Rated 5 out of 5 by from I received five different shades of Maybelline New York Master Camo Colour-Correcting Pens, which are suitable for very fair to very dark skin tones. I found that three of them are suitable for my light to medium skin tone. \n\n Maybelline New York Master Camo Colour-Correcting Pens comes with a foam tip application wand while the product comes out when I twist the pen. The colour correctors are highly pigmented and I only need small amount for each use. When I used it for the first time, I applied too much and results were not very good. So I highly recommend using a small amount first. \n\n I really like their formula, It  is creamy , hydrating and very easy to blend. Sometimes,I use my fingers to blend it and it works fine. It instantly makes my skin flawless without highlighting dry patches and rough skin. The packing of these Colour Correctors are good,  I really like the foam applicator, it makes application very easy and hassle free. The only issue is that, sometimes I can not control the flow of the product and I got too much out from the pen.\n\nI use yellow to conceal my dark circle and believe me it makes my eyes instantly bright and fresh. The green one I use to cover redness or acne marks and blue to cover light brown spots. Both performs really very well and I have almost flaw less skin.  All of them really last for long time on my face and looks perfect even after hours of application.\n\nOverall, I really like these colour Correcting pens and they are must have in my makeup bag. My favourite is yellow one and even I can use it alone without foundation for makeup free looks.  \n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am such a fan of these pens! I had wanted to try colour correcting for a long time, but I was concerned that many of the formulas weren't creamy enough for my dry skin. These colour correcting pens worked perfectly. I have light skin that is prone to dryness and is often red, and with small children I constantly struggle with dark circles that my concealer can't hide. I loved the green colour that neutralised my red cheeks and spots, and the apricot under my eyes brightened them considerably. The formula didn't dry my skin and there was no strange colour left - just beautiful skin! My African friend who has much darker skin than I do loved that there were pens that suited her skin tone too - great to see an inclusive range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely loved those pens! Especially the green, which helped me so much with reducing redness around my nose and chin area. The best thing about it was the fact it layered beautifully with all of my products, it didn't budge or change longevity of my makeup. I will definitely repurchase this when I run out. I apply it directly from the wand and then blend out with brush. It leaves nothing but slight green tint behind, layer it even with bb cream and you will notice huge difference in the look of your skin. My second favourite pen was the yellow one, for dullness. On the days when I didn't get enough sleep or forgot to drink water it was a godsend! It picked up the look of skin and made it seem rested. The only criticism I would have was the colour of pen for under eyes for light skin tone, I'm quite fair and I need to using very sparingly, to the point of not wanting to use it since I need to be so careful not to apply too much. I wish that one colour was lighter. \nTo sum up, of you are looking for a colour correcting product, this is it, non-greasy, lightweight and does the job.\n

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These colour-correcting pens are fantastic! I am a huge fan colour-correcting products and found that this range do the job so well. They are very pigmented so a little goes a long way. They are also very easy to apply and the applicator makes blending a breeze. The green colour is great to hide redness and those annoying pimples, the blue/lilac one is great to hide freckles and even out skin tone and the apricot one completely covered the dark circles under my eyes (great for hiding a big night out..lol). I used the yellow one in the same places as I apply highlighter and was happy with the results. It is also a great eyeshadow base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’ve been using a colour corrector to mask my dark under eyes and the chin area and it came out too orangy once I blended in the foundation and concealer. I’m soo glad I found this corrector, especially the red one. It helped me mask the darkness very effectively and it evened out my problem areas very effectively. I’m a dark skin toned person and I highly recommend this. The application is quite easy and the pens fits my purse very easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was really looking forward to trying these camo colour correcting pens as I love maybelline products and these pens sounded so interesting. Straight away I can say I loved the green, it removed all traces of redness and evened out my skin tone beautifully, great under my foundation for a flawless finish. really simple to use, though it took a little bit of blending, the pens are not thick or cakey and are really high quality. Simply twist and apply with the applicator, be patient when twisting as it takes a moment. I blended this with my fingers but a sponge works well too, the pigment is a little heavy and you must be sure to blend well for a great result. The packaging is quite nice, not luxe but modern and simple and the product lasts really well. Overall quite a good result and I would recommend this product

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was really excited to try the these, and they didn’t disappoint! The best colour out of them all for me was the green, it really helped with some of my redness. \n\nThe consistency of the product itself is fairly thick, so it does take a bit of blending to get right. The pens themselves take a bit of time to get going, it takes a lot of twists to get the product out. They’re also quite pigmented, so you need a fairness bit of foundation to cover. \n\nOverall though, this is a useable, affordable product that’s fun to play around with, and I’ll definitely keep using mine in the future! \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I am very excited to try these corrector pens from Maybeline, so far I like them very much, it covers really well for my redness around my nose, it ‘s a bit thick when it comes out but you can blend it with your beauty bender which I prefer than the applicator. I would buy it again if it ran out and I would recommend for everyone have medium skin tone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I had a bad experience with colour correctors in the past so was keen to see if this would change my opinion. It took me a bit to get the right amount and to blend it well but when I did I was sold. I used the green the most out of the colours as I have troubles with some red patches on my face. It's super easy to use and I can see myself buying this again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was t expecting much from these corrector pens but was pleasantly surprised. The pens were easy to use and the formula was nice and creamy. I found that the applicator was okay for applying the product to my face but it didn’t do much for actually blending the product so I found that my fingers worked best when blending the product. This product worked well to hide redness and circles around my eyes and I really liked the brightness the yellow pen gave me. It made my eye area look quite smooth and youthful and looked great. I wore the product under full coverage foundation and worked great but I’m not sure how it’s go wearing under a light foundation or powder as the colours can be quite dark. \n\nThe packaging was quite average and I found it difficult removing the plastic wrap from the product before use. \n\nAll-in-all, this is a great product if you cannot afford one of the high end corrector products.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received as part of the Review Crew and I was super surprised with these colour correcting pens! They are really pigmented and I quite like the twist pen/cushion tip design. The green is my favourite, I apply it on red spots under foundation and it works so well. The yellow is really good at hiding dark circles, and can even be used without foundation over the top. They are creamy in consistency and as they are so pigmented, you don't need much at all. I haven't played with colour correction pens before so I had a lot of fun trying them all out, and would definitely re-purchase the green/yellow.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have never used colour correctors before, so I was excited and nervous to try the Maybelline pens.  Overal my favourite and most used are the green, as I have a lot of redness in my skin - both from acne scarring and general redness, and the apricot as I have under eye circles that are genetic and therefore nothing I can do to remove them!  \n\nI like the applicator, although found with smaller spots I needed to apply a tiny bit and blend out.  The applicator worked well under the eye, once I worked out the idea number of 'twists' I needed to do to get the right amount of product.  The apricot worked better than anything I have used before to counteract my dark circles.  My foundation sat well on top, I just needed to be a bit more careful to ensure the colour was covered, which was fairly easy.  The apricot and green pens make it a lot easier to have a flawless base.\n\nThe blue and yellow were good for brightening different areas, and work quite differently to trying to brighten the face after foundation with highlighter etc.  I didn't use these colours as much as I was focussing on correcting my stand out problems (redness and dark circles).\n\nOverall I really liked the pens and will repurchase. They are great value and allow you to buy just the ones you need, rather than a whole colour correcting pallette.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was very keen to try out these colour correcting pens, especially as they were from such an affordable brand such as Maybelline. Overall, I enjoyed using these pens and I did think they each served there purpose well. But the best thing about these colour correcting pens were that they were so easy to use! I found the click stick much easier to use than other colour correcting products I've used before- which tend to be drier cream-concealer type products in pots. I found the pigmentation of the products just perfect- enough so that it performed its purpose (i.e. green to disguise redness) while not being too pigmented so you could still place a concealer/foundation over the top and not see the colour underneath. I found the pens blended very easily. However, I do have quite dry skin and I found that when using the product (the apricot colour for dark circles) under my eyes, that the product was a little patchy and harder to blend out. Although, I found the products much easier to work with when blended out on my face with a nice, moisturised base underneath. I would also recommend using a sponge as I found this helped the bendability of this particular product. Also, starting with less product rather than more so that you do not deposit too much colour onto the skin. \n\nI also would recommend this product to those who wear slightly more makeup and prefer more of a medium to full coverage. As this product is quite a bright colour you need a fair amount of concealer/foundation to hide the initial colour you place down. Thus, if you wear very light makeup it can  look quite unnatural say to have a low coverage base and then a ton of product underneath the eye were you have placed multiple layers of product. I mainly use this product when I'm going out at night as that is when I want my makeup to look more flawless. Lastly, I also find this product wears well and lasts on the skin throughout the day. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was wrapt to see I got to try all of the colour correcting pens even though I didn’t need them. The pens definitely took way more than 20 clicks to get started but once the product came out it came out heaps which I ended up finding a little bit hard to blend in well and then our foundation over the top. The colour was quite prominent, maybe I just need to learn to blend better. I definitely would try these products again though, it was super handy having them in little easy to go pens with a brush on the end for quick fixes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would definitely recommend these for some extra cover. They are super easy to apply with their nice cushion tip, and also easy to blend and use under my regular cushion, BB cream or foundation. I find that the colours help with the redness and dark eye bags, although sometimes it takes a little longer for it to take effect. \nIt is quite moisturising in the sense that it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry and blends well so that it doesn't seem like you've applied an extra layer. Its hard not to get carried away with painting your face because the colours are so beautiful. Its natural looking and easy to use. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These pens have the most amazing formula! Super creamy and hydrating while being really pigmented as well. The applicator tips are shaped well for eye and nose contours. My favourite was the green one for dark circles. I also found they had great staying power and seemed to wear really well under makeup as well.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I first registered for this trial I was super excited to try these colour correcting pens as I haven't got the chance to try many other products like this before. However, I only just received the product yesterday... on the day the reviews were due. So, I I have just quickly played with the product now and the product itself seems very pigmented and easy to blend. I did notice it is quite drying especially around my eyes so using a hydrating primer before using these products is a must. I just tried the apricot colour on my dark circles and it worked a treat! I also swatched the product on my hand and it dried down quickly and will not budge now even if I rub my skin. I've never actually found a concealer that has worked this well! The packaging feels a little plasticky and weak however I did like the applicator sponge. Getting the right amount of product out of the tube is a bit of a challenge... I've never really liked these click style pens for that reason. Overall my initial review is that this is a great product and could only be improved by maybe some better packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was super excited to try the Maybelline Camo Colour Correcting pens. The ones I reached for the most were the salmon coloured and the green coloured correcter pens. The first time I used the pens I had to twist the pens about 30 times before it started dispensing the product. I actually thought the applicator was broken but if you encounter this issue, don't worry, just twist some more, it will eventually dispense the product. I found it also leaked product but for me it was never enough to leak out of the cap, it just set on the fuzzy sponge tip applicator. \n\nThe fuzzy sponge applicator tip is curved to help blend the product in but I really didn't like using it. I prefer a dampened makeup sponge or concealer brush for blending the product in. The product is creamy and pigmented and a little bit goes a long way. Even with my olive to medium skin tone, the colours looked kind of dark on my skin. I had to blend a lot to get it down to the desired tone on my skin. I follow it up with concealer and makeup setting powder. As a precaution, before I go out, I try to look at my makeup in daylight to ensure I don't look like a parrot with all these colour correcting product on my face. The key to it working is to blend, blend and blend some more. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I suffer from dark circles under my eyes and redness, so when I received these in the mail for the trial team, I was really excited to try it.\n \nI was instructed to twist it 20 times so the product can be released, I was quite confused at first since I thought 1 click = 1 twist but that was not the case, I was worried the product was faulty but I kept twisting and after a while product came out on the soft applicator, however, I found almost to much product was dispelled on the applicator, especially after those first few twists. I ended up using my fingers to apply and blend since I didn't want to go to OTT & since the product is so heavily pigmented.\n\nI really liked the packaging, even though there was to much product on the applicator, especially the way it explains what each colour is for on the packaging and what skintones it would suit best.\n\nI swatched all of the pens I received, but I found myself reaching for the green one the most, it covered redness quite well, but the red one didn't really match my skintone well. I really liked the formula as well, it was easy to blend.\n \nOverall a great product!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I received these pens to trial as part of BeautyCrew’s ReviewCrew. This was a good trial for me, as I’d tried other colour correctors and been unimpressed (hard to use, very heavy/thick and difficult to blend). Overall, I found Maybelline’s colour correcting pens to be very easy to use, as they are easy to apply and blend very well.\n\nI mostly used the green pen (corrects redness) found it to be perfect for the redness I get around my nose and under my bottom lip. The green blended well under my foundation, but I found I needed to use a bit more foundation than normal to fully cover the green - I generally wear light coverage, so I needed to go to a more medium coverage. For me, the pens are not going to be used daily, but they will definitely be used when I do a fuller face, or need move coverage.\n\nI would recommend anyone looking for a simple colour correcting product give these a whirl. \n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I’m always excited to get a beauty or skin care product in the post from beautycrew to review, what normal beauty and makeup loving girl wouldn’t be?! It’s even better when it’s from a brand that I love, like Maybelline New York, and also something that will help cover up my less than perfect skin and is in an easy to use pen shaped tube. All my boxes have been beautifully ticked.\n\nI’m true makeup loving passion, I tested every single colour, even the red one made for darker skin tones, but in the end the ones I use most frequently are the green one, to cover redness and the apricot for my dark circles.\n\nAfter my normal morning routine of double cleansing, serum and moisturiser plus primer, I applied the green pen in small dabs to all areas of redness and blemishes, paying particular attention to the creases around my nose, chin and mouth, and blended in until it was seamless, which was surprisingly easy and quick to do. I then added small dots under my eyes and tapped in gently with my ring finger. Followed with concealer and foundation, my skin was left looking like I’d used the best, most flawless and glowing Instagram filter there was. It lasted all day, didn’t budge, melt or go shiny through my makeup and removed effortlessly during my evening skin care routine. I’ve used it every other day since getting it weeks ago and it’s not even half empty yet, as so little is needed each time and goes a very long way. Plus the clever pen formulation is easy to use and mess free and when I use it all up eventually and need to buy more, which I definitely will be, it’s the standard Maybelline affordable price.\n\nEven though I’m not able to use every colour, what I do use I absolutely love and can’t live without now. We can’t all wake up looking Instagram flawless, but with these fabulous Maybelline New York colour correcting pens, beautiful skin is only a click and dab away, and we are definitely all worth it.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was a bit nervous about using the Maybelline Colour Correcting pens. I was unsure of what to do with them and didn't want to end up looking like a clown!\n\nSurprising they work well, especially the green for my redness. Overall, the only one that was unsuitable was the red - as I am too fair skinned to use it.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was lucky enough to receive all 5 colours of this product to test out for the Review crew. When I received them all, they were packaged the same, the tubes were different colours depending on which corrector they were. I’ve only personally used a green corrector before so I was very interested to try these products out. The packaging is a tube with a twist up mechanism with a little sponge applicator on the top. I’m not really a fan of products with the twist up, I find them difficult to control, twist it a few times and nothing happens, twist again and suddenly too much product is spurting out the top. Another negative I found with this product specifically is that you can’t see through the tubes to tell how much of the product is left. Each of the products were a creamy consistency, highly pigmented and felt nice and smooth on the skin. \n\nGreen (to cover redness)- I’ve used a green corrector previously so I knew what wonders to expect with this one. I liked the way with this product I could dab on a small amount to blemishes and the sponge on the top made it effortless to blend out. The green colour was just right, it didn’t stand out weirdly, and you couldn’t tell it was there under foundation. Thumbs up\nApricot (to cover dark circles)- This is the colour I was most looking forward to trying, and also the one I was most disappointed with. I think it was too pigmented. I have a very fair skin tone and I just felt like no matter how applied it, blended it and covered it with concealer/foundation I could see the orange. It looked like I’d applied a concealer/foundation of the wrong colour around my eyes. I didn’t feel like it covered my dark circles, I was too afraid to put it on too thick because of the colour. I don’t think this one is suited for people with really pale skin.\nYellow (to cover dullness)- I actually liked this one for brightening, I even tried it and liked it for covering my dark circles better than the apricot corrector. It’s a nice creamy yellow that didn’t look out of place.\nBlue (to cover sallowness)- I didn’t really get a chance to try this one out on my skin because it’s not an issue that I have. The product itself was a very soft almost white blue, which I think would be nice and easy to blend out under makeup\nRed (to cover dark circles for darker skin tones) - As I have very fair skin and didn’t have much luck with the apricot corrector I didn’t test this one out. I have a friend who will be giving this one a go, and I can’t wait to hear what she thinks, I know she struggles with dark circles the same way I do.\n\nOverall, I liked the idea of this product. It’s nice and creamy and easy to blend with the sponge. It’s available in a nice wide range of colours for most skin concerns. Anyone thinking about buying the green or the yellow I would say absolutely go for it, if you’re considering buying a colour for dark circles I would suggest making sure you test the colour first in good lighting. I can’t comment on value for money because I can’t see how much product is in there, will it last a long time or only a few more clicks? Guess I’ll have to wait and see. I’ve always loved a good green concealer for blemishes and I would recommend this one to friends, it’s super convenient that you can blend it out with the included sponge, and I will continue to use the yellow corrector for it’s brightening abilities too.\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was excited to trial the Maybelline New York Master Camo Colour-Correcting pens as a part of Beauty Crew's review crew as they are something out of the regular beauty routine for me. \n\nUpon receiving the pens, I liked the simple design of the pen, and appreciate the application wand, which I think is smooth and spreads product fairly well. Once on I blended well with a beauty blender. I found myself reaching for the green pen most often to cover redness and was actually surprised by how well it worked. Once you have foundation over the top you really cannot tell that you were once red or green on the face and it does assist in evening out your skin tone and hiding that unwanted redness. As a fair skin tone, I also appreciated using the yellow pen to brighten up my face and the apricot pen to hide dark circles around my eyes. I found that the yellow pen colour probably blended the best out of all the colour tones, though the green pen definitely worked the best in covering up my problem areas. I found it difficult to use the blue and red shades as they weren't really suited to my skin tone. \n\nThe pens themselves are fun to use and experiment with, though does add an extra few seconds to your routine in the morning so I found myself only using them on days I was doing a full face and wanted to look flawless. Overall really enjoyed trailing the pens and the results they produced, and will purchase the green shade in particular when mine runs out. \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was my first experience with colour correcting and the pens were great! They were super easy to use and the applicator was soft and helped to blend the product in. I did t really use the lilac coloured one or the red (it was too dark for my fair skin) but I’ve gotten a lot of use out of the others. My only two critiques would be that sometimes even after really blending it out I felt like I could still see some green in certain areas so I would apply a little more foundation that usual. The other is that it’s really easy to over turn the applicator and get wayyyyy too much product! Other than that I loved them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was initially very skeptical as I've never really dug deep into colour correcting and was always worried about the bright colours showing through under my makeup. But I was pleasantly surprised! if put on thinly and precisely, it blends out and disappears under concealer without looking muddy or cakey! But a little definitely goes a long way. The product is so smooth, creamy and very pigmented! The green for redness was definitely my favourite and has made its way into my routine when I'm feeling particularly blushy or breaking out. Super easy to apply, long lasting, and they get the job done. I highly recommend. Overall a great product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was fortunate enough to trial these colour corrector pens and found them to be a welcome addition to my makeup routine. They were very easy to use and the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. The concealer was very easy to apply, it comes out thick but blends really well. I found that a little went a long way so don't wind too much as you'll end up with too much product. \n\nI primarily used the green pen and it was great for the redness on my face; especially around my nose. It was really smooth and blended well. It was seamless under my foundation and made a huge difference to my redness over the day. The yellow definitely brightened up my skin tone. It took a little practice but less is more when it comes to this product. Start with a good, primed base and it will apply smoothly.\n\nI definitely recommend these pens. If you practice and experiment you will find they work quite well and do what they claim to do!\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Maybelline New York Master Camo Colour-Correcting Pen\nMy first impression of Maybelline New York Master CamoColour-Correcting Pens was oh my what have I gotten myself in to. I had no clueabout colour correction and there seemed to be so many colours, but having readthe labels and instructions I dived in and was pleasantly surprised. Thecolours glided on smoothly and were really easy to blend with my foundation. \nI was surprised at how flawless my skin looked after application, I felt like Ihad stepped in front of a photoshopping mirror.\nIt was mesmerising and well worth the few minutes it took to apply the colourcorrecting pens. \nI found that I mostly used the green for redness as I had slightly sun kissedcheeks and forehead that can often be associated with summer and the apricotfor dark circles caused by lack of sleep.\nThe colour correcting pens did an amazing job no matter which colour I used (Ieven used all the ones suited to my skin type together at one point).\nThe end result had me astounded at just how uneven my skin tone really is, I’lldefinitely keep using this product in the future and I look forward to using itfor special occasions and family photos.\nIf you have any issues with your skin tone I highly recommend you find thecolour that will correct you issue and give it a try. You won’t regret it!\n \n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this product as it comes in a different color to combat different types of skin problem and to suits different type of skin. The colour correcting pen colour which I've used the most it's the green colour.  I've use it to patch/ cover the redness on my pimple spot. As my skin it's a bit dull and ashy in colour the Yellow colour correcting pen really help to brighten it up. My most favorite of all it's the apricot as I can see big different on my dark circles. It's like a eraser pen which helps my dark circle to hide away. The product itself it's light and handy. Easy to be kept and bring around especially when travelling. What I love the most it's the sponge tip shape. It makes it so much easier to apply on the targeted spot. I find that it is easy to control the amount of product without wastage. No problems with blending the product in as the texture it's just in the perfect consistency without making my foundation looks cakey. Will definitely purchase this again.\n\n

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm a person who has quite a lot of colour correcting products from many brands. When I received these camo pens three weeks ago, I wasn't really kneen on trying them knowing that nothing really worked on my face as I wanted to. But when I did, I was deeply impressed by the end results. These pens worked amazingly. They were soft and easy applying on the skin unlike many other colour correcting products that come in thick cream shade that feels like I'm applying a thick mask. But these ones were the by far the best. The liquid formula was light and a bit watery that allowed the product to easily blend on the skin. Since I had a lighter skin tone I was mainly using the lighter shades like yellow and apricot and a bit of purple. The pigmentation of those colours was even and consistent. They hid my dark circles and dullness very easily.  One thing I didn't like was when I received the pens, it took me around 20minutes to get the product out of the pen. I was twisting the back cap for a pretty long time before it finally came out on the sponge. But after it was opened, I didn't have any other problems with it so that's good. Overall I would say the pens are amazing, I would highly recommend them to friends and family, infact I did give the red one to a friend since she has a darker tone than mine and she was surprised how well it hid her dark circles Under her eyes. I would really recommend these pens for everyone. They are fast, effective and easy to store. No need to carry big palates of makeup. One pen is all you need.
