What is retinol?
Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that helps stimulate skin cell turnover, which decreases with age. Retinol can refine and resurface the skin to improve the appearance of wrinkles, texture, and uneven tone.

How to use retinol?

Directions

"Your skin will need time to get used to Retinol. It is recommended to introduce gradually. Apply 3-4 drops to clean, dry skin in the evening before Revitalift Laser Night Moisturiser. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 the morning after.

No reactions were experienced using this and it's easy to use by extracting from the bottle with the dropper and putting some onto your hand to apply to your face. I have noticed after continuous usage that my overall complexion seems a lot clearer and smoother so I will definitely continue using this product.

The texture is light but the smell was a bit overwhelming for me. I have to admit that it made my skin more smooth and plump, definitely reduced the texture irregularities that I had. I noticed results fairly quickly from the Vitamin C (day) serum, my skin definitely looked brighter and more awake in the mornings, I didn'tnoticea masive difference in my pore size however. The Retinol (night) serum was sometimes hard to dispense but by the end of the 4 weeks fine lines around my eyes seemed to have reduced slightly. By around day 5 of the trial I experienced a little bit of irritation and redness under my eyes and on my forehead this occured again towards the end of my review time; and other skin care products that were previously ok seemed to feel a bit tingly during usage. Overall though, these serums gave some good results and were easy to incorporate into my daily skincare routine.

This was because I felt like my skin needed a little more adjustment to this concentration. The mornings after this application, my skin felt very smooth and refined. In combination with the vitamin C serum, the smoothness really emphasised that my fine lines were really reduced, with just four weeks of use. I thought that the floral fragrance was just a bit too strong for my liking. I think it would be nicer with less fragrance. Overall, I think these two serums are a great combination to use, especially for someone with fine wrinkles who would like to achieve smoother skin. I will have to use it longer to observe any deep wrinkle success. I would happily purchase this for continuation of my new skin care routine.
