t waste product. It was easy to wipe my face clean, removing makeup, oil and dirt. I also used the pads for my other liquid products such as eye makeup remover, toner and BHA exfoliant. The pads worked well with these too! I washed them in the washing machine and they cleaned fairly well, but some traces of eye makeup was left behind. The pads are just as effective after washing and I look forward to using them again and again.

First thoughts were - Nice packaging, love the pink colour & eco friendly - perfect! Some positives! - Easily removes makeup & mascara without any forceful rubbing - Easy to wash makeup off the pad - They dry out quickly after use - Amazing for the environment - no more single use cotton pads! The only thing you have to watch is how you hold the pad to apply the Micellar water - the first time i did it it didn't absorb & ran off all over the floor. So hold it up & over the sink! Now that its had some use its much better at absorbing the product. Overall - a really innovative, clever product that will save a lot of waste from cotton pads - and an easy way to remove makeup & stubborn mascara. Super impressed by the softness and how gentle they are to use! Also great value for money being able to reuse them so many times!

I used this in conjunction with garnier micellar water which I found to be an easy, gentle and effective way to remove my make up and skincare! The pads are thin but flimsy- as in hard to maintain its shape while in use. But it's thinness makes them easy to clean and dry- and i cleaned them using regular bar soap. I was surprised by how clean they got- they found that when I used the oil/micellar water it did not wash out as effectively. Best to be used with the original formula!

I’m all about sustainability & Reusing so this item was right up my alley. It’s the perfect size to fit in my makeup bag while travelling. The eco pad is super soft and a decent size as well. First swipe with the eco pad & the micellar water and my make up came off instantly, then once the pad was completely covered it was less effective. Washing it was super easy, but with my first use I hand washed and my fountain stained. The micellar cleansing water is also a good product, I’ve previous bought and will continue to purchase and it’s one of my must haves in my make up bag, only problem I have with it is with daily use it does make my face feel dry. I only tend to use it every couple of days.

It's great that they're good for the environment, and I'd absolutely buy them over one use makeup wipes or pads. They're soft on the skin and the one I'm using (got it a few weeks ago) is still going strong. However, I do find they soak up a lot of product so you need to use more to remove makeup, as opposed to some other makeup remover pads. Also, although they're easy to wash the foundation colour remains in them no matter how much effort I put into washing them, so they do tend to look dirty pretty quickly. They're smaller than a lot of other makeup removing pads but I don't actually think this is a bad thing. It takes longer to get foundation off, but it's easier to get eye makeup off as they get around your eyes more easily.

I really enjoyed using the Garnier Micellar Reusable Eco Pads. I found them the perfect size and found they were super easy to use. I love that they are re-usable and washable in the washing machine WIN WIN! I really like that brands are becoming more planet friendly and thinking about the design and longevity of their products as the products we use have such an impact on our environment. These pads can also be used for other products like toners. I will purchase these Micellar Reusable Eco Pads, when these ones have had a good life. The only thing to note is that the makeup does stain the pad a bit over-time, which is to be expected. I found washing them immediately is the way to keep them as stain-free as possible.

I topped the Garnier micellar water onto these and then wiped my face with them. They removed most of my makeup, but some of my foundation was still left on my face. I think I prefer to use a Muslim cloth or flannel over these (as they're more effective for makeup removal), however they were still quite nice on my skin. They would be good to cleanse the face of you don't have makeup on. They were pretty easy to wash afterwards, however some staining from my foundation was difficult to clean off. Overall, they were good but not the best at removing makeup.

I found they did a pretty decent job of removing makeup. The only part it struggled removing was some of my eyeliner. I had quite heavy make up for a dance performance (hair sprayed on), I went over with a make up remover wipe afterwards and no make up came off. I like that these are eco friendly and re use able. I gave a friend one to try and she also enjoyed using it. I would definitely purchase these in store and recommend others to try them.

Having used other eco-pads in the past I was really pleased with how soft the product feels on my skin! When used with the micellar water, a little bit goes a long way. The pad soaks up the water quickly which makes it quick and ready to use. I found it removed a lot of the foundation and other makeup and was easy to wash both by hand and in the washing machine. My only issue was it didn't quite get all the mascara off - it took a few more attempts. Will definitely continue to use these!

These reusable eco pads are incredibly soft and very gentle on the skin. The product claims to remove makeup in just one swipe when used in conjunction with the Garnier Micellar Water however depending on the amount and type of makeup it does take a bit more effort. I found I needed to use a bit more force and go over the area a few more times when using liquid eyeliner, glitter eyeshadow, and matte liquid lipstick. I was unable to remove all the makeup from pad (namely the matte lipstick) when washing with just soap and water but I'm sure a round through the washing machine will fix it. Overall a great product and I would recommend to others looking for a more gentle and eco friendly alternative to regular cotton rounds.

Overall, I really enjoyed use this cleansing pads. They were very effective in removing makeup and buildup when used in conjunction with the micellar water. I liked how soft these made my skin feel and my skin wasn't dry or irritated at all. These were incredibly easy to use and definitely served their purpose. The reason I am not giving these 5 starts, is that I found It difficult to clean these. It took a while for the product to be completely drained out of these and also took a while to dry. Other than that, I would definitely recommend these to anyone with dry, sensitive skin who is looking for an effective addition to their cleansing routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before trialling the Micellar Reusable Eco Pads, I had seen them advertised almost every I looked - television advertisements, magazines and even social media, but I didn't quite get what the hype was for. Yes, they were reusable, but couldn't you just use a normal face cloth instead? So I was curious to try them out for myself, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of them in the post! First impressions: the packaging was simple, yet the colours really stood out - various shades of pink, which contrasted with the green. It was also labelled well, and indicated what exactly was in the packaging - 3 reusable cotton eco pads. The cardboard packaging was also recyclable, which was a positive! About the pads: when taking the eco pads out of the box, they feel very soft and are a microfibre polyester material. One side of the pad is pink, and the other is white, however, either side can be used to wipe off makeup/residue. I used these pads with micellar water, and they worked well to get most of the product off my face. They soaked up the micellar water well, however, there was some eyeliner/mascara that was left smudged on my face, (but cannot say whether this was the products fault or my own). The only downside to these pads is that they are quite small, and when soaked in the micellar water, they become quite soggy and difficult to handle. The packaging also says that they last up to 1000 washes, but after only a few washes, they were no longer as soft as when I first used them. Overall, I may purchase these Micellar Reusable Eco Pads again, however, I won't need to for a long while, as there are 3 pads in each box, and each pad is reusable.

And I can say I loved these. I prefer these pads rather than disposable ones. I liked how easy they are to wash by hand or how you can just throw them into the washing machine. I use the Garnier micelles water all the time and tried it with the pads and they work together perfectly. The eco pads are super absorbent and so soft on my skin and it removed my makeup really easily. It’s definitely a product I would recommend.

Does an ok job of removing makeup, but the pads don’t wash clean when washing them straight after in the sink, nor in the washing machine. Because they still look dirty after a cycle in the washing machine, it’s off-putting to re-use them. I don’t fancy soaking them in bleach or similar before washing just so they look clean, when ordinary wash cloths wash cleanly in the washing machine.

I think the execution is a bit lacking. Yes, the fabric feels oh so soft (I’d love a blanket out of it) and it certainly does the job it’s meant to by removing your makeup. I personally find that the fabric bunches up while using it, it was a simple fix to the design to stop this. Just ran them through my sewing machine putting a stitch through the middle. The environmentally friendly ideals behind it are awesome, but I still need to buy cotton rounds as I use them for nail polish removal and I don’t think anyone has found a lasting reusable one for that just yet. So yeah, in the end it was a great idea, just the execution was lacking for me personally

I think because for work I wear heavier makeup whenever I try reusable ones there's just so much residue left over especially from mascara even after washing. These are however extremely soft to touch and use on the face. I think the material could slightly rougher because I feel like it just glides over the skin there's not enough grip to really remove makeup well. They are a little big for my liking I would have preferred them a bit smaller but that's just a personal preference.

Firstly, these are so so soft so brilliant quality, and really well priced especially when on offer at boots. However. As soft as they are, and I want to love them, but these are just not practical! Other reviewers have noted this so definitely keep this in mind, but these are double sided so you physically can’t clean/ wipe your face as the sides just slide against each other so you end up pulling your skin and not cleaning it. If they just had one side they would be lovely but it’s a big issue and you just can’t use them for makeup removal at all. I don’t want to waste them so instead I will just use them more like a flannel, but to take your makeup off, these aren’t the ones. A shame because it’s so important to reduce the amount of cotton pads we use!

I have small hands and I think its good for me. The cleaning capability of the eco pads is good. I use it with micellar water to clean my makeup and mascara. Its cleans well. But, while cleaning the mascara, the black marks stains the pads. They are not washable very well. So, if you look my eco pad now, its a piece with multiple black stains. Good for home usage but not if I am among people, I will not use it. I tried removing these stains from the pad but they just don't wash away. This is more like one time usage when there are stains after the first use. I think it would be ideal if there are sizes available for the eco pads like medium and large . These pads can be small for a larger hand.

Because these are super soft they’re so gentle on your face and not rough so there is no irritation too, the reusable pads are a decent alternative to cotton pads and more environmentally friendly. I will probably use these just for cleansing my face with micelar water and use other similar products to remove makeup that I know work well. Unfortunately I find these hard to wash properly and I going they still had makeup stained on the actual eco pad so i probably wouldn’t purchase these.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Leah P. from Not as good as it should be [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Garnier generally, but sadly, I found their Micellar Reusable Eco Pads to fall a little short of expectations. This comes in a pack of three, and while I quite like the colour of them (pink on one side, and white on the other), this also means that it's actually a little tricky to wash in order to get the colour out of them. First, the pros. I love that the use of them means that you don't end up throwing away a million little bits of cotton pad on a regular basis. They do take off a lot of your makeup, BUT it's a little hard to grip, because it feels like two pieces of material placed together, so you can't quite swipe it downwards without it kind of slipping in the hands. This can make it a little annoying, and I find that I need to use a bit more force, as a result. I also don't feel like it takes off everything in the first couple of goes, so I have to do up to about 5 passes or so. Ultimately, I feel like the intention is there, but it doesn't work as well as I'd like for it to.

Rated 3 out of 5 by E L. from Soft and fluffy reusable cleansing pads [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the box, there are 3 soft, fluffy, reusable cleansing pads of about 10cm in diameter and with a claim that each pad can be washed 1,000 times. This product reduces the use of disposable cotton, but it does require to be washed each time with soap and water - it’s hard to say what’s better for the environment in the long run? It’s a bit like disposable nappies vs cloth nappies, isn’t it? Sorry, that’s probably the new mum in me talking! There's a pink and white side, with the white side being the cleansing side. I found that this provided gentle physical exfoliation that smooths skin and easily removed makeup and sunscreen without tugging my skin. Just one pad is required to clean the whole face. When I used this pad with water only, it was able to remove most face makeup, but not mascara. I needed makeup remover for that. When applying the Garnier Micellar Water on the pad, it has a tendency of spilling over the pad, causing some wastage. The pad does stain with makeup, even when washing the pad straight after with soap. After putting it through a laundry cycle, the stains came out, but I'm not sure if it's my washing machine, but the pink side faded and the white side became grey and therefore didn't return to its original fresh looking colours.

Honestly they were ok but could be a bit better. I liked the size and colour of them but felt they were a bit flimsy. I also felt like I had to use a fair bit of micellar water on them so not sure if this was due to the pads or the micellar water itself. In all though they were ok and I think to take them with you travelling would be great. They also last a while and are good over one use wipes which i always like to have the option for reusable items

They did a good job of removing my makeup when used with micelar water, though I don’t wear heavy makeup. The only problem was that traces of eye makeup remain after washing. Otherwise they are a decent alternative to cotton pads and more environmentally friendly. I’ll probably use these just for cleansing my face with micelar and use other similar products to remove makeup. The three pack is handy as I hand wash each pad after use and pop them in the washing machine each time I wash.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Emily E. from Good but not revolutionary [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These wipes were super soft, and worked well with the micellar water, I don't think it really wasted much more product then using normal wipes. I kind of liked that using the micellar wipes made the produce a little foamy when you're removing makeup. I do tend to need to go in twice with these and I would say I wear light makeup. However I did notice that the eco pads aren't biodegradable and are just going to go into the general waste when they reach the end so whether they are more eco then paper wipes is something to investigate if that's your reason for purchasing.

It's good that it can be machine washed. Although I did find it soaked the product up a little too much when used, it was soft and easy to use on the face and very eco friendly. I found the packaging to appealing to a extent, it doesn't pop out to much though, but it is nicely packed. The size is great to pack for travelling just pop in your make up bag. Although I don't believe you could get 1000 uses out of it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kirra H. from Good Eco-Friendly Attempt, Does Need Some Work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Garnier Reusable Eco Pads are a unique change from a well-known makeup brand, and it's good to see the company provide an alternative option to the standard (and wasteful) cotton pads that most people use from the very start. When reviewing the product, I found it was quite useful due to its size, washability and general ease of use. As a review crew member, I was offered these pads with some of Garnier's Micellar Water, and I found that whilst I had to use quite a bit of product to remove my makeup effectively, that the pads were gentler on my skin to use than most general cotton pads can be. Like any cotton pad replacement, it takes some time to get used to removing your makeup. However, due to the eco-friendly aspect of it, I hope Garnier takes notes of the criticisms to create a useful, functional and viable product for any consumer in the makeup world to choose from over the standard cotton pad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kathrine M. from Good but not good enough [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good for wiping the dirt away but not good enough in removing all make up. The purpose is great to help the environment but for sensitive skin like mine, i will still go for the cotton pads. Reusable pads does the job but if not cleaned properly will grow bacteria that causes irritation to the skin. One thing more is that the pad soaks up more of the product than the usual cotton pads. It is good to try but make sure that they are washed properly. I won't recommend this to those busy people who does not have time to wash them but for those who are trying to help the environment and won't forget to thtow them in the wash then it is worth a try.
