Directions

Use twice a day after cleansing and toning, and before moisturiser. Apply evenly on face until the serum is absorbed. Use with a UV product in the daytime.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great moisturising [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a month of using this, there is no significant brightening or glowing effect on my skin. However, this serum did moisturise my skin very well, especially during the dry winter months. It is also gentle on my skin and the texture is light enough for my skin to absorb within a few second of applying it. My face does become slightly more greasy after one hour applying the serum, but overall it is a good serum with nice moistursing and hydrating effect.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Serum, but has some drawbacks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Texture of the Vit C serum soaks in nicely, and it does plump fine lines slightly for the first few hours of wear. I don’t feel it made any difference to dark spots unfortunately The twist/pump lid works well when the bottle is full, not as efficient once it’s less than half way. Unfortunately the fragrance is really strong - I am not a fan of fragrance in skin care and anyone with allergies would possibly react to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed using this so far, the smell is just divine and unlike other serums I’ve tried it soaks in quick enough for me to use in my morning routine when I don’t have a lot of time. Two pumps feels like a lot of product for the day, but love it at night. My skin feels super hydrated and soft!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great serum for some The serum arrived in attractive packaging. The bottom was a nice slim design - easy to hold and to store. I had some issues in the beginning figuring out how to actually use it, I expected the pump to pop out of the top. Luckily it came with instructions on the box and once I'd figured it out, it actually works really well. The pump dispenses the right amount to cover your face nicely without overusing the product. The serum itself was really nice and lightweight, went on nicely and covered well. Had a nice light fragrance to it. It absorbed really quickly and didn't feel greasy on your skin at all. I have very fussy skin - particularly on my forehead I get a lot of small bumpy texture. To use this product alone really flared that up. If I used it in the evenings and my normal serum in the mornings then it worked quite well. My skin was a little brighter. Not sure if it did a lot for the dark spots but overall not a bad serum!

As I have quiet bit of sunspots due to starting skin care late and this new Olay serum has both ingredients, I need in one. The shine aqua/silver packaging is well instructed with readable fonts and clear intro and how to. When I opened the box the took out the serum bottle. For a 30ml serum, it does look very portable. I was amazing with its sexy silver cap and shining white glass bottle base. The cap is very well designed as a twist open with pump coming out, rather than straight pump top. The serum itself is lightly floral fragrant in cream colour. The texture is surprisingly light with shining sparkles. I followed the instruction of using the is serum twice a day after routine cleaning and toning before moisturising. I have to give it crest to absorbing into my skin fairly quickly. Zero stickiness. However, I’m unsure whether the serum is not strong enough for my skin or that I only use about 2 weeks since I received this product. I honestly cannot see any difference. Maybe the actual Niacinamide and vitamin C is not in high dosage. Saying that I do love the feel on my skin. I’m going to use it until the bottle is empty and see if any changes appeals on my skin. Otherwise, since I usually use moisturizing gel. I may keep using this as a moisturizer than a serum.

Great for those who want to add vitamin C to their skincare routine but is worried about any sensitivities and allergies - this one is gentle! Would recommend to apply following your toner and water-based serums but ensure that you follow with more moisturising products, as this won't be enough. The packaging itself is quite luxurious but mimics the original design of Lancome's Advanced Genifique with the droplet nozzle that captures product when you begin to unscrew the top.

This serum comes in a really nice tube, it looks really nice and luxe. It is easy to press to get some serum out. The serum also glides really easily onto my skin and I only need one pump to cover my entire face. I wait until the serum is absorbed into my skin and then I apply on my usual moisturiser. My skin is left feeling really hydrated and nourished. My skin looks a little brighter and my skin does not look as dull as it was prior to applying this serum on. I look more awake which is really good. It also feels good.

The serum contains Niacinamide and Vitamin C for radiance and even skin tone penetrating 10 skin surface layers. The serum smells beautiful and absorbs quickly. I find my skin looking radiant, hydrated and dewy instantly after its use.

I really like the effect both these ingredients have on my skin, which is oily and acne-prone, as I am focused on removing my acne marks and sun spots. Firstly, the bottle is quite innovative, as unscrewing it will automatically push the product into the dropper, and then pressing the top will dispense the serum. It was easy to apply and soaked into my skin well. I used this in the mornings, and didn't find that it interfered with my other products. It is non greasy which is important as my skin is oily. I also noticed that it made my skin feel quite smooth. I will say that if you are sensitive to fragrance, this might not be the product for you. I noticed a very strong scent, and although it is not offensive or unpleasant, it is quite strong on application. I did find that the fragrance subsides after a bit, but it's something to note. I have relatively reactive skin though and it did not irritate my skin. However, I find the fragrance too strong so would not repurchase based solely on this. Although I haven't noticed a dramatic difference, this is a really nice serum to use and I recommend it for those who want brighter and smoother skin!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misleading Barely any vitamin C in this formula, (Ascorbyl glucoside right at the bottom of the ingredients) and the glow that people are mentioning is from the Mica in the formula. Olay has great vitamin c products in the USA atm so I’ll be waiting out for those.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Moisturising I loved the classy glass packaging and dispenser although it was bit tricky to insert the glass dropper back in. Size is too big for travelling but just put enough in separate glass bottle. The serum is really different from other serums: it's milky white with lots of fine glitter. Most serums are oilier (in good way), translucent, and viscous. It did give luminosity to the skin immediately as it has hydrating ingredients and the fine glitter reflects light off the face giving a brightening effect. After a full day I found my skin became quite dry. I did not notice any whitening improvements. I have freckles and small spots. Good point is that it didn't give me any breakouts or allergies. Unfortunately I didn't get much out of this product despite the super ingredients and I did not like the fine glitter at all. My skin did not agree with this guess I needed something more hydrating and purer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dodgy if you look at the ingredients/lack of vit C I asked Olay what % vit c this has & they couldn't tell me because it was a secret. This is a MASSIVE red flag for the below reason.... Theres no reason the % needs to be secret, its not giving away their recipe. The only reasonable reason= the vit C content is so low they don't want customers to know. If you look at honest/good quality products they are open/ state the %, eg Loreal's serum has 12% vit C. The companies that have low amounts oftwn hide the fact by concealing the %. 2nd red flag, the vit C is not even close to the tip 5 ingredients, it's about 20th, this girther indicates the vit C content is terribly low. How low... I can't tell, but I would guess we'll under 10% when you want between 10-20% in a product I've been meaning to make a YouTube about this so I should really get onto it as I only found out these issues after I brought it. So this product gets a 1 because of the companies deceitfulness
