The bottle is 100% recycled plastic which is a hugely important direction for all brands to be going in. The ingredients list contains no nasties, however it does list fragrance/parfum which I usually avoid.

I liked how easy it was to use the Garnier Micellar Vitamin C Cleansing Water. I apply it to two round cotton pads and wipe gently over my skin with the first pad and then do a secondary wipe with the second pad. There is no overpowering scent, no stinging or irritation, this is a very gentle and pleasant product. I found I could see the dirt and make-up on the cotton pads, so I know it's cleaning/cleansing my skin, but how clean? I'm so used to a soaping/foaming cleanser, that unless I soap up my face and wash it off with water, I'm unsure how "clean" my skin really is. I really liked how quickly the cleansing water dries and feels soft and matte to touch, yet your skin looks bright and fresh. It was easy to apply serum or moisturiser afterwards. I have no complaints about this product, only my personal opinion regarding how weird it feels to cleanse your face without using soap and water.

I think my skin does appear slightly brighter but it is hard to tell for sure. I love the smell of this water and feel fresh after using it. Will switch to this one from now on and hope they come out with more types in the future!

I really liked the scent and texture, it soaks up really nicely and works quite well to remove dirt and residue from skin. It is good as a make up remover too, just not as good as an oil based cleanser. Ever since I started using oil cleansers to melt makeup, that really raised the bar. I can still remove waterproof mascara and heavy makeup with this, but it takes a lotta rubbing. I also really liked the reusable pads, but wasn't able to fully clean them after removing black mascara with it. Overall this is a very good product that is perfect as second cleanser if you're doing double cleanse, or to quickly cleanse your skin if you don't have makeup or too much dirt on it. But it's not the perfect all-in-one.

It’s so easy and quick, I just apply and it removes all traces of makeup and dirt gently and without drying out my skin. It has a really pretty rose scent that is not overpowering and I love that it is suitable for sensitive skin, this has never irritated my skin. It’s lasts for ages and is good value for money and delivers great results with very little effort. Garnier is a trusted brand and I loved this rise water clean and glow and I will buy it again
