Directions

How to use the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser:

1. Use a coin sized amount of the salicylic acid face wash on wet skin and gently massage into the skin for a few seconds.
2. Use warm-to-lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid cleanser.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry with a soft cloth.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum as the second step in your daily routine for that added hydration and to lock-in moisture.
5. Use the PM Facial Moisturising Lotion and apply it to your face and neck for a hydrated and moisturised feel.


Using the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser for body:

1. To use the salicylic acid body wash, use a generous amount of the cleanser to lather on wet skin all over the body.
2. Use warm to lukewarm water to gently rinse the off the salicylic acid body wash.
3. Pat don't rub the skin to gently pat dry the skin.
4. Follow with the application of CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream for best results.

I have dry and often sensitive skin, so I often avoid harsh cleaners that foam up but this cleanser is different. My skin did not feel sensitised after use and I can use it daily without leaving my skin feeling overworked. The chemical exfoliation worked well and I had no need for an additional physical exfoliation. Highly recommend.

My skin has been so dry with the cooler weather and I suffer from very sensitive patches that end up red and bumpy all the time. This cleanser didn't irritate them and after a week or so they finally started to heal! It does foam quite a bit, but I didn't find it leaving my skin tight and dry like a foaming cleanser normally would. I also used this on my upper arms where I have stubborn red bumps and this is the best thing I have ever ever used in calming them! Definitely recommend for bumpy skin.

I really felt like my skin was properly clean and hydrated at the same time - I've found it really hard to find a cleanser that ticks both boxes! It easily removes makeup in one go which is great and my skin really does feel smoother post use. This is my new go to especially in Winter when I'm prone to dryness. I might start using it on my body, particularly legs to help get rid of flakiness.

With it's low concentration of salicylic acid, you can use this as your daily cleanser. Have been using it daily, and noticed the cleanser lathering up into a nice foam and leaving my skin feeling super squeaky clean and still hydrated after each use. I have also noticed that my skin is not as red since using the cleanser, and also really smooth. My current routine is to follow up with the CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream which helps to maintain the hydration and smooth skin. Would highly recommend this for those with dry and sensitive skin. This is really easy to introduce into your daily routine with good results.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I used this cleanser once a day on face and body. It foams very slightly, and leaves skin feeling surprisingly smooth and soft! I will definitely repurchase because I truly enjoyed using this cleanser, and would recommend to friends and family.

Vera Ve’s Smoothing Cleanser leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean, without stripping my skin - making it tight and dry. Which is what I look for in a cleanser. It was very easy to use, with simple instructions to follow, and an added bonus, it can be used on the eyes without irritation. One thing that I would fault with this cleanser is that the scent wasn’t very pleasant but not overbearing in any way (so not a big issue). I would purchase this product in the future, and I will be recommending it to my family and friends as it is a great, budget-friendly cleanser!

I used it with a cellular sponge and my skin feels very clean and smooth afterwards. There is no scent and as someone with sensitive skin I had no irritation at all. I was lucky to receive this product to trial, and it was perfect timing as I had decided the next cleanser I wanted to try was going to be a salicylic acid cleanser. I really adore this product. It cleanses the skin really well without overly drying it out (which is an issue I often have with really cleansing washes), and I am impressed with the appearance of my skin after use. I have sensitive skin and have had no irritation from this product. But I have used salicylic acid serums before, so still best to patch test. For the price, I would definitely recommend this cleanser.

I have been using it on my face, with and without my clarisonic and it works wonderfully on my oily skin. It doesn't leave my skin stripped but it definitely leaves it feeling clean. I haven't worn makeup recently so can't comment on its effectiveness at removing makeup. The price puts me off using this product as an all over daily bodywash, but I have been using it on my back where I have a lot of hormonal acne. In the first week it seemed to bring everything to a head, but i persisted and it is at a point where I am definitely starting to notice a dramatic decrease in new breakouts. This also occurred on my face but to a much lesser extent and I now have no active breakout on my face. I am a little sensitive to salicylic acid, so it does dry my skin out and make it a little sensitive if I use it too many days in a row, but I skip it for a day or two and its completely fine. I would definitely recommend to family and friends to try this product.

My skin can be a bit rough and bumpy, especially on my arms and back and this cleanser was great at softening my skin and lessening the bumps. It is a mild cleanser with a very faint scent. It foams up nicely and it helps to remove all the dirt and oil that has accumulated on my face and body. It's gentle enough to use everyday and it can be used for all skin types. I noticed that my skin felt much smoother and looked much brighter. Overall, it's a great cleanser that does not cause any irritation and helps to give you clear and healthy skin on both your face and body.

I suffer from eczema so I have to be really careful with face products. After having a baby my skin has been even more sensitive and very unpredictable. The CeraVe SA Smoothing cleanser is effective but really gentle on the skin. I haven't experienced that "tight" feeling after use that you can sometimes get with cleansers where it feels like your skin has been stripped of its oils. This cleanser is light but doesn't leave your skin feeling like your face is still dirty. Will definitely be incorporating this one into my routine. Couldn't be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've heard so many people raving about CereVa online recently and was pretty sceptical if I would actually like it or it was all hype, but wow do I love love love this cleanser!!! When I first pumped it out and saw the clear watery consistency I was worried but it turns into a beautiful light lathering cleanser that is super super gentle and doesnt leave me with that tight or dry feeling. I even tested it against my Estee Lauder foundation and it took it off super easily. Highly recommend for anyone who has redness or dry skin, I had absolutely no redness after using and my skin felt clean but not over clean. Happy to have found my holy grail cleanser!!

This cleanser manages to strike the fine balance between being exfoliating and not stripping. My skin feels really clean after using this, but never tight or dry, and it is less bumpy. It easily competes with the high-end cleansers I’ve used, for a fraction of the cost. I would recommend this cleanser to any skin type or concern and will definitely repurchase!

I have dry skin and find a lot of cleansers dry my face out too much, leaving it feeling tight but this one did the complete opposite, it left my skin feeling clean - rid of any congestion, also hydrated and soft to touch. I definitely would say this helped reduce the amount of rough texture on my face. A little bit does go a long way, I only needed to use a pea size amount as it lathers so well. I would definintely reccommend this product to those with dry, rough texture skin.

I'm usually a 'double cleaner', and with this I only need to use half a pump and it cleans my face squeaky clean. It doesn't leave me feeling dry and tight which is great.
