My midwife advised me on using Medela contact nipples and I was sized accordingly at hospital. It was so easy to use to contact on nipples and clean with warm water and soap. My baby latched quickly and made my breastfeeding journey so much better.

I needed them due to nipple damage from a shallow latch. These shield are the softest and most flexible ones I found. I believe that softness also helped my baby latch easier with these. They were a good size very easy to apply and remove with one hand and stayed on well where others I found slipped around and fell off. Super easy to clean too.

Fast forward to now and again they have saved my breastfeeding journey and my nipples with my son. As he was born with tounge, lip and cheek ties which caused issues with latch in the early days. The carry case is super handy too.

They're incredibly comfortable, really easy to wash and also at a great price point. Theyre really nice and thin, so baby doesn't struggle much with nipple confusion.

It made breast feeding easier fort me and the shields were worth it because they last and they were comfortable as well. You won’t go wrong with these shield and should definitely give it a go for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally was able to latch using these [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to some complications with jaundice and having to express and bottle feed my son in his first week, we were really struggling to latch. My midwife suggested these as it would feel a bit like a bottle in bubs mouth. She called it a 'non slip mat' for baby! Lo and behold, it worked and we breastfed for the first time! I bought two packets thinking I would be using these for the next year, but eventually we achieved a good latch even without them. So don't go overboard, just buy one pack! I gifted the other to a friend. I also like that it comes with a little carry case so you can always have it with you without it getting crumby or grubby.

I was adamant I wanted to continue despite having extremely sore nipples from a poor latch, the lactation consultant in the hospital provided me with the Medela breast shield in a size 24 and it instantly made a huge difference to my pain levels and my babies latch. The material is flexible and easy to apply to the breast/nipple. I loved the storage container so I could keep tabs on the shield at all times, this was a huge factor in the success of my breast feeding and without it I would have definitely not continued for over 12 months.

When we returned home we tried a few other brands but quickly returned to these. They fit well, washed well and were a great shape for bub. The case they come with was very annoying but we simply threw this bit out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped with my nipple pain [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a little trouble but not huge breast feeding, I had nipple scabs because my daughter wouldn’t latch properly so it helped keep a slight barrier to my nipple aswell as help my daughter latch a lot easier. I only breast fed for 8 days but I used it since day 2 of giving birth. I’ve kept it for my 2nd baby, and I’d recommend all mums packing one in their hospital bag just incase they have any trouble breast feeding. Luckily the hospital I was at gave me ours for free which was fantastic. I also used the medela nipple balm aswell. Great company products

With reccomendation by a midwife, these created a barrier to give my skin a chance to heal and allow me to continue an exclusively breastfeeding journey. I would recommend these to anyone who needs to use them (under guidance of course).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product are used at the very start when I began breastfeeding as my nipples were quite sore and my son struggled to latch on. However, this was simply due to his tongue tie which got cut and resolve the issue. I would recommend if you feel uncomfortable with breastfeeding, or you’re nervous to start out as this makes it so much easier for both you and your child to latch on and breastfeed.

Bub had a great latch on the right but not so good on the left, this ended up with me having an extremely sore nipple and wanting to give up. I was recommended to try these shields and they were amazing. We only used them for about 2 weeks but that was enough to give me a break and my nipple to heal, baby seemed to latch so much better too. We no longer have to use the shields but I am so glad I did.

It’s the only reason I am still successfully feeding my newborn. We had latching issues in the hospital and I almost gave up on breastfeeding, until I found these! Now I buy them for every friend or family member who is expecting, because you never know! They are a literal godsend.

She was then bottle fed pumped milk for two months while I kept trying different ways to help her feed. I tried a few different shields with no success before I found these. With these she latched straight away! A few weeks after using these for every feed she started removing them and latching which she had never done. We have no successfully fed for over a year and it has been the best! I would recommend these to everyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great to help through trouble latching [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My lactation consultant gave me some of these to use because my premie was having some issues latching when he was first breast feeding. I still use them sometimes now when he is tired and tends to slip down the nipple. They are a bit fiddly to get on and the baby can tend to grab them and rip them off when you're trying to latch. But they will save your nipple while you work some kinks out of breast feeding.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute life saver for my poor tender, red and cracked nipples at the beginning of breastfeeding, one nipple needed the shield more as we were having latching issues. This shield seriously saved the day, I am so glad something like this is available, bub had no issues wanting the nipple once we no longer needed to use the shield, this shield was effortless. Only fault was the it didn’t always stick well and had to hold in place whilst feeding. Comes with a case, easy to wash and lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My bub initially had some issues with latching (he was born a little bit pre-mature) and would get super frustrated when he was unable to latch on. The Medela nipple was a lifesaver and enabled my bub to get a better latch. The nipple shield enables milk to pool a little bit which encourages bub to latch and feed. My only complaint is that the nipple shield can be fiddly to use and doesn't always sit flat on the nipple.

I have since purchased a few packets of these, they have come in very handy for help breastfeeding and easing pain from cracked nipples. The little yellow container that it comes with is also really handy for dummies or snacks, I would recommend these to any new mother.

I love the soft texture and that it was easy to use, what was annoying though was at times a lot of milk would come out and I would end up wearing it. I also didn’t realise and bought two however you only need one as you will only use one at a time. Super easy to clean which is a plus!

After using this shield my breastfeeding life got much better although my nipples still get sore if my son sucks too strong. Easy to clean, you will see the size on shield 20mm is M size.

And then, I discovered this nipple shied and everything changed! It's been a life saver, and change completely my adventure thru breastfeeding especially with a Premmie baby that couldn't latch properly and on top of that such a sore nipple that I wanted to cry. For every mum that is struggling, I highly recommend this nipple shield, is soft and super thin, flexible that adapt perfectly to the breast, with four little wholes that let you milk flow to baby mouth without be too much. Easy to clean, and does't melt or get ruin if you sterilize it.

We tried all the tricks of the trade, but nothing seemed to help. We then tried these and wow, absolute life saver. Bubs was able to enjoy his feeds and latch properly. We used these for about 6-7 months with no issues. Easy to clean, great small case. I couldn't have breastfeed so successfully without them. 100% recommend. Plus when they bite, it doesn't hurt (HAHA).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nipple shield is an absolute life saver in those early days, within a day my first born had torn one of my nipples to shreds from as few bad latches and I wouldn’t have been able to feed on it with out this shield. I now gift a nipple shield to any new mum who plans to breastfeed!

Comfortable, easy to use and the case makes sure you can always have some with you. I don’t know where our breast feeding journey would have been without them. It allowed my preemie baby to be able to feed when she was so tiny, and as saw as she could breast feed she improved greatly so that we got to go home sooner.

We had so much trouble with my baby's latch as he was born prem but the nipple shields made it super easy for him, as well as giving me extra comfort and protecting my nipple. Easy to clean. My only negative is that because they are clear, when you drop them they can be so hard to find!

Immediately I had relief and was able to feed my baby without dreading the pain! I made sure I had one packed in my hospital bag with my second baby and luckily I did because I needed it again to help him latch and used it for the first few weeks. Would definitely recommend! Love the little Storage case it comes with too.
