What is retinol?
Retinol is a form of Vitamin A that helps stimulate skin cell turnover, which decreases with age. Retinol can refine and resurface the skin to improve the appearance of wrinkles, texture, and uneven tone. 

How to use retinol?
Pure Retinol is a potent ingredient, your skin will need time to adjust. Introduce gradually. Week 1: Apply Pure Retinol 2 nights a week before Hydra Genius. Week 2: use every other night. Week 3: use nightly as tolerated. Follow with SPF in AM.

Can Retinol be used by all skin types or ages?
Retinol can be used by all skin types and ages. Retinol use in your 20's and 30's is important for preventing early signs of aging. In your 40's and 50's Retinol will continue to work on cell turnover, and wrinkles, including deep one.

How long does Retinol take to work?
After day 1, the skin feels moisturised with a more refined texture.

Directions

"Your skin will need time to get used to Retinol. It is recommended to introduce gradually. Apply 3-4 drops to clean, dry skin in the evening before Revitalift Laser Night Moisturiser. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 the morning after.

I noticed that my lines was slightly lighter within 10 consecutive days of using the product. My skin was also nice and smooth and the serum was hydrating enough on its own, even if you do not add a moisturizer on top.

The vitamin c serum was a great addition to my morning spf moisturiser helping eliminate the dryness in my skin due to Hashimoto's. I find It hard to find a moisturiser that is gentle on my skin but yet provides enough moisture to help with the dryness and flakiness of my skin but adding the vitamin c serum definitely helped and bonus could use it with my own morning moisturiser. Then with the addition of the night serum it is helping with those dreadful fine lines you inherit as you get older, my skin is feeling alot more smoother and yes I am seeing a difference in those pesky fine lines especially on me forehead above my eyebrows. Would I use this combination again absolutely if I found them on special as its giving me the moisture and smoothness back in my skin that I haven't felt for ages. Also a big apology for the late review as I had to do a mad dash to Sydney with my father taken to hospital

The scent of the product is nice, and not overpowering. The directions say to use 3-4 drops a night, however I used 1-2 more as I also wanted to use it along my neckline. I did see results of darker lines becoming finer again.

The retinol concentrate is potent and very powerful, you can see the difference straight away with a supple and well hydrated skin. I will definitely buy this serum over and over again because it's very effective and cheaper but more powerdul than other retinol serums.

Retinol also is good however I did notice when using certain moisturisers (Benzac for me) I had a reaction so it’s important to be careful what you mix the products with.
