Directions

How to use the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser:

1. Use a coin sized amount of the salicylic acid face wash on wet skin and gently massage into the skin for a few seconds.
2. Use warm-to-lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid cleanser.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum as the second step in your daily routine for that added hydration and to lock-in moisture.
5. Use the PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and apply it to your face and neck for a hydrated and moisturised feel.


Using the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser for body:

1. To use the salicylic acid body wash, use a generous amount of the cleanser to lather on wet skin all over the body.
2. Use warm to lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid body wash.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry the skin.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream for best results.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Underrated cleanser I had purchased this cleanser as an impulse buy, but this was such a lovely cleanser. A tiny bit went a long way. This removed even the most stubbornest products, for example gel eyeliner! It’s very gentle indeed, was glad to come across this. I do vouch that this product is totally underrated. There’s so much product that lasts you a while, including a beautiful price point for all too. I felt using a face halo with the products with some water to activate the foam, allowed for a direct clean to the face. This products was even great to clean the beauty blender. It can’t be explained how gentle the product is, but so effective too.

It only dries out your skin a little bit, but if younger moisturiser there noting to worry about and you will be al good. i think it's a nice product and it helped with the bumps on my forehead and chin that's why i would buy it again and definitely recommend it to people more suitable for oily skin but if you apply the moisturizer well it is also very good for dry skin skin

I like to use this one in the morning and then a more expensive cleanser at night and it seems to give the best of both worlds. this cleanser lathers really well and the scent is really neutral, the packaging is fine- just very basic and doesn't look nice but worth the price point it's at. I really wanted to get behind the hype but there's no way this would have my skin looking the way i want without the boost from another cleanser

When I first began using this, my skin had been familiar with glycolic acid (from Alpha H Liquid Gold), Benzac Ac (Acne spot treatment, and another acne prescription cream. I used this day and night when I began, and honestly it was a mistake. After a few days my skin felt tight, dry, and began peeling on the sides of my lips and I went through a bit of an acne breakout. Immediately I stopped using it for a few days, but I started using it again after that since it felt so smooth and therapeudic on my skin, however only use at night time. After this, my skin really loved it, and I've noticed (it's been about 5-6 months) firmer, smoother textured skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gentle cleanser The CeraVe smoothing cleanser can be used for both your face and your body to help exfoliate and cleanse your skin. It is lightweight liquid that foams up really nicely and helps to remove any impurities on your face and body without leaving it stripped of its natural oils. I love that it's gentle but does a great job of leaving your skin feeling clean. I have rough skin on my arms and back and while I don't think it was the best at exfoliating my skin with the small amount of salicylic acid that it contained, I felt as though it helped to reduce blemishes. The pump format makes it easy to use in the shower and you don't need to use much of it so the product will last you awhile.

It's more hydrating and gentle that my usual cleanser, non-abrasive and helped to even out the skin's surface. I felt like my face was brighter and skin more supple at the end of the trial, so I'd definitely continue using this product.

I have keratosis pilaris and this product helped reduce the amount of flare ups I had. However, it didnt get rid of them completely. Overall it is a good product. I can see how it would be effective for psoriasis or excema.

I was quite surprised at the cleansing effect with an amazing balance moisturising result. I have always struggled with products making my skin worse (unfortunately the life of sensitive skin) I am a huge skeptic with cleansers because they're always drying my skin out. I had such a positive result with CeraVe, the best part, it can be used on your whole body too!!!! I suffer from dermatitis on my hands and it actually seemed to of helped calm my skin condition down. My skin was left tighter, revitalised, moisturised and smoother. The price is extremely fair for a product that has been perfected by dermatologists. I used this in my children's bath, and within 3 days ( following up with the CeraVe Smoothing Creme) their skin had no dry skin patches left, my son's arms had lost the bumps and no reactions from anyone. I would highly recommend this product as an all rounder, easy and effective cleanser that is necessary in any household whether they have sensitive skin or not. I can only see positive.

My skin is normal usually but has been feeling a little dry. The cleanser is nourishing and gentle and won't leave your skin feeling tight afterwards. Has some really great properties like salicylic and hyaluronic acid, most skin types will love this product.

Its very gentle yet effective in cleansing the face or even great to use on body without stripping down the natural oils. My skin didn't feel dry at all and you only really need very tiny amount of product. The best part is there is no fragrance to the product which makes it even better. I love that this is paraben free as well. Overall its a great exfoliating cleanser with the rough feeling.
