Rated 4 out of 5 by Tash1608 from Nice facial moisturizer with good results I was lucky enough to try this facial moisturizer as part of the trial team, thanks beautyheaven!! I must say the bottle caught my eye immediately, it was plain, simple but classy!! Looks great on my bathroom shelf with my bottle collection. I applied this moisturizer daily in the morning for just over a week and noticed really nice results after the first application. It left my skin feeling so soft and actually left me feeling like I was glowing. I have used a lot of moisturizers in my time and I think this one has made it into my top 10. There is a slight downside and when I say downside I mean tiny and really not significant enough to turn me off buying it again but I just didn’t really like the smell of the product. I don’t know how to describe it but I just didn’t like it and think it could be improved. Would buy it again because the results were outstanding!!

This moisturiser has a blend of natural nourishing ingredients incl Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil, Glycerin, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E to soothe, moisturise and nourish the skin, while protecting against premature ageing. It is fragrance free so it has neat to no scent, though you can detect subtle notes of the natural ingredients, which is still very pleasant. It has a light consistency that absorbs quickly without any greasiness, and feels nice on my combination breakout prone skin, without making it breakout or congested. It also layered well, so works well with a serum underneath, and makeup on top. It is a lovely moisturiser and it comes in a huge 100ml tube, which makes it very affordable as it will last you a long time. I love the fact that it contains so many natural ingredients and is also cruelty free and has a recyclable packaging, however, at my age, I feel do feel that I need something a little more intense for my mature skin., I feel it would be better suited for with younger skin types.

When applied the facial moisturiser soothed and pampered skin. I applied with gentle, upward strokes to the face and neck as the last step of my regular beauty routine. The cream/lotion absorbed well and it didn't leave any sticky residue. It was so gentle and pampering on my sensitive skin, providing intense nourishment and hydration. Left skin feeling silky, smooth and soft and I now have a more radiant glow. This has a beautiful blend of ingredients and I love that it includes vitamin E and has quite a light, natural scent. Dermatologically tested, and with it being antioxidant rich it is lovely while I find the packaging simple and beautiful. A great product that I would happily purchase and recommend others give it a try, fantastic.

Having used and enjoyed a couple of products from this brand I did not hesitate to give this moisturiser a try. The moisturiser contains macadamia and rosehip oil, shea butter amd Vitamin E. These ingredients combined help to boost hydration of the skin. This moisturiser contains 100ml of product in a plastic squeeze tube with flip top lid. I appreciate that it is not strongly fragranced, it smells pleasant and natural. The consistency is quite light like that of a lotion. I find that this moisturiser quickly melts into my skin and completely absorbs in little time. Surprisingly being so light weight, the moisturiser offers my combination/dehydrated mid-40s skin adequate hydration. I enjoy using this moisturiser both morning and night. I rely on my serums and treatments to provide anti aging results and this product provides what I expect from a moisturiser, to moisturise my skin. The Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser may not be a fancy skincare product but it works well for my skin. Hydration is very important for antiaging. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a simple fuss-free moisturiser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by renee.t from Nice Everyday Moisturiser I have been using this moisturiser for a few weeks now and have found it to be a lovely lightweight product. I use this moisturiser in the morning after cleaning and serums and before my sunscreen and make-up - it works well with my other products and I haven’t had any issues with pilling. It has been great to use on my skin which has been quite sensitive lately and has helped to give my skin some extra moisture while not feeling heavy on my skin. I love that this product also includes ingredients such a vitamin E that will sooth and protect my skin. In summer I could probably even use this at night and it gives a good dose of moisture. This is product is really great value for money and I love that it’s easy to find the product in my local chemist. I would think that this would work well for anyone in particular if you’re already using lots of active products and just want a simple moisturiser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stacinator from Smooth What a beautiful and lightweight moisturiser. From first look I did like the packaging. It's a nice neat tube for easy dispense and a clean design. The moisturiser itself has a very mild scent, I can't quite describe it but the macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter definitely influence that scent and isn't overpowering. The moisturiser is very smooth, lightweight and leaves my skin feeling so refreshed. A little goes a long way with this product I realised after the first use when I was a bit heavy handed (only plus was my neck and decolletage got extra hydration). I have used it both at night as my moisturiser and in the morning. I actually found it lovely in the morning as it was very refreshing, it left my face smooth and hydrated and I actually felt like my make up sat really nice and it was good base for it.

I find some moisturisers tend to make my skin turn into an oil slick and others are just not hydrating enough for me. I am pleased to say that the Glow Lab moisturiser was awesome for my skin. It offered the right amount of hydration, and didn't upset my skin in any way. It is a very light moisturiser and has the texture of a lotion, so it was absorbed swiftly. There is a very light scent that didn't worry me at all. It worked well under my makeup and is great as a day moisturiser. I love the fact that this product is made in New Zealand from lots of wonderfully natural ingredients such as Macadamia, Rosehip seed Oil and Shea butter. The packaging is 100% recyclable. One tube of this moisturiser would last for quite a while, you use such a small amount per application and that makes it very economical.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CherryBlossom from Good daily moisturiser The Glow Lab moisturiser is a flip top lid moisturiser which is light and fragrance free. It isn’t oily and I found it a bit dry to use, it didn’t feel as moisturising as some other face moisturisers but that could also be why it didn’t make my face seem oily by the end of the day. I used my fingers to apply this moisturiser onto my skin after my shower. I used it on my face and neck. It didn’t absorb very quickly but absorbed soon enough. The tube came with a sticker seal for keeping it fresh and tamper proof. The moisturiser is 100ml and a little bit is enough so this tube will last for a long time. The product contains macadamia and rosehip oils, maybe that’s the unscented scent I can smell, anyway it is a pleasant subtle almost non existent scent. I found this wasn’t as creamy as other moisturisers but I can look past this because of the natural ingredients and affordable price tag.

It comes in a generous 100ml tube with a snap top. It contains natural nourishing ingredients like Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil, Glycerin, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E. It is made in New Zealand and is vegan and cruelty-free. Even though this has fragrance from a blend of essential oils, it is very light and pleasant. For someone like myself who dislikes any strong fragrance either artificial or synthetic in facial skin care, it is fine as it is barely there. In terms of texture, it is very light and non-greasy, and absorbs quickly on my combination skin. It works well being layered over serums and under sunscreen and make-up, and does not interfere with anything or cause piling. In winter, this moisturiser isn't quite enough for me as I feel tightness after half a day, but in the warmer months it will be perfect as my skin becomes less dry then. It may suit normal to oily skin types better. This is product is easily available and very affordable. It doesn't have a lot of active ingredients besides the antioxidant properties and vitamin content from the natural ingredients themselves, but it does allow you to customise your skin care routine with the use of serums targeted to your needs. It's also a really good option for those who prefer a natural or vegan product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Simone from Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser This Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser was made in New Zealand, it is cruelty-free and recyclable. It is recommended to discard the product after six (6) months from opening it. It is a sleek 100ml matt white tube with rose gold and black text, and a black lid to finish off the tube. My skin has been a little rough recently due to it being toward the end of the winter season. The facial cream is enriched with some great ingredients to effectively moisturise skin. A little bit of the white moisturizer goes a long way and spreads quite well over the face and neck areas (don't forget your neck). It absorbs quite quickly and provided some much-needed hydration. My skin was certainly softer after the application and smelt great. The essential oils in this moisturizer really provide a fresh and feminine floral aroma, with a subtle citrus note. Splendidly happy with trying this product.

It has a discreet, yet non perfumed scent & is presented in a simple, 100ml flip lid tube. The moisturiser has little perfume & I believe it would be suitable for those with skin sensitivity. I found its consistency to be heavier than a lotion however not as thick as a cream. The moisturiser absorbs easily & quickly into my skin. Upon application, it has a calming effect & doesn’t leave a sticky residue & it sits well under makeup. My skin tends to be on the drier side in winter & I found this moisturiser to be not quite heavy enough, for those with « normal » skin, this moisturiser would be a good weight moisturiser. I feel it will be a perfect moisturiser for summer (in combination with sunscreen).

The face cream comes in a 100mL soft matte feeling plastic tube which sits on its lid so that product is ready to be dispensed. The scent of the facial is botanical and it is white in colour. Before applying this product to my face I dispensed a small amount onto my hand and the texture was runnier than expected and it slipped around and I almost lost the first bit I tried to use. When I applied this face cream to my face I still thought that it was too runny but I was surprised regarding the amount of moisturisation this face cream provided and the lovely matte finish it left on my face which I like as I naturally have oily skin. The cream does not have SPF which means that it is versatile and can be used either in the morning or at night but with sunscreen during the day. This cream works well with laying of products and since it was so light it was easy to apply to my decolletage which often does not like heavy face creams. Overall this is a lovely light weight and very affordable face cream which I enjoyed more than I thought I would and I will be rebuying this one. Made in New Zealand.

So far, Glow Lab products have been very hit-or-miss for me; this would have been a hit if it had SPF in it. I find myself in the pickle where I have oily skin, but I also want to wear SPF; my safest bet to not end up looking like a bowling ball is using a moisturizer WITH SPF, as opposed to using moisturizer and THEN SPF (which is guaranteed to make me shiny, and not in a good way). This moisturizer was actually perfect for me in every way - it absorbed quickly, left my skin hydrated but still looking fairly matte and even for the part of the day where it matters; it is rare for me to find moisturizers that don't leave any shine after and I LOVED that about this moisturizer. But without the SPF, it's just not practical for me to use. I would love it if Glow Lab adjusted this product and formula to also include SPF. I would be hooked. I also really love the packaging of this product; tubes have my preference by far, no product goes to waste, it's easy to dispense and control how much you use, and the packaging design is classy and pretty. I will definitely keep an eye out for Glow Lab's future moisturizer releases, keeping my fingers crossed for one with sun protection, because this formula is very promising for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jazlovestoskate from Does its job! The Glow Lab facial moisturiser is a great everyday moisturiser. It comes in a very genourouse sized 100ml squeeze bottle. The white moisturiser blends to clear and left my skin feeling dewy and supple. At first it feels a little sticky but after about a minute or 2 it dries and feels just like my skin but smoother. My skin is left feeling soft and hydrated. It lasts a few hours to half the day for me and I found that the large bottle means it can double as a body moisturiser as it works just as well and there's plenty of product to go round, I even added some to the backs of my hands after doing my face. Overall it's a very decent moisturiser and you get a lot of product for the low retail price. Definitely worth picking up to use as a body moisturiser too and it can be used day or night as well.

This moistursier comes in a 100ml tube and has a light, almost botanical like scent. PROS: *absorbs quickly *works well layered with other skincare *very affordable *readily accessible *dermatologically tested *lightweight *natural ingredients *Ph balanced= non irritating *antioxidant rich *cruelty free CONS: *May not be hydrating enough for drier skin types Overall this is a really decent moisturiser if you are looking for something natural, lightweight and cruelty free. For me personally, I prefer a moisturiser during the day that has spf and at night time I prefer something a little bit more heavy duty so this isn't a product that I would be regularly reaching for. However it was definitely soothing and gently hydrating. I think it's a great product for teens or for people with a really simple skincare routine. It would work really well for those with oily skin too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gea from Light-weight moisturiser for summer. This is a really lightweight moisturiser that surprised me with more of a lotion than a cream consistency. I will definitely get the most use of it in the summer because during the winter months, I prefer thicker and creamier consistency moisturisers. I used it every morning after cleansing my skin and found that it moisturised really well and prepped my skin for make-up. Since it is so light, it absorbed super quickly and did not leave my skin sticky. The moisturiser itself has no scent and therefore it is really good for people who are sensitive to fragrances. I am not sure it would be enough for people who have dry skin but it is definitely a good moisturiser for oily skin. Since it is currently winter and I am in air-conditioned rooms most of the time, I felt 6 hours after applying, that my skin was in need of another layer - hence the suggestion to use it in the summer.

This is a great moisturiser if you have normal or slightly dry skin. If you have very oily or very dry skin I would say this isn't enough. This is a great value for money, large tube of cream. The packaging is nice and simple, and the product boasts a powerful blend of Vit E, macadamia and rosehip oils. Those are three wonderful ingredients that I do look for when choosing a face cream so I am happy it contains this. It absorbs quickly and is a nice light cream texture. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling and is a nice setting to add a good sunscreen on top if you're using it in the morning. You can also go straight to applying makeup and it's fine if you use brushes, it doesn't pill if you apply any powders or oil based foundation on top. Make sure you apply this on the neck and chest as well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by onlyoni from Lightweight and nourishing moisturiser I’m always up to trying another facial moisturiser so when I came across the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser I was keen to see how it would perform. This moisturiser contains a powerful blend of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, boosted with vitamin E, to soothe and protect the skin. The moisturiser is packaged in a 100ml white plastic tube with a flip-top lid. Printed on the tube in black is information about the product, the ingredients and how to use the product. I quite enjoy a nice fragrance in my skincare so I am pleased that this moisturiser has a lovely floral scent which is not too strong. Only a small amount of this lightweight moisturiser is needed to cover my face and neck. The moisturiser absorbs fairly quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and nourished. Although it leaves a bit of a glow it is not at all greasy. I use the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser during my morning skincare routine because it is not heavy and it works well with layering. My BB cream applies well over the moisturiser without balling or flaking. I think the Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser is a lovely product and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

The moisturiser, a cream for face and neck provides hydration and protection that is long lasting. Helps fight signs of premature ageing. Has a blend of effective ingredients for all skin types. Does not contain SPF. Used daily and applied after cleansing skin. The moisturiser is white with a thick lotion like consistency. Has a smooth and light texture. Fragrance is nice especially for a moisturiser. Apply to skin by gently massaging until the cream absorbs. I don't over apply, I find a little goes a long way and with doing this does not take long to absorb. Feels lightweight and leaves skin feeling smooth, soft and supple. It is a good facial moisturiser, antioxidant rich and PH balanced. Received Glow Lab Facial Moisturiser in a Priceline goodie bag. Made in New Zealand

Rated 4 out of 5 by jupiter from Good natural ingredients but a bit heavy on essential oils I received this from the 2019 Best in Beauty event to try - thank you BH and Glow Lab! It is a moisturiser in a 100ml tube with a snap top. The product is made in NZ, is natural and cruelty free, and is readily available in pharmarcies and supermarkets at a very reasonable price and is often on sale. It contains nourishing ingredients like Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil, Glycerin, Rosehip oil and Vitamin E. Texture wise it is lovely, not too greasy and absorbs nicely. It is quite heavy on the essential oils which gives it the lovely scent - it smells lovely but for me personally it's a bit too much fragrance for a facial product. I don't mind it on the body. Overall it is a good and affordable moisturiser if you're looking for a natural product and don't mind fragranced products on your face. I still rated it at 4 stars as the fragrance is a personal thing, even though I won't repurchase.

Glow Labs is another NZ company providing natural skincare at a fantastic pricepoint ..and available in supermarkets,so being a bit of a skincare junkie,i was sceptical about trying this (how could this be anything but a cheap and cheerful product with no real substance),but i was wrong. This unimaginably gorgeous scented lotion (floral and very calming,if you hate scents,even those from natural botanical ingredients,look away now) is packed with skin loving additions (A powerful blend of macadamia, rosehip seed oil and shea butter, boosted with vitamin E,to soothe and protects your skin) that feels amazing on,and provides lasting moisturising for all day comfort.The texture is a rich,creamy lotion version,but it sinks in so well that even HUBBY loved it (and he is picky about what he puts on his face...i taught him well),whilst leaving a soft,sexy glow to your skin.The tube is a huge 100ml,and at $16,it is a no brainer to try out ,and the tube itself is clean looking,yet very elegant.Pick it up next time you are getting the bread and milk,and see what you think.

The smell is a bit strong for me but eventually fades out and also it does not irritate my sensitive senses. The texture is creamier and a little thick than I prefer but when applied it absorbs quite well and does not feel very heavy for a few hours. I have combination skin and this one like most other moisturizers makes my skin a bit oily, but this may be a good option in very dry winter months. I did had whiteheads but no acne while I was using it so that is a plus.

It has a very light creamy formular that just glides on the skin so easily and smoothly and absorbs super quick into the skin. It gives a great smooth moisturised feeling but I have dry skin and I feel like I need to use a serum underneath otherwise it's not enough hydration and I would only use in the day time as it's to light for night time. A very affordable and nice daily moisturises

The price is so affordable and I love the packaging and texture of the lotion. It doesn’t smell too overpowering but gentle and natural. My skin absorbs it easily and leave me with soft and nice look. Not greasy or oily. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Fhe5 from Light moisturiser This moisturiser is good as it’s very light to the touch, but when applied to your face, it sinks in your skin nicely and doesn’t feel overpowering or greasy. Since this face cream is quite inexpensive, I didn’t know if it would be any good, but I was pleasantly surprised. I like the soft plastic packaging and it looks like this moisturiser will last me for a couple of months. I will purchase this again.

I’d heard of Glow Lab but never used anything from them and had probably thought they were in the tanning market. They are another NZ company providing natural skincare. This daily moisturizer is in a 100ml tube with a flip top. Its black writing on white looks quite stereotypically ‘laboratory’ – although nothing in the lab I work in looks like this! It contains a lot of essential oils including daffodil which you don’t often see in skin care. It is cruelty free and the tube contains codes for recycling both the tube and the cap. The white cream looks thick as it comes out but absorbs very quickly. It has quite a strong floral smell but that fades quickly (its fragrance is from the essential oil blend). It makes my skin feel smooth and not sticky although it does look a little shinier than I’d like. Putting it on the back of my hand it looks like it should feel oily but it is quite dry. I’ve tried it both at morning and night on my mature combination skin – for night I’d prefer something a little richer but for daytime it works well so long as you apply sunscreen over. I’ve not tried it with makeup so can’t comment on that. While I prefer my day moisturizer to have SPF I would definitely consider this when I am next purchasing.

The 100mL tube features a flip top lid that is easy to open and close. The moisturiser is not too runny and has a lovely light floral scent that is not too sweet. I found that the moisturiser absorbed into my skin very well and left it nicely hydrated. It doesn't have SPF in it, so great as a night moisturiser or a top up during the day.

I was fortunate to receive this product to review at the best in Beauty awards 2019 and loved it instantly. It has a nice gentle smell and is very hydrating to the skin and imparts an instant glow! I have used it every day since I received it.Great to put on as a moisturiser by itself or a base before you put on makeup.

This moisturiser feels very lightweight but still really moisturising and caring for the skin. The first ingredient is water which makes it watery and the second ingredient is Shea butter which makes it very moisturiser and nourishing. Indeed when I apply this on my face, it feels just like that. I would say this is more of a summer moisturiser for me. And it smells so lovely, botanical and inviting.

This moisturiser contains so many great ingredients like rosehip, macadamia and kind to environment and definitely to our skin. I use it morning mainly after my serum. It absorbs and quench my skin nicely. Especially during winter where I need extra moisturisation. Great product at a great price!! Thanks BH for inteoducing me to this brand!
